Nickname: Aya, Ame-chan
Gender/Pronoun: Cis woman, she/her
Age: 19
Birthday: June 12
Sign: Gemini
School/Occupation: Destiny City University, English major; also a VTuber specializing in horror games
Hobbies:
Paranormal Activity || Ayame loves ghost stories--telling, hearing, watching, playing. Give her that good horror s**t and she will gleefully eat it up. She especially loves living in Destiny City, which is so full of ghost stories it might as well be bursting. She's not exactly a ghost hunter herself, but she does love listening to other people's stories!
Video Games || Technically, this is also her job, but outside streaming horror games as a vtuber, Ayame enjoys lighter RPGs and especially otome games and dating simulators in general. And yes, she shamelessly uses guides to make sure she gets to see every ending with every hot girl or pretty boy. She generally prefers not to stream these, though her viewers have been nudging her to do so, since she wants to keep those specifically for herself.
Reading || Specifically, reading light novels. She's a big lover of the otome isekai genre, and isekais and transmigration stories in general, but she'll also read just about anything else, including some truly spectacular trashfires. Sometimes, garbage is fun, and sometimes, there's even something to salvage out of the dumpster!
Fanfiction || Ayame is a shipper extraordinaire. This is often where the work of salvaging bad isekais goes--either she'll latch onto a particular character and write a ton of fic about them, or she'll take the better parts of the premise and use them as an AU for one of her many, many ships. It's all a good time, anyway!
Virtues:
Hardworking || Ayame always gives everything she does her all. There's no point if you don't, anyway, as far as she's concerned; maximum effort for maximum results! This means that if she says she'll do something, it will get done, and that she pursues her goals with dogged determination. There is simply no other option, as far as she's concerned. Why put in any effort at all if you're not going to give things your best?
Unruffled || Ayame doesn't get anxious, or scared, or nervous, or jumpy, really. She takes most things head-on, with calm and aplomb, be they setbacks in her projects or jumpscares in a game. Life goes better if you roll with the punches, and Ayame is very, very good at rolling with them. She doesn't do drama, or overreactions for views, or anything else--she's just here to get through, and she's getting.
Flaws:
Over-Focused || Ayame can be...very narrowly focused on her goals. She will throw her all into projects and forget that other things exist. This causes all sorts of problems, when she lets silly things like "self-care" and "socializing offstream" and "sleep" go by the wayside because she's finishing something. After all, she's hiding behind a vtuber avatar, so her viewers don't know that her hair's a mess and she slept two hours last night so she has mondo dark circles under her eyes.
Stubborn || When Ayame gets an idea in her head, she absolutely will not let it go. Sometimes these ideas are bad ideas. Sometimes they're perfectly good, but her refusal to change means they become rigid, fixed blocks that will not be moved. Ultimately, Ayame simply does not like admitting that she was wrong, or hat she overestimated her abilities, or that she made a wrong decision. That doesn't happen to her, nope. So she will stubbornly pursue things, even if it has clearly become an irrational or ridiculous choice. Damn the cannons, full speed ahead.
