Quote: Quote: The Fairies (7) : The City has been lit up for the Star Festival with banners and twinkling decorations strewn off the windowsills of shop fronts and windows. The gardeners at one particular park have put their heart and soul into creating a fairy's paradise: Fairy lights have been carefully dangled from trees to make strings of stars, little beaded jewels have been hidden among the hedges, and even the old cobwebs have been sprayed with just a touch of glitter. The park is open to everyone and the citizens of Destiny City have been invited to respectfully explore the hidden wonders that have been placed throughout. The park is magical enough on its own but there have also been reports of a strange, ethereal and shimmering stranger in the park. The glimmer of a beautiful costumed figure fluttering through the park has been passed around as rumor, and no matter what anyone claims to see, no one can take a picture of it. As if simply seeing some magical figure isn’t mysterious enough, there are also reports of mischief and small pranks being played at the same time this figure seems to appear. Oh! Oh, magic was so new! POumuamua was still fresh faced to the world of senshi and magic, and she sensed a need for practice. Something about her maghic seemed.. Broken somehow -- a cast just led to the half-formed something to explode harmlessly into beer, drenching anyone, but Oumuamua supposed that was just fine by her. She wore high heels, and she wore them well; not to mention she knew how to punch and take a hit, both suitable to fighting. Well, that and the fact she had no issues being half-feral for self defense, but she wasn't looking for a fight. Tonight she wanted to see how they decorated the park for the Star Festival, to see the brilliance and beauty of a city trying it's best to support community and togetherness, something so different to Japan that she couldn't help falling in love with it; the distraction from magic backfires welcome and wonderful, and the senshi paused as she stepped into the park, looking around in awe as she adjusted the wide brimmed, witch-styled hat thjat came as part of her uniform, half in awe, and half respect, the senshi's green eyes taking the sight in, deep in awe. "Dangerous or not... This city sure knows how to put on a show." Oumuamua breathed. pquote="Orangeish Sherbert"]

Hattie had been out simply looking around the park when she spotted the imposter. There was a senshi, a senshi wearing white who was dressed in purple and had a witches hat just like she did. For a moment, the girl saw red as thoughts and imaginings of Mirzam choosing this other senshi instead of her, of her girlfriend just enjoying those who were dressed like that and.
No. This city had room for only one.
Without much thought, but with the realization that she had to at least keep hidden, Hattie powered up into Helena in the shelter of a tree and then teleported right in front of the witch wannabe.
“I think you have chosen the wrong outfit, don’t you?”
There was a dangerous edge to Helena’s voice and the smile she wore was sharp enough to cut. “I don’t appreciate copy cats and I think I’m now at my Wits End.”
This may have been the first time that she was unhappy with her magic. She wished it were stronger. That it could kill. Why couldn’t it just summon knives to kill this imposter where she stood?
…Perhaps she would ask Mirzam for assistance in gaining such a thing.

....Was this weird senshi serious? Oumuamua supposed she was with magic and all, but... All it felt like was when one of her side projects got irritating, and that was nothing new. Confusing, if Oumuamua didn't have the base sense it was a spell meant to mess with her. A pity she was already annoyed trying to work out what the fae were doing in the park. Instead she glanced around a moment, making sure she didn't sight a 'real' problem -- well, besides a pissy b***h - and suddenly moved, grabbing the front of the senshi's uniform and yanking her in close to speak in a low tone that brooked exactly no tolerance for trouble and less for her asinine s**t."Now you listen, and you listen good. This is the wrong time to act like some entitled rich diva because someone else wore the same godsdamned spoiled brat is tempertantruming in fae territory over someone else's magic-chosen clothing, understand? You are noit putting boith of us in danger because you feel inferior about your boob siuze. We can bloody discuss this latyer. Got me?" The last part was half-snarled, before the tinkling giggles nearby drew Oumuamua's ear, and she grimacved, letting go but still speaking low, plainly meaning for the corrupt to hear. "Son of a b***h, the little... Dears are laughing at us." 'And THAT was more dangherous than this pill, in Oumuamua's mind.

For a moment, Helena wasn’t quite sure what to think. Surely this was a joke and this other senshi wasn’t…actually.
But. No, she wasn’t treating this as a joke at all, and when Helena processed all of the information, she began to laugh.
Of all of the stupid things to actually worry about. Worrying about the senshi who was attacking you, that would make sense, but worrying about something trivial that simply didn’t exist? That.
Helena’s laugher continued and she shook her head. “You. You’re a fool. Oh. Oh the poor little White Moon gaining the assistance of someone who’s so superstitious. You’re a fool and I feel sorry for you!”
Little did she knew that she would have once believed in similar things too, but all of those memories had been stripped from her mind during her corruption. She still enjoyed myths of supernatural occurrences but.
…She had never given any kind of credence to the Fae.

Oumuamua admittedly didn't fault her for disbelieving, but, she didn't need to laugh at her either. Considering the situation, though, Oumuamua wasn't entirely impressed eityher, the same arching brow shooting back up. "Laugh it up, dingus. Laugh it up. Normally, I wouldn't exactly worry since, you know -- fecking proof, but there's been enough reports of mischief in the area I'm not taking chances at piussing them off. Call me crazy, but I don't fancy the fae taking insult. Or an excessive liking. There's something around and frankly, a laughing hyena is the least of the problems around here." Oumuamua doubted she'd do more than bray like an a**, but, well, an Attempt Was Made, the senshi frowning before the hairs on the back of her neck rose as soime kind of light darte3d past behind her, a few notres from a violin riding the breeze elegantly.

“Youma. Officers. Negaverse Senshi. Hell, small children. Did you not think that any of these things could have been at the root of these rumors? Why would you allow your simple mind to go to something as idiotic as the fae? At least this encounter with you has put my worries to rest. There’s no way my Mistress would ever enjoy your brand of crazy. She’s not that desperate.”
The strange light didn’t escape Helena’s gaze, but she pushed it off as to being just a firefly or something equally normal. There was nothing strange about tonight except for the way this senshi was acting, and honestly? Helena was tired of it.
“You do you, Senshi. Enjoy getting eaten by the non existent fae that obviously populate the park.”
With that said, and a curt sneer, Helena teleported away, still annoyed, but less so now that she knew she at least had nothing to worry about.

.....She was still an idiot. Oumuamua rolled her eyes, but didn't bother responding -- her nerves were frayed enough by the sounds, never mind the risk of seeing something. But if the corrupt wanted to be off her nut and a skeptic, well, Oumuamua had no answer for that. Truly, the Beer Senshi just wondered how she could USE demi-useless magic and not consider the hazard. The senshi shrugged to herself before idly turning to meander away before she dwelled on it. Personally, she just wanted to get out and avoid the park until the festival was over, and Oumuamua hopped onto the nearest building as she meandered for home at a lazy pacve. Safer there than some fgae-and-dumbass ridden park, by far.
