That Susanoo finally asked to patrol with her again meant Susanoo was finally past her upgrade. Be it the fact she was coming home safely, or just the fact Zayne had asked his brother what the hell his problem was before the twins got into a fist fight, she wasn't sure, but Dubhe was happy Susanoo had come along. Dubhe wasn't an especially violent person, unless cornered, and she had been low-key afraid he might, in fact, not do aught until she was hurt; that it didn't get so drastic was wonderful and Dubhe was happy to walk the city with her cousin again. It was, so far, a quiet night, and the kind of night Dubhe relished in, culminating in a stop in the park just to reflect before they needed to go home. It was a nice break too; Dubhe was poised on a swing neatly, swaying just a bit and watching the stars, wondering when and how to explain homeworlds to her cousin, but mostly that was a long-term goal. For now, she relaxed, senses alert for trouble while Susanoo paced nearby. Susanoo still hated it. He was afraid he couldn't protect his cousin, keep her from ill harm, or take care of her like she should be. Super was stronger than Basic, but betyween Zayne beating him in a fight and Dubhe's sulking, he'd caved, and he had to admit -- he was happy to be walking the city with Dubhe. She was stronger, but gentle, smaller than him, and infinitely sweeter; he was convinced if chaos came at her, she'd roll over... Most times. But unlike her, he was more focused on things on Earth, not staring at stars or puttering about relaxing. He wantyed to do more rounds, check for trouble he felt had to be out there -- if he just found it! Evil didn't sleep, did it?... Probably not. But, less experienced as he was, he didn't know. He wanted to find out, but Dubhe was done and he wanted to walk her home, so, he paced near bushes, hakama swaying with his movements wiuthout inhibiting them. He still thought it was a men's skirt, but considering he was sometimes she, and that reghardless, he enjoyed wearing skirts and dresses, it was more a relief to be wearing a "man-skirt"... Even if Duche tyold him not to call it that. Susanoo fiunally paused to say something about getting home, when Dubhe's body language changed and she tensed, justy a bit, and Susanoo was on guard immediately, stock still and visibly on-guard, looking around as his jaw set tightly. He knew something 'ofgf' washed over them, but, unlike Dubhe, he didn't know why and instead looked to her immediately, silently questioning. What was tyhat?

If Danalite ever knew that someone thought of her as…something off, she would have been mildly insulted, but then laughed about it for far too long. Had she still been Dinara, the whole thing would have made her cry but…that was then. And she was better now. Stronger.
The fact that there were two auras there made her feel a little more cautious, and her dagger was in her hand as she came upon the two senshi. “Hello there. Let me guess, you two are here to stop my wicked ways and wish to push me back to the path of righteousness? If that’s what you’re here for, than I strongly suggest you turn tail and leave, unless you’re hoping to make the right choice and join the Negaverse, in which case I will welcome you with open arms.”
She gave herself a moment to flash them both a grin. “And if you’re offering yourselves as willing energy sources, I will gladly accept that too.”

When Danalite appeared, the personalities of the pair was immediately evident -- Dubhe responded by blinking, brows furrowing in deep concern, but she actually didn't act with hostility/ Admittedly, Dubhe supposed she ought to -- the Negaverse was possessed of youma, and youma were the one thing that drew a battle fever from the otherwise very gentle senshi. Dubhe knew of corrupts -- she knew they were in the Negaverse, but she didn't really have it in her to judge anyone. So, her expression was more disappointed than hostile, opening her mouth a bit of intention to remark she didn't intend to do either -- but it was Susanoo who beat her to action. Unlike Dubhe, Susanoo was aggressive, aware there was danger in the war, and he himself was more than willing to fight, and he had the muscle under his yukata-fuku to back his words. Although built like a swimmer, he was powerful and lithe, and unwilling to back down as he bared teeth in a snarl, immediately defensive and hostile. "We don't run, or surrender. Not to a tyrant." Dubhe immediately turned a fairly displeased look on her cousin, finally rising from her perch with a frown. "Sussy -- we don't have to pick fights, that won't help anybody--" "Yes we do! This is an enemy isn't it?! She just threate3ned us, we're not going tyo talk if--" "Sussy, please, don't--" Dubhe was getting uposet. She just wanted to let Danalite move along, but Susanoo? Shoved her behind him, turning angreily with a snarl. " You won't toucvh either of us and walk away, I promise." Susanoo snarled. Dubhe just looked ready to cry.

Danalite couldn’t stop the grin that spread across her face, her eyes narrowing and sparkling with utter malice. “I see. So you’re the one who thinks that he’s better than everyone hm? Good to know.”
She moved swiftly, lunging as though she were going to attack him. Stab him, whatever. But at the last moment, she teleported and appeared a moment later behind the senshi in pink, the one who didn’t seem to have much to say for herself which…was obviously good for Danalite. Her dagger was placed against the senshi’s throat and her hand slipped into her back, fingers gripping the delicate starseed that rested inside.
“I take it that you’ve never seen anyone with their starseed removed, have you? Well, I’m happy to show you just how beautiful these gems can be.”
With a small flourish, she removed Dubhe’s starseed and held it out, absolutely leering at the pushy senshi. “This was your fault, by the way. I would have just taken a little energy if you both would have offered but. The starseed of a senshi is worth so much more.”
It was pretty too. Danalite couldn’t help but look at it with an almost fond expression.
They were always beautiful.

Time slowed down as Danalite moved. Dubhe was more accustomed to seeing chaos in action, but the senshi was non-violent, more aware the Captain was nothing to sneeze at if only from experience; from seeing her energy forcefully taken, and she didn't want to fight anyway. No, Dubhe was more of a peacemaker, gloved palms raising in a gesture of peace as the daggar came to her throat. Speaking might not help, but a show of peace? The senshi could be comfortable doing that, hoping Susanoo wasn't rash -- before the world ceased around her and her body crumpled like a ragdoll, a;beit an ephemeral pile of delicate cloths, beads, and woman. Susanoo, however, had never even known what starseeds were, let alone much at all. He knew of them; Dubhe had seen exactyly one, and she'd retrieved it from a youma to save her father's soul, and he'd seen how broken his death left her heart. The event had led her to cling to his father tightly, as if dersperate for him to stay, to protect him. And Susanoo could never fault her -- she'd never known her mother, and never had a stepmother. She had lost her father far too young and now her body was laying on the grass and Susanoo's emotions were rushing like a torrent. He wanted to kill Danalite for even touching her. He wanted to see her blood on his hands, his hunting knife embedded in her heart -- but more than that, he wanted his cousin to make it home -- he knew his father would be wrought with sorrow if she died -- and Zayne -- and if somehow they knew it was his fault? No. No, he couldn't let her died. He'd promised to protect his cousin. She was gentle, and kind -- she was kind even when she was assaulted. Dubhe's gesture of peace was not lost on him -- the damnable monster in human flesh had attacked her and all Dubhe did was offer peace, and Susdanoo swallowed. "Let her go. She doesn't want to fight you. Please.." He hated begging. He hated it with every fibre of his being and he kept an eye on Dubhe's body. He wanted to kill the woman -- but more than kill, he wanted his cousin safe, protected. He wanted her to come home, so for her sake. For Dubhe, he'd do anything to take her home. He had to.,

It was nice to hear a word of manners coming from the temper ridden senshi, and for a moment, Danalite hummed softly, and then her fingers twitched, drawing energy from Susanoo, continuing until she had a moderate sized ball. It would keep him sleepy, make it so he couldn’t just come after her. “Since you’ve been a good boy and said please, and since I got enough energy for my quota, I’ll let you both live today. But I warn you, little one. You’re on the wrong side of things. You’d do better to come to our side. Not everyone will be this kind.”
Truthfully, she shouldn’t be this kind…but tormenting was more fun that traumatizing, at least for now, so she bent down and slid the starseed back into the pink clad senshi’s chest, and even went so far as to lay her comfortably on the ground before giving a nod and another grin. “Mark my words, okay? I hope to see you both in black soon. I’d love to welcome you both to the fold.”
And with those parting words, Danalite teleported away, pleased by her actions of the afternoon.

For a moment, nothing. Dubhe was still - breathing, but still otherwise, a sight that was unsettling for Susanoo to bear. He only tolerated defeat for her sake, more fearful of losing her than enraged. But she was breathing, and then she moved, slowly at first, mumbling pleas not to harm... One another. Slurred at first, like some nightmare that seemed unending. But her pallor returned, her strength enough to raise hjer hands, then lower them as she moaned a moment, and sat up, blinking in confusion as once more the world returned and the captain was gone. She was disoriented, and her chest ached only a moment bnefore she recovered, blinking, breathing. Alive at least. "S...Sussy...? Her voice was still weak, and immediately Susanoo's adrenaline faded completely, fatigue taking over as the tall man threw himself into his cousin, embracing her with his arms, wrapping around her for a moment as, in a rare instance of emotion, he sobbed, burying his face in the crook of her necl. He just wanted his cousin alright. He'd failed her so, and it settled, a lead weight of pain and fury and sorrow as he buried and sobbed. "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry.... I almost got you killed -- I'm sorry..." He wanted to go home, but fatigue -- and sorrow - kept him in his cousin's embracve, weeping, and Dubhe embraced him, holding the younger senshi gently, murmuring forgiveness and understanding in return. They'd return home soon enough. For now, Susanoo needed to cry.
