Hikari had been keeping track of days she had to wait before she would be capable of traveling to her world again so that she could attempt to do something about the dead spot. She had been reading up on gardening and she believed she had a plan to at least help area regain a little of its old glory. She had used her allowance and babysitting money to buy a shovel and a bag of mulch. She decided tonight she would removed the dead ashy soil as much as possible and then lay down the compost. She figure out where to go from there. She had stashed both products near an old tree in deep in a park near her home so that her family wouldn't ask questions she couldn't answer. She hoped no one had taken her stuff, she had left it where she was fairly certain no one actually went so she was pretty sure it would be fine. Once she was sure her family had gone to sleep she snuck out of the house and made her way towards the park.

Once was far enough away from her home she transformed into Sailor Tachibana. She quickly located the tree and thankfully her stuff hadn't been stolen. Lifting the bag mulch was much easier with her enhanced strength as a senshi so shouldering her gardening supplies she pulled out her phone and flipped through the app until she came to the app to take her to her homeworld. She pressed it and was instantly transported across space the asteroid that was her namesake.

She heft the bag in one hand and the shovel in her other as she made her way up to the castle. She made her way through the rooms to courtyard where the desolate garden lay. What she found when she reached the garden horrified her, the dead spot had grown a lot most of the garden was covered in the dead ashy soil, it was definitely expanding. That was a terrifying thought would it engulf the whole of her planet if she left it long enough. Her world was already not in the best of shape but if it all ended up like this place. It was too terrible a thought to consider so she shook her head clear of the thought and set to work.

It would take her much longer to clear all the ashy soil than she thought because of just how much there was but she tried her best. As she was clearing the soil a vision came to her. A memory of the past, when this garden was beautiful full of golden flowers. She sat at a tea ceremony with other senshi that she did not know, a diplomatic meeting perhaps. She wanted to know more but the vision ended before she could see any more.

This place was so important to her past so she continued her labor hoping that once she laid the mulch would put an end to whatever was bringing such death to her garden. As she worked she could swear she saw movement out of the corner of her eye, she feared there might be a deeper problem.
