School/Occupation: Crystal Academy

Hobbies: What does your character do outside of school/work during their civilian life? This should be an activity that they do on a regular basis, and should be something they could reasonably do in the setting and within their financial means. At least two hobbies are required, but up to five are welcome. Each hobby should be described with at least two sentences. Hobbies should be something that can encourage roleplay or be used to inspire roleplay, however players are allowed to have solitary hobbies as well.

Astronomy -- Back in her small hometown in Eastern Virginia, Day had received excellent and expensive astronomy classes with a personal tutor and had throughly enjoyed it. Now staying with her estranged Aunt and Uncle in Destiny City, who refuse to pay for a private tutor, she has to make do with with public classes twice a week, which she has learned to enjoy. She is really into learning about the names of and certainly the different asteroids in the Solar System and beyond (didn't know there were any beyond - who are you again, and where did you get your license to teach Astronomy?)

Physics-- What better to go with Asteronomy than Physics? They seem to go hand in hand, as to learn about the universe and everything around us - we need to understood how it works (or at least Day does) and that is Physics. Unfortunately not everyone sees it that way. On the one hand she's a "nerd" (or so the others call her), she's rich, and then there's what her family calls her "Identity Problem". It would seem that she doesn't have a lot of friends; well at least she can count on her twin brother Dyl to understand.

Virtues: These are positive aspects about your character's personality that affect them on a daily basis, and are things your character could be praised and admired for. These traits shouldn’t be too specific or only manifest in specific situations (such as ‘likes animals’), shouldn’t be overpowered (such as ‘Perfect’), and shouldn’t be based on their physical appearance (such as ‘pretty’). Virtues are things that are directly related to how your character behaves. Traits should be balanced, so all profiles need an equal number of Virtues and Flaws and should not contradict each other.

Kind -- No matter what Day is doing, she is always trying to help others especially her family and the few friends she has. She will trying to help those in need (even if they are only in need in her eyes and don't appreciate the help). Her kind words have been known to end family member feuds and heal hurt hearts (over time of course). People appreciate her as a peacemaker. This is why her maternal Grandmother, sent her along with her twin brother Dylan help her side of the family reconcile with her Aunt's side of the family - and has asked both of them to do similar things in the past. Unfortunately, she's little shy around people not in her inner circle of family and close friends, so outside of that circle it becomes really difficult to procede, at least with the peacemaking (and this is only with the peacemaking).


Outgoing -- Day is easy to talk to and very friendly, she is constantly seeking out people to befriend. She always seems to know when someone is feeling down or sad, and knows how to perk them up. It evens out when it comes to her snobbishness, and can sometimes earn her a true friend despite it. She loves to out of her way to cheer anyone up, even a rival.

Phobias and illnesses (physical or mental) are not viable flaws. Flaws are things that are directly related to how your character behaves. Traits should be balanced, so all profiles need an equal number of Virtues and Flaws and should not contradict each other.

Snobbish -- Day comes from a family with generational money and whom is not afraid to waste it. She can come off a bit snobbish due to the life she until recently was used to; private tutors on any subject she wanted, private chefs, yachts, yadda yadda. She seems think everyone lives this way and make offhand comments about things like her fifty favorite caviars, private tutors, private salon and personal chauffaur (all of which no longer applies to her. Many people think she brags and that she does it way too much. Some even think that she is making up stories for attention, because since she moved in with her estranged Aunt and Uncle - and their strange ideas about money - she no longer has these things. Because of these things, it is difficult for her to friends. She is always talking about her life with her 'real' family.

Head in the Clouds Mentality -- Day is so totally clueless. She until now has thought that everyone lived like her family - lived the dream of being rich. She often makes comments, sometimes remembering her life before Destiny City, and comparing it to now - or just trying to be kind, and does not realize horribly rude, and sometimes even cruel she is being! Other people are often so offended by her cruelty and annoyed by the fact that she does not even seem to realize that she is being cruel, that it in effect often isolates her from others and often keeps her from having friends. Sometimes, she doesn't even seem to notice, but when she does, she doesn't even understand why. Funny thing is she will go so far as to alienate her own family if not stopped.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Hair and eye colors cannot change from civilian to powered form, nor can tattoos or piercings. If your character has a tattoo as a civilian it will appear on the powered art, though will have a glamour to prevent people who have seen both from identifying civilian identities. Hairstyles can change between civilian and powered form; only Corrupted Senshi have vastly different hair between civilian and powered forms (their hair grows extensively in length!) Unnatural hair and eye color are perfectly fine, and there is no need to say they use hair dye or wear contacts - your character is free to have been born with blue hair if you want. Genetic heterochromia is allowed, but please consider that this is still considered an oddity in our game environment; you are free to play with it but we encourage players to be considerate of this fact! If your character is intended to have different colored eyes due to injury, please make sure you have done adequate research and include relevant information when you post a quest, or PM the shop mule, The Space Cauldron, for help! Because civilian art isn’t required for play, this part of the form will be helpful in making sure others know how your character appears if you don’t yet have art for them.

Senshi: Corrupted Sailor Kleopatra of Obelisks

Uniform Color: Main and secondary. Give us a hex code if you'd like. The bodices of Order Senshi (including chibis) will always be white, and the bodices for Dark Mirror and Corrupted Senshi will always be black. Characters should have at least one main color and one secondary color, but other colors can be used as needed.

Main Color: Dark Purple
Secondary Color: Gold

Reference pictures may be used in place of descriptions, but please be prepared to give extra detail if your artist requires it!

Tiara -- No Tiara - She is Corrupted
Choker -- A simple, small, thin, Dark Purple Choker
Collar -- Mantle like this Dark Purple, with Black Stripe
Bodice -- Plain Black Shirt, split open at the top just enough to see the black cracks and hole
Chest Bow -- Gold Obelisk Design set directly into mantle.
Brooch -- None.
Sleeves -- No sleeves.
Gloves -- No Gloves.
Buttbow -- Gold Sash
Bottoms -- Dark Purple Smooth Kilt with Gold Sash, with Gold Loin Cloth thing hanging down
Shoes -- some kind of sandal CC can design

Attacks: These are your senshi's abilities and should correspond to your senshi's sphere. Senshi unlock a new magical ability to use in battle as they rank up ICly! Chibi Senshi should have weaker versions of the standard magic, or should have magic that backfires. Corrupted Senshi are allowed to have ‘darker’ magic. ‘Late Blooming Senshi’ ages 21-27 should have magic written the same as other standard Senshi but should have IC effects or erratic magic. More information can be found in the tips below! Senshi magic should be written to have a duration, a range, and number of uses. Senshi magic should be written to have a base ability, however players can include optional effects, such as more powerful or lasting damage, that their RP partner can choose to be affected by! Senshi magic can be a buff or debuff, can be offensive, defensive, or create illusions. Senshi magic should typically only be one type of magic; it should not be a buff, and be offensive and defensive, for example.

Sailor Scout Attack: Obelisk of Darkness
Kleo puts her fingertips together in an upwards point and raises her hands to the sky, screaming, "Obelisk of Darkness!" A dark, spectral Obelisk shoots up suddenly at the target's feet from underground, knocking enemies within 10 feet back and away from her. This knockback can cause falling damage at player discretion. This attack can be used 3 times per battle.

Super Sailor Scout Attack: Obelisk of Burning Darkness
Kleo puts her fingertips together in a upwards point and raises her hands to the sky, screaming, "Obelisk of Burning Darkness!" A dark red, spectral Obelisk shoots up suddenly at the target's feet from underground, knocking enemies within 15 feet back and away from her. This upgraded attack also comes with a burning sensation, akin to a second degree burn wherever the obelisk contacts an enemy's skin, for up to 35 seconds. The knockback can cause falling damage at player discretion. This attack can be used twice times per battle.

Eternal Sailor Attack: Obelisk ...of Worship?
Kleo puts her fingertips together in a upwards point and raises her hands to the sky, then slowly moves one hand to her head and scratches it as in confusion, speaking the following - "Obelisk... of Worship?" A towering, glowing, eerie, black and purple Obelisk rises above the target which makes the target feel like they have to worship the structure. This pull to worship is distracting and creates a mental fog that makes thoughts sluggish which it difficult to focus on anything else, but can be broken by someone strong enough. This attack can hit all targets at her discretion up to 20 feet away, and the effect can last up to 45 seconds. Can be used once per battle.

Hello, Hawk! Your senshi's sphere looks very interesting, and I think you have some good ideas here,. I just have a few questions about your attacks. For your basic and super attacks, the knock back looks really good, but I wonder how the obelisk damages to it's target? Is this a damage done from falling / being knocked back, or something else. I'm also curious about the burn effect from the super attack. What does that come from? I also really like the direction you took with your eternal attack. There are just a few questions that I have for it. When you say "Can be fought, but can feel like treading in quicksand or similar..." is this a physical sensation or something more mental? Let me know if you have any questions or if I can help with the wording these attacks.

Okay so the Knock back on Basic and Super is taken care of and so is the quicksand on Eternal. For the burn effect on Super - my first thought was that the Obelisk itself was burning, but then my mind took me down another path: that in the lore of her Homeworld the Obelisks were used or Energy - not just for her world, but also for her alliances - so perhaps - the burns might come from a Corrupted Source of Energy? (Since she is a Corrupt Senshi) A thought to further this - is that the energy is Solar Based (or at least Solar to that World)?

Okay, so all of this sounds great, and I think we have a great start. The wording just needs to be clarified in a few places. It's all nit picky things, but we need to make sure that things are as clear as possible when stamping to make sure RPing is as easy as possible. You know the drill by now, though heart .

Basic Attack:
Kleo puts her fingertips together in a upwards point and raises her hands to the sky, screaming, "Obelisk of Darkness!" A dark, spectral Obelisk shoots up suddenly at the target's feet from underground, knocking enemies within 10 feet back and away from her.
