Amsvartnir was having a good time patrolling. He wanted to be more like Kerberos. Someone people could look up to. Come to, if they wanted to get out of the Negaverse, but he'd have to probably hit Knight, first. He'd just been incredibly lucky, running into someone who wasn't about to just thrash him, and begging for her help. He hoped he'd run into Folkvanger again, sometime, because she'd been incredibly kind to him. Scared and alone and leaving behind a life that had, while it frankly sucked, it was still effectively committing suicide on the person he'd been before so he could be reborn anew. It was difficult to grapple with, but he knew he'd left his parents for damn good reasons, and then left the Negaverse for even better reasons, so he'd made his peace with it, for the most part. And being so young, well... He could figure this out more easily than someone who was thirty could. "Party rockers in the house tonight," he sang under his breath, head bobbing with the song only playing in his head as he made his way to an Order aura. He wanted to visit with someone from his side, make some more friends. "Everybody just have a good time..." Noir Songbird is ilse a "party rockers" or "party rock is" XD

Ilse knew she had to look tired, but it felt like everything in her head was a mess. She was all turned around backwards emotionally, worrying about things with Monoceros, and the dead zone on her world, and....so many other things. She was so lost in thought that she didn't notice someone coming up to her until he was practically on her, and she could hear him singing under his breath, though she didn't recognize the song.
Briefly, she blinked, and turned, and looked up at him, and then there was a flash of recognition, and she gasped.
"Thorite?" She asked, "Wait, no, that must not be right anymore, I--it's Ilse, do you remember me? You helped me, in the Rift."genovianprince she's "has never listened to anything by lmfao," i think,

Amsvartnir blinked at her calling him Thorite, feeling strange like he always did when someone referenced who he had used to be. A person he wasn't anymore, not really. But... the rest of her sentence made him recall a memory, the leadup to the horrible feeling, and he lit up, beaming at her. "Ilse! Oh man, Ilse! You look so gorge in white!" he exclaimed, clapping his hands together excitedly. "You... wow, I am so happy you purified. It's so good to see you!" His arms flexed a bit in the air, trying decide if he wanted to pull her into a hug or not.

This was one of the first people she'd known on the other side, who had seen her since she purified. And he was purified too, and happy to see her--it made her eyes water, and she flung herself forward unhesitatingly for a hug.
"It's good to see you too! And you look amazing--do you have a new name? I thought Knights got new names."
She wanted to know what to call him. The right thing to call him, since he wasn't Thorite anymore.

Amsvartnir laughed as she launched herself into his arms, hugging her tight and swinging them both around like a long time coming reuniting scene from some chick flick. It was a bit silly, but he liked it, and she'd been his friend, before. "I did! I'm Amsvartnir of Cosmos," he said proudly, squeezing her hands tightly. "In the Norse myths, that's the name of the lake that surrounds the island that Fenrir gets banished to. It's beautiful up there. Cold, dreary, but so, so beautiful. I kinda like it that way, to be honest, even if the homes and things could use some cleanup." He chuckled a bit, grinning softly. "I'm so glad we both got out of that horrible place," he breathed, "It felt rare to meet someone as wonderful as you."

Ilse laughed, delightedly, all joy and life. This was amazing. She loved being picked up and spun, loved finding Thorite--Amsvartnir--and seeing him as himself, raster than as a servant of the Negaverse...it really was something special.
"Oooh, that sounds really neat," Ilse said. "All I've seen of my planet so far is this big garden, but ti has blue roses and these little blue bumblebees." Her eyes got a little misty, thinking about it. Her world. Her place. That special piece of the universe that belonged to her and no one else.
"Same to you," she said. "I just...we're free. And we get to choose for ourselves, now. And--and space is amazing, I can't believe that I might never have seen it if I stayed with the Negaverse? Awful!"

Amsvartnir beamed at her. "It's so amazing. I'm so glad I left, and that someone followed me out of there." He squeezed her hands again, heart swelling with pride in the both of them and happiness that they were both bettering themselves. "The garden sounds lovely. Hey! Why don't we visit each other's places? I'm pretty sure I can go back, right now. And you can meet my dog! At least, I'm calling him a dog, until I learn of a species name. Oh, wait. s**t. I think my ghost man might have told me and I forgot.... But! The point is, dog! Alien dog! And a ghost dog at that!"

Ilse nodded. It felt so good to be free, to know that she never had to bow to the whims of some jerk with too much power ever again. Or get her head screwed around by weird magic to make her forget that she had always wanted to leave, that the Negaverse was awful and scary, that...
That no one belonged there. That it was awful, that it broke people.
But she and Amsvartnir and Lysithea were all out now, and that was what really mattered.
"I'd love to come see your spot in space," she said, "and it'd be awesome to get to show you Ilse."
She extended her hand, the way she understood it was done.
"Let's go? I thin k it might be a little bit before I can go back to my world, but I'd like to see what you've got to show me!"
This would be an exciting adventure, she was sure. Going to space with a friend, getting to see yet another world...ah, yes, Ilse couldn't wait.
