The boy with his head in the clouds had been traveling for too many days. He had traveled so long that what he had dreamt as clouds were now nothing more than empty spots on the horizon. He had thought he could hear the animals guiding him on where to go, but even now their words were lost on him. Where had he wandered to? That was the first question on his mind. He had set forth from Tale and just started walking in a direction. Normally, the boy was quite good at directions, however now he felt as if that were not the case. With no familiar sight for him to track from it was about time he stopped to ask for directions. Anyone would do, though he hoped whoever he picked didn't send him too far off his mark. Whatever he decided that was.

"Heeeeeey is anyone around to help me become less lost? Maybe a bit more found," Barihn drawled, voice slow and dreamy as it always was.

Tada! I hope this is okay! Brought Barihn back so I thought I'd give him some love. He is a weirdo though so sorry if Visha hates him LOL

XD Visha is Gael's son, he's used to weird.

The drawl is what gained his attention. Visha turned his head to look at who had spoken and arched a perfectly plucked eyebrow at them. His dual colored eyes looked the stranger up then down before he offered a half smile. "Depends on where you'd like to be found." If the other boy wanted to be somewhere in Oba then Visha could get him there. He'd gotten good at travelling and knowing general directions on how to get there since he often when between the big city and the small town where his parents lived.

"The trees here look weeeeeeird. They don't speak the same. And the animals don't listen when I try to greet them," Barihn huffed, squinting up at the sky before looking back at the pretty boy. He wandered closer to him, spinning around him as he inspected him. He was interesting! Very pretty too! Barihn rubbed his hands together once, twice, and then let them drop to his side. "Where exactly is here? I was in the trees before and decided to wander, but then I think I wandered too far. Everything is unfamiliar and I have gotten turned around."

Barihn inched closer again to the boy, looking at the shiny jewelry adorning his wrist. Maybe he was someone important? Barihn certainly wasn't. He was barely anyone to be acknowledge. He held his own skinny arm next to his, comparing the lack of jewelry on his.

Now that was strange. Trees didn't speak. Or at least normal trees didn't. There was some debate about the Alk tree speaking or not. Visha only watched as the other boy circled him, his hand going to his hip as he stood his ground and more or less looked pretty for the inspection. "You're in Oba. Not many trees here." And the ones that were there tended to be closer to water sources.

"How long did you wander exactly before you noticed no more trees? Didn't the sand clue you in?" Visha was a bit concerned now that the other boy was an airhead if he'd gotten so distracted. Or maybe he was drugged? Moved without being told? Slept the whole way in a wagon?

Barihn staaaaaaared at Visha, tilting his head at him as he considered the question. How long had he wandered? Had it been days? He wasn't exactly sure how long it had been. Just that time had passed and he had suddenly lost the trees he was so familiar with. It hadn't exactly been upsetting to him, just more confusing than anything else.

"The saaaaaand? No, not really. I just was walking and walking and then suddenly I was lost. I was more trying to find a new place to nap than anything but nothing seemed right so I finally found you. Is that bad?" He didn't think it was so bad to ask for help, but maybe the boy thought he should have requested help sooner. Then he would not be as lost as he was.

He nodded his head a bit as he looked at the other boy again. Visha had never just walked that far without realizing it. A street or two maybe but not to a whole new city. And he was fairly certain this boy had gone at least that far. "Well, I'm not sure if I am the best for napping, so that's not helpful." He shrugged his shoulders. "If you want a place you can sleep then an Inn works best. Though I'm sure you can probably find a quiet corner for a little bit." Visha knew of a few places that weren't too shady and didn't have a lot of foot traffic.

"Well I have not tried napping on you, so I would not know if you are good for napping or not," Barihn said matter-of-factly. The thought of an inn was interesting. He had never been to one before. He'd heard of them from travelers that happened to wander by his trees, but never been to one in person. "Do inns require money? Or can I catch something and trade them for a room? Or maybe I can find a nice corner like you suggested," he grinned, rocking back on his heels.

"Do you live here? You look too pretty for sand," Barihn stated, looking around. "Maybe you can show me a tree here."

"Fair enough, but I dont sit still long so it makes for short uncomfortable naps." Visha shrugged his shoulders slightly. When the boy asked about Inns he had to tilt his head a little. "Uh, yeah. They take money. Not too sure if you can bargain for a room." He'd never done it so there was that.

The comment about him being too pretty for sand made him chuckle. "Thanks? I think. But I'm half Oban. Sand kinda comes with the territory. Plus I grew up here." Another chuckle left him but this time he brought a hand up to try and hide his smile. "My yard has a tree in it." That was the only one he could think of that people wouldn't yell at the boy for being in.

Barihn perked up at the mention of the tree, hands itching to climb up into it. He wanted to see a vantage point high above to get a better look at his surroundings. Maybe he could even see familiar trees from it, though that would be hard! Barihn turned and staaaaared at Visha once more, nodding once before motioning for him to continue.

"Is it a big tree? May I climb in it? Do you have friends in the trees? Like fuzzy animals? Do you want to climb a tree with me? I can teach you the best ways to climb,"
he grinned, wrapping an arm around him.

He thought about the question for a second, his eyes going toward the sky as he considered the tree. "Its not like a really big tree but you can climb in it." Visha looked at the other boy as his arm went around him. "I'd rather not get in the tree." It would mess up his hair or his clothes and he couldn't have that. The hybrid liked looking good.

Barihn frowned for the first time since he had encountered the boy, disappointed by what he had said to him. He was still excited to climb the tree, but not having a friend climbing with him didn't make it as fun. Maybe he wasn't actually supposed to climb the tree?

"Oh. Well that's okay. I don't want to force you into something you don't want to do. Maybe I can just nap under the tree," Barihn said a bit dejectedly, dropping his arm. He didn't understand why someone wouldn't want to be up high in a tree, honestly.

"Since you don't like trees, what do you like?"

A slightly amused smile lit up his face. "You can still climb it. I just wouldn't want to get dirty or mess up my hair." Visha had taken time to put his hair up and do his makeup before he'd left the house earlier so he wasn't going to waste the effort.

"Hm? Well I like shopping, wearing nice things, and looking pretty." One shoulder came up as he grinned at the boy and gave a wink.

"Oh. Well you're already pretty so you must not have to try too hard," Barihn stated as if it was an easily known fact. He took in the other boy's appearance, nodding approvingly. Barihn on the other hand looked like a wild one at all times. His clothes were torn, his feet bare, he used his fingers to mainly comb through his long hair. Barihn decided Visha was the prettiest person he had seen.

"Maybe if I find a way to climb it without you getting dirty it would be better. Just so you can see things higher. But for now hm....are you trying to impress someone with your nice things? Or is it for yourself?"

The compliment was like fresh water to a thirsty plant. It made Visha perk right up.

"For myself. I feel better when I look good." There was just something about a put together appearance that made him feel more upbeat about the day. "Although if it impresses someone then that's good too." He wasn't truly on the hunt for someone to appeal to but if it happened then it happened.

"By the way, what's your name?" He realized he hadn't gotten one earlier and it would be rude to continue on with the conversation without knowing it.

"A name! Yes! I'm Barihn," the boy grinned, holding his hand out and then thinking better of it once he realized how dirty it probably was. He wiped his hand on his half shirt, looking at it then to see if it was cleaner, but realizing it would take more than a quick swipe of fabric to deal with that. "Soooorry. I would shake your hand but uh....don't wanna make you less pretty," Barihn attempted to explain, hoping the boy didn't take offense to it.

"What's your name? Unless you want me to call you pretty boy the whole time?" He grinned, wandering around the boy to inspect him again.
