I thought that this would be a fun way to break the ice, add more activity to the guild and see what kind of music the members like for comparative and “new listening” purposes.

I’ll start.

“Sacred Lie” from Ten Thousand Fists by Disturbed

I’m sure everyone has already heard of this band, but I’m currently binging on all of their albums after doing the same thing with Metallica. You would otherwise see me listening to hardcore or emo bands such as old Atreyu or The Used.

I don't know if any of ya'll were hip to these guys back in the day, they only had one EP album that was 4 tracks long. Still something I come back to over almost damn near two decades later.

Some more old school stuff, this band is now called Violence to Vegas, but back in the day when I was rolling through the indie music scene I knew them as Failsafe.

I actually send a friend money via the mail back in like 2005 in Oklahoma where they were from to get this album. Its pretty good, also a short one. You can find the whole album on the youtube channel for the video I just linked.
