Nectaris had a pretty good support system at the house. Encke had become both a mentor and a friend really fast, and if there were questions about the war that he couldn't answer, there were also Knights in the family, and a Mauvian, and even some aliens.

It was a great network, and it had been perfect for Nectaris while she adjusted to her new life, but now that a few months had passed, she was finding that she wanted to branch out a little bit. She'd met a Moon Knight a few days ago. Now, she wanted to see who else was out there.

So, she struck out on her own and made a beeline towards the first Order aura she could find.

"Woah, are you a Star Knight?" she asked, rounding the corner and seeing the Squire in front of her in all his glory. There were pastel rainbows in his sleeves. There were stars on his buttons.

There were stars in Nectaris's eyes, too, but she puffed her cheeks out, focusing on the information she'd gone over with the others.

"Wait, no. I know this one. Cosmos. You're Cosmos, right? But, it's basically stars. You're outfit's so pretty!"

Oh. He was giving her the look.

That was how most people ended up looking at her, if they'd known her before. They all seemed so shocked that she'd left the Negaverse, which, okay. Apparently she'd been such an awful person that it was some big shock that she'd left. Encke had said she'd been having doubts, and Evan had, too, but people like Fulgurite and Cybele hadn't seemed to have thought that.

She did find herself tensing up a little bit, shrinking back and clutching her moon staff protectively to her chest. She didn't know what her past had been like with this dude.

"I'm Nectaris, now," she said, to clarify. "But, uh. Yeah. I used to be Sylvite. Sorry, I don't remember much, so,"

She squinted, and puffed out her cheeks, "Did I do anything mean to you? 'Cause if I did, I'm so, so sorry."

He'd left her a note asking her to come along? Okay, that had to be the cutest thing that she'd ever heard, and when his surprise turned into more of a smile, Nectaris was grinning right back.

"I mean, I'm starting to remember a little bit, so maybe I'll get there?" she said. It was snippets of school and work that she'd gotten so far, nothing magical, but she figured there might be a chance.

"You like the outfit?" she asked, and she twirled, which was one of her favorite things to do when she was all dressed up like this. Her butterfly cape fluttered out behind her, like it was actually wings. "I'm a Moon Knight! My Wonder's on the Sea of Nectaris, that's where my name's from."

There was a slight pause before she said, "I met a couple other people who used to be under me. A lot of them seemed like they didn't like the Negaverse, but I'm glad that you actually got out. You seem cool, way too cool for all that."

"You're too sweet," Nectaris shot back. Yeah, it was the kind of thing that she said to everybody, but she meant it just as much with every single one.

"Who's Albite?" The name didn't really sound familiar, but if this guy was important to Amsvartnir, he was already important to Nectaris, too. If she'd been this guy's General, she'd made a promise to support him and help him out. She wasn't about to break that just because she'd lost her memories.

"There's a couple people who I'm trying to see if I can get to follow me out. I can put him on the list, if you want?"

It was gonna end up being a long list, probably, but that was okay. The more people who could get out, the better.

"Amsvartnir sounds cool! Like, Norse mythology, right?" She didn't remember a lot of it, but she'd read some of the basics back in middle school, when the Thor movies had been getting popular.

It was probably bad to ask. Nectaris knew it was probably bad to ask, but her curiosity won out in the end.

"Entangled?"

Her head tilted sideways, and her eyes only seemed grow bigger the more interested she got.

"Nectaris isn't really connected to any mythology. It's, like, just what the scientists named that sea on the moon. At least, that's the Earth story. I think there used to be, like, flowers and butterflies there, if this is anything to go off of," she waved a hand at her cape, and the decorations on her staff, "So that's probably why the Moon people called it Nectaris? I'm not sure, though. I went up there and everything was so broken down it's hard to tell what was going on."

"Yeah, space is one of the coolest things about being a Knight, for sure," said Nectaris, but it was hard to dwell on that too much when she saw the way that Amsvartnir's face was changing.

"Hey," she said, scrabbling over to the bench right behind him and sitting cross legged on the other end. "First off, do you want a hug? I kinda wanna hug you," she said.

She'd have wanted to even if he wasn't looking all heartbroken. If they'd been close before, she didn't see any reason to not try to be friends right now, and for Nectaris, being friends meant hugs. Right now, though, it really looked like he could use one.

"I'll talk to this guy for you, if you want," she told him, "But, like, if for some reason that doesn't work out, if he doesn't see that you're the coolest, we can track down some Order dude for you who's, like, romance novel hot, and who cares about you just as much as you deserve."
