When they had arrived at the park, Albireo had instructed Siegfried to sit on the bench with Cybele laid out, her head in his lap, and she simply paced, wanting to hold the senshi but unable to calm down for long enough to just sti. SHe had called Ilse and been assured that both she and her friend with healing magic were on the way but…they were taking so long…and Cybele looked like she was in so much pain and…honestly. Ablireo couldn’t handle it.
If she could trust the hospital not to ask too many questions, she would have just taken Cybele there but…knowing them, she would have ended up losing her feet or succumbing to infection…no. Magic was the best way to handle this for the moment. Not for all things but…when it was something caused by magic…or chaos. Or…whatever.
She blew out a breath and marched back over to the two, sitting at Siegfried’s feet and stroking back Cybele’s hair from her face. “They’re on their way, honey. Just a little longer and you’ll start to feel better.”
If she could just know that the words were true…that would make things all the more better.

Siegfried had been doing his best to be gentle, but even slight movement jostled Cybele's feet and led to agony. Pain led to endorphins. Cybele had tried to hold on, she really had, biting her lower lip until it bled to keep from screaming, but eventually it had all been too much and she'd slumped into unconsciousness against Siegfried's shoulder. When she came to, she found that she was somewhere warm, somewhere light. Siegfried was holding her, and his legs were solid under her shoulders. Albireo was there, too, her voice soothing. It was only then that Cybele allowed herself to accept that this was real, not some other dream. Her feet still burned. She was still starving, still dehydrated, still filthy and exhausted, but underneath all that, her heart swelled with warmth. "You came," she murmured, her voice a raspy, barely-there whisper. "You saved me." A moment passed, and it looked like she might be falling asleep again, but instead she asked, "Who's coming?"

He did as he was told, a pang of guilt everytime Cyb had flinched or winced in pain from his movements. He tried to be gentle, though it only really ended up with her passing out on them. But that was okay. She'd come to, be healed and everyone would be safe. Stars, he was going to murder who'd ever done this.
Siegfried gently ran his fingers through Cybele's hair, watching Albireo pace back and forth waiting for the other senshi to arrive. Cyb's voice brought his attention down to her and he smiled gently.
"We did. We saved you," he said softly, still stroking her hair. Silver eyes glanced up to Albireo and then back down.
"Albireo has a healer friend she called. Ilse. They'll make you feel better." He just hoped the senshi showed up before Cybele got worse.

Ilse could not heal herself. In fact, her magic did the opposite. But she did know someone who very much could heal, and so at Albireio's request, she got Lysithea and went.
It sounded urgent, and so she made urgent pace, leading Lysithea across rooftops and to their destination.
"I cam eas fast as I could," she said, and she wring her hands together. "This is Lysithea, she--when you said you needed healing, she was the first one I thought of. She'll help." She turned to Lysithea, eyes wide. "You will, won't you?"
Not that she thought it was a question. Lysithea was too good for it to be.

Lysithea was always happy to help. Happy to be needed, and she hadn’t hesitated when Ilse had asked her to come and assist with healing someone who had been rescued, but…when they arrived on the scene and her eyes took in Cybele, laying on a bench in the lap of some unfamiliar blue clad someone, and Albireo sitting on the ground with the two of them, she felt a sudden sense of dread and discomfort.
s**t.
Of course she was willing to help. Of course she would help, but…of course it had to be Cybele.
But. They didn’t need to know she was feeling off kilter by this realization. They didn’t need to know she had any kind of history with Cybele…and honestly, maybe Ablireo would think she had no memory of either of them.
…If she could only be so lucky.
Quickly, Lysithea hurried over and took in the sight of Cybele. She looked horrible. Sick and hurt and…just horrible. “I’m Sailor Lysithea, I do have healing magic, what happened to her?”
Swiftly, she drew out a bottle of water from her subspace pocket and a bottle of painkillers. She doubted she could fix everything, not tonight. Not right away. So…a little extra help couldn’t hurt.
She handed the items to Albireo and let her eyes take in everything on the senshi again, before they landed on her feet and Lysithea drew in a sharp breath. “Ah.”

When Albireo looked up at Ilse’s voice, she wore such a relieved smile, but when she saw who it was beside her, when she heard the name, the smile faltered just a little…but then Lysithea was handing her a bottle of water and a small bottle of medicine. Oh.
She swallowed, looking to Cybele and opening the water bottle. “Help is here, honey.” Albireo murmured, unable to acknowledge Lysithea more than she had, more than a nod of her head at the items. She couldn’t just…forgive how upset Lysithea had made Cybele but. If she were going to help…so be it.
If she didn't help.
…Albireo couldn’t be held accountable for her actions if that was the case, but she held two pills to Cybele’s lips. “Tylenol, sweetheart. It’ll help the fever.”

Cybele forced her eyes open again as she heard more footsteps grow near. There was a woman in blue. That must be Ilse, and- Oh. Lysithea. Under other circumstances, just seeing the black-haired woman would have caused a mixed wave of everything from anger to guilt to swell up in Cybele's chest, but at the moment she was too tired and too distracted by the rest of the situation for any of that to really take hold. All of her focus was on the pills that she was handing over, that Albireo took and held up to Cybele's lips. It took more effort than it should to swallow them. What had happened? Of course. It was probably important they knew that. "Faustite caught me," she said, her eyes on the bottle of water now, her throat raw from thirst. "Burned my feet half off so I couldn't run. Said he'd leave them to rot all the way if I didn't answer his questions." She spared a look down, only to see that the redness and swelling had spread halfway up her legs. "I didn't answer them."

Siegfried kept petting Cybele's hair, eyeing the new senshi and the... tension that sort of cropped up in the group. There was some sort of history here, though it clearly wasn't great. He could ask about that later, when Cybele wasn't on the verge of losing her feet. He blinked at Cybele, the name Faustite ringing the faintest bit of a bell.
"What did he want to know?" he asked softly, squirreling away the name for later. As much as he wanted to get up and go hunting, Cybele needed his support more so right now.
Siegfried gave a reassuring smile to Albireo, his free hand squeezing hers gently. Cybele would be okay. She had to be, yeh? Lysithea had healing magic after all.

Ilse was quiet. She sat down next to Cybele, the poor girl that needed Lysithea's magic, and folded her hands in her lap. And she listened, taking it in. Fausatite. Of course it was Faustite.
He made her sad, in some ways. He seemed so lonely, and so angry. But he was....he was the type of person who always seemed to choose to be his worst self, and apparently, part of that involved kidnapping and torturing people. which made Ilse vary angry.
At least Cybele had survived. At least they were all here, and Lysithea was able to help.
Her hands curled into angry fists on her skirt.
"I don't understand," Ilse said, softly, "why he does this. Why he wants so badly to make people hurt. And hurt so pointlessly."

It was hard. So hard to have people talking about Faustite not only where she could hear, but right next to her as though…
As though she wouldn’t have issues with it.
She did have issues with it. More than she wished to admit but…now wasn’t the time. Now wasn’t the time or the place, and poor Cybele, no matter how much the Eternal senshi…bothered her…she couldn’t let her continue to suffer.
“Lysithea Healing Horn.” Gently, she touched her magic to Cybele’s feet, keeping her focus there, working terribly hard to block out what was being sad about her…
Well. About the person who she had thought was her brother.
She couldn’t understand why he had to be like this. Why he thought that torture and torment was a good idea…
What was he gaining from this? Was this what he wanted to do to those that she loved? Would she have to do this with Ilse? Sit here and heal her? With Malus…? With everyone?
She drew in a long, slow breath and then summoned her basic magic too, just to make sure that she was truly doing all that she could. “Lysithea Mending Horn.”Quote: Sailor Scout Attack: Lysithea Mending Horn Lysithea Calls out her attack, and a small unicorn horn made of energy appears in her hand. She can use this to mend all minor injuries, including small scrapes and cuts, by placing the tip of the horn on her target. The injuries will rapidly patch themselves back together, causing them to fade to nothing. The energy horn fades after the cuts are healed. The injuries can take up to 30 seconds to heal and once she has cast her magic it cannot be interrupted. She can use this three times in battle. Super Sailor Scout Attack: Lysithea Healing Horn Lysithea calls her attack, and a slightly larger unicorn horn made of energy appears in her hand, this one being about a foot in length. She can use this to mend all minor and moderate injuries by placing the tip of the horn on her target. The injuries will rapidly patch themselves back together, causing them to fade to nothing. The energy horn fades after the cuts are healed. The injuries can take up to 25 seconds to heal and once she has cast her magic it cannot be interrupted. She can use this two times in battle.

When Lysithea actually began using her magic on Cybele’s feet, Albireo felt a small sense of relief and leaned down to press a kiss to the senshi’s forehead.
Of course it mattered who had taken her. Why they had taken her and what they had wanted…but Albireo couldn’t quite help but think that asking all of these questions right now was…a little rude. Cybele needed to be healed. And needed to go home. Needed to be pampered and brought to absolute safety. They could figure things out after that not…not bring up the painful memories when she was already in pain but…
…But Siegfried did know best, and he was far more rational than she was, Albireo could appreciate that at the very least.
“...You really are strong, Ellie. You kind of amazing me. I’m not sure I would have been able to just. Keep strong under that kind of pain.”

The magic worked. Where Cybele’s skin had split, where Faustite had burned her down to flesh and bone, things started to it knit themselves back together. The people who were worried about Cybele might have noticed that some of her wounds were still there, that her ruined black skin turned to angry red and not healthy pink. The swelling, the infection, was mostly the same, and the two of her toes on her left foot that had taken the most of the damage had healed over, but not regenerated. Cybele hardly cared about any of that. It seemed like an eternity now that the pain had been a constant companion, heavy around her feet, always there, always getting worse. Now that some of that pain lifted away, it felt like she could breathe a little easier. It made her feel more certain this wasn’t a dream, because the pain had always chased her into her nightmares. “Thank you,” she murmured to Lysithea, and although her voice was still weak, there wasn’t something serious there. “I won’t forget this.” Albireo’s lips against her forehead brought a smile to her lips, a stronger smile now that the rest was better. “About Ganymede,” she told Siegfried. “But I think I’m going to go to sleep again.” There was more to say, but exhaustion was taking the place of adrenaline, and her eyelids were already fluttering.

He watched as the magic healed Cybele. Not to complete restoration, but enough where her body could heal on its own now. A few toes and scarring was little in comparison of her life. He leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss to her head. About Ganymede... one of the senshi who'd achieved royal status, right? There could be a few reasons the Negaverse would want a royal but that was better handled later. When Cybele was feeling better, and Sieg had done some digging.
He looked at up Lysithea and smiled. "Thank you, for healing her, he said. Siegfried gently began shifting Cybele back into his arms as her eyes fluttered shut. The girl needed rest, and cuddles from Albireo.
And maybe a trip to the urgent care for some antibiotics for the infection.

Ilse swallowed. The wounds looked truly awful, and even once Lysithea was done healing them, it was clear there would still be quite a bit of recovery ahead of poor Cybele. But at least she was alive, and with people that loved her. That was the important part.
She took a moment to reach over and gently put a hand on Lysithea's shoulder, squeezing. It had to be hard for her, hearing what people had to say about Faustite, what even Ilse herself felt about him.
"You should make sure you take her to a hospital," Ilse said, softly. Magic could only do so much, it seemed. But Siegfried and Albireo would definitely take care of her, and it seemed obvious to Ilse that she ought to make herself scarce for a little while. She would probably just be in the way of things. It was, after all, incredibly obvious to her that it wasn't just friendly concern that Albi and Sieg were displaying for Cybele. And she definitely did not need to be hovering around, making that sort of thing awkward, while Cybele was recovering.
"Lysi," she said, softly, "is there any space open at your place? Or is it too crowded?" She looked back over at Albireo and Siegfried. "I'll find somewhere else to be for a little while, while Cybele recovers with you guys."
It was fine, really. You didn't get in the way of true love like this! And Cybele would probably want space, not some weird stranger hovering around awkwardly. She would go back when it was all said and done, obviously, because she also couldn't make too much of a nuisance of herself by staying with Lysithea and everyone else for too long. And if there wasn't space for her there, she'd just....get a hotel or something for a little while.

Lysithea was happy that she could do even that little bit of healing…and it had made a big difference but…
It was still very clear that Cybele had a long road of recovery ahead of her and…honestly, that fact bothered Lysithea a little bit.
She was lost in her own thoughts but Ilse’s voice did manage to penetrate slightly and she blinked at the other senshi. Her friend. Her. Well. Her Ilse. “Oh, I mean it’s crowded but we can manage to find some space I’m sure. You’re always welcome, Ilse.”
Zac might not think so but…that was fine. He could deal.
“I’m glad that I was able to do something. If you need me, please don’t hesitate to reach out again. I’m happy to give all I can to see that she recovers…”
Honestly, it was the least that Lysithea could do, and she got slowly to her feet. “If you’re coming with me, Ilse, I think we should take our leave now.”
