Olivia had wanted to let Ellie know that she was back before she let Tavi know. Obviously Ellie would be the one most afraid of the fact she had been gone for several days…and she hadn’t yet talked to her friend since the last time she had her starseed taken…but.
It seemed as though Brielle was…either busy or not answering her calls and texts because she was angry with her…and…
If that was the case, Olivia felt horrible because of it.
So, with a sigh she entered the home she shared with her husband, a little sheepish from the fact that…she had vanished for a few days right after they had what amounted to a fight…and sheepish because she hadn’t bothered to try and call him first…but still a little…unhappy that he had felt the need to snitch to Cybele about the last time…it hadn’t been necessary, so…
At least she was going to keep her interaction with the other corrupt a secret for as long as she could, and the fact she was going to continue meeting her and being an energy source was…well.
Her own business.
Carefully, she walked into the living room. “...Hey Tavi! Long time no see.”

Not only was Olivia gone, but Brielle wasn't answering her phone either. He was long since past livid and now just terrified. Were they dead? Were they corrupted again? Were they even in the city anymore? He'd done his rage, had done his howling, and come out of it four fractured knuckles and one very damaged palm tree on his wonder.
Needless to say, Octavian Nicastro was Not Doing Well(tm).
The sapphire haired young man was laying on the couch, an empty handle of vodka haphazardly on the floor, and staring at the ceiling. He didn't register the door opening - couldn't bring himself to register the door opening. He'd imagined it over and over for the last few days that now he just though he was hearing things.
Even her voice didn't really bring him out of his haze. It was his just his head playing tricks on him, wishful thinking. They were gone and there was nothing he could--
Silver eyes flicked to the woman standing in his - their - living room.
"... Livilivilivi please for ******** tell me I'm not imagining this," he said, lurching from the couch with the grace of a man who'd not slept in a few days. He looked like absolute s**t, if he was being honest. Probably smelled that way too. Didn't care. He needed Olivia in his arms right now, right <********> now and if his mind was playing a trick on him, he was quite sure he'd go insane.
Tavi crashed into her, arms too tight and buried his face in her neck. She was real, she was alive, she was ok, ******** she was okay.

Olivia let out a soft yelp, her eyes widening from both the state of him, the smell of him…and how tightly he was holding her…and she realized…
…She had ******** up. Badly.
“Tavi, Tavi…I’m okay. You’re not imagining it…I…I was up on my homeworld. I…I was angry and…I guess I just…wanted you to sweat a little…I’m so sorry…I never…”
Never what? Thought he would worry so much? Never expected it to hit him this hard? Of course it would. She was an idiot. He had been worried when she had her starseed taken right in front of him..and then she went missing and…
“Oh my god. Tavi…I’m so sorry. I’m home. I won’t do this again, I promise. I’m completely okay…I should have let you know but. I was such a selfish b***h. I wasn’t even thinking.” She kissed him, every inch that she could reach, even if it was just his hair, the shell of his ear. He would get mad…but they would be okay.
They were always okay.

The fact she'd been on her homeworld was immensely reassuring because it meant she wasn't out in the City somewhere murdered or in the Rift being corrupted or what have you. The fact she'd done it to try to get back at him was a little prickling, but right now? He didn't ******** care. He didn't care at all. She was safe and kissing him, and real, and whole and thank the stars.
He realized he was sobbing when he tried to speak. "Please... please just... tell me... please. If you're angry. Or need space. Please. I can't.... You both weren't here and not answering my calls and I just..." his voice cracked as he spoke into the column of her throat. He was too relieved to be angry, even though by the stars he should be. He should be livid... but he had the injuries to prove that.
"I'm sorry I told Brielle - Cybele - about your encounter. But she adores you Livi, and deserved to know," he said once his sobs calmed to hiccups. He pulled back a bit. "Plus I had to give her my blessing to woo you." Not necessarily the best time to bring that up, but you know.

Oh god. She made him cry. Olivia felt like throwing up and after a moment she tugged on him, walking them both to the couch and pulling him back down on top of her when he pulled back. “Don’t you dare. Don’t you dare think you can just…I…wait what?”
Her brain wasn’t keeping track of what he was saying, and it surely wasn’t able to catch up with his change of subjects.
“...I…couldn't get ahold of her either. I was trying to call her when I got back so that I could tell her I was fine and…make sure she didn’t hate me…but…what do you mean to woo me?” A cold, hard lump formed in her throat and she tried to swallow down rising panic.
“...T-tavi. Is…are…is this your way of dumping me? I’m married to you. I…I’m sorry I…Please don’t leave me.”

Tavi let her pull him back, content to curl up with her on the couch and never let her go. He could feel the panic rise in her chest though, the way she swallowed and her voice tensed. Oh. It probably wasn't the greatest idea to bring that up, was it? Well it was going to have to be discussed eventually.
"What? No no... s**t sorry I've... had a rough few days..." he said, shifting so he could look at her face. "I'm not leaving you. We are not divorcing. Cybele has been good to you - good for you. She'd make a pretty great girlfriend for you. Plus she asked for my permission first. I uh..."
Tavi rubbed the back of his neck. "I'm cool with it. If you wanna date more than just me, you know? Plus Cybele is adorable and I think she'd look really nice on our arms, don't you think?]" He was trying to be cheerful about it and not have it be weirdly worded in such a way that it made her think his was breaking up with her. He just... wanted her to be happy. If that meant it was him, his wife, and his wife's girlfriend, then hey! That was fine with him!

Olivia couldn’t speak for a moment, but finally, finally she was able to relax and nodded, confused but..
“...Is…that something that…people…do? I…I’ve never wanted more than you, Tavi…” But the idea of…oh.
Now that it was something her mind could even start to think about…well. Olivia realized…she wouldn’t…it wouldn’t be something that she would be against…not even a little bit, and for a moment, her cheeks flamed and she huffed, embarrassed and confused and…just happy to have Tavi with her. “...We…we can talk about it later…but um. When did…when did you last talk to her? I thought she was just mad at me for losing my starseed…ah. Again. So I thought…her not answering me was my punishment or something…”
But if she hadn’t been talking to Tavi either…and obviously…those two had done a lot more talking than Olivia would have dreamed…but.
“Can you try calling her again? If we still can’t get ahold of her we could try her senshi phone…” But if she hadn’t been answering…
A strange new fear began to slowly bubble in Olivia’s stomach and she tried pushing it as far away as she could. “I’m sure she’s fine.”

Right. Talk about relationship things later, try and find Cybele first. He nodded and pulled out his phone to try calling her. Like his actual civilian phone because the ring on his finger - dormant for the moment - still kept alerting him that "oh you can do this upgrade! find a cat!" and he'd never actually... done the thing yet. But also she'd suggested calling the senshi's phone afterwards.
The line rang until it hit voicemail.
"I've got a bad feeling about this, Livi..." he said, already thumbing the ring on his finger.

Olivia drew in a slow breath and stood up again, holding both hands out to her husband. “Yeah. Me too. So come on. Let’s go out and see if we can’t find her, Tavi. Or…go out and just try to contact her by other means.”
At the very least…she could ease his fears about her losing her starseed again. That would bring a smile to his face she was sure.
“Hopefully she’s just really busy or up on her own homeworld.” It was the best case scenario but. The cold fear was still roiling in her stomach and. Well.
She hated it.
