Noah was walking with her camera in hand as per usual. She just come from an interview for a potion in the movie theater running the films. It was grunt work, but at least she could be near one of her greatest passions. She hoped she got the job, she wouldn't be the last of her siblings to get a job for the summer, though she was going to try to keep this one even during the school year, no matter how her parents might protest her focus need be on college. She frowned at them, turning on her camera and looking back at a video she shot of her brother's earlier in the week. It was an evening much like tonight and one was trying to help the other get ready for a date. It was so fun and silly and candid, her brother's really inspired creativity in her. She walked along all gangly limbs, smiling at the video and not paying much attention to what she was doing.

In times like this, Remarque found it was always easiest to gather energy. It was warm outside, comfortable enough that people could still be out after the sun had come down. He could slip between mirrors, canvas an area, take whatever energy he needed and then be on his way–usually before anyone noticed him. This general practice meant he could gather a little energy without completely ruining someone’s night.
It was going well, until he stepped out of a mirror almost right in front of someone.
Holding a camera.
Not typically good news. She seemed distracted, but it only took a second to snap a picture and he wasn’t sure that he wanted to risk maybe slipping back into the mirror before she noticed.
So, he decided to get in front of all of this. He could always drain her of all her energy and steal the camera if he needed to, he guessed.
“You should watch where you’re going. It’s dangerous this time of night. Not a good time to not be paying attention to your surroundings.”

Noah looked up, not startled, but instantly intrigued at the man in the very beautiful outfit. "Yes, I guess I should, but there's always a sense of adventure when one is faced with danger." She shrugged, closing the video on her camera. "I'm assuming I'm wandering to close to a set or something. I promise, I'm no paparazzi. Not to mention, if you're famous, no offence I have no idea who you are. You look awesome though." Noah gave a mischievous grin, "can I grab a pic with you though? I promise I won't post it until after the movie is released?"

Of all the things anyone had ever said to him, no one had ever mistaken him to be in a movie. It was a good cover, he supposed. Naturally, he was flattered.
But then, he’d always been prideful.
“Well, you’ve got such nice manners. Maybe we can work something out. We’ve got a set that’s absolutely phenomenal. No one else is around, do you want to take a peek? Probably should keep your camera closed for that, but I guarantee it’ll take your breath away.”
Even if he had to borrow a wraith to do it.
He turned back to the mirror. “If you aren’t completely impressed, yeah. We can take a picture together. But this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, if you’re interested. No pressure, though. I’ve just got some time to kill.”

Noah laughed and shook her head, "Seeing a set isnt a once in a life time opportunity. I want to work in the film industry so I'll see plenty, but you should be a salesman, you're really selling the opportunity." She didn't like the idea of keeping her camera closed, but she shrugged, but the cap on the lens and put the strap around her. I'll bite, but Im definitely still going to want that picture, I am not that easily impressed." She made a motion sweeping her arm outward, as if to say lead the way. She doubted this guy was going to show her anything truly impressive and her brothers would come looking for her if she was gone to long. She was supposed to be meeting them soon.

Remarque laughed, because he couldn't help himself. Naturally, he was pleased to have the opportunity to walk someone right into Mirrorspace. And, she made it easy. “You’ll see,” he said, maybe a little smugly, and turned to head back the way he came from.
“It’s not like most sets. Not like any of them, if we’re being honest. It’s pretty magical, I suppose.”
The mirror wasn’t far so he didn’t have to worry about creeping her out by leading her down a dark alleyway, and he paused in front of the mirror before he thought he was pushing his luck.
“Now, you’re not going to believe me unless I show you, so. Take my hand,” he said, and offered his in a gentlemanly fashion.
The mirror didn’t look like a door, so he didn’t wait to explain it. He put his hand on it, put his hand through it, so she could see that there was more to it than met the eye.

Noah was concerned at first, but even with the short walk and his explanation, she new a set when she saw one. Their were usually trailers nearby and lights and camera's and people. They seemed to be not headed toward any such thing. She was about to dip when he put his hand on the mirror they stopped in front of and it went through. So maybe the set had been moved indoors already. "Holy s**t .... how to you guys make it do that ... it looks like a real proper mirror." She had taken his hand yet, more interested in inspecting the mirror, but hell it looked anything like a damn door. "By the way, where is your trailer?"

They were in Mirrorspace, and Remarque settled into even more calm. There was one door in and one door out–and that was with him. Even if she lost her confidence or wanted to leave, she couldn’t. Most people didn’t know what was coming, which worked well for him.
Either the Mirror would accept her or Mirrorspace would take her energy and spit her back out somewhere in Destiny City.
“What, you want to see my trailer? That’s boring, let me show you something more interesting. Come over here,” he said, and walked across the Common Room to push open the giant set of doors that led into the throne room.
Mirrors of all sizes hung on the walls, and a pale smoke clung to the ceiling. Like the other room, this room was all white, with one notable exception–there was a great, black mirror in the center of the room.
Remarque gestured for her to join him as he approached it. “This is my favorite. Come put your hand against this glass, tell me what you feel.”
He moved aside so she could, but he wasn’t really interested in the temperature of the glass, he was interested in if she could pass through it or not. If the surface was solid, she’d wake up in Destiny City.
If the Mirror accepted her…
He’d have a lot more to show her than a phantom movie set.

Noah could not believe what she was seeing. A mirror for a door that lead to common room that was making her seriously regret not being able to take pictures. Her brother were going to be so jealous and this set was like her dream come true. She wondered if it wasn't finished though because there were no camera's or lighting equipment. She looked to him when he said his trailer was boring, "well yes I bet it is compared to all this." She grinned when he had more to show and happily followed him through the double doors. "Woah, dude this is so cool. My brothers are going to be so jealous I got to see all this ... is that real smoke." She eagerly went up to the black mirror, happily to stretch her hand out and touch the glass, "this mirror is huge." She touched it, but not really because her hand went through and she started laughing. "Oh its another door like the other," she said looking back to Remarque, "whats on the other side? Do I get to see?"
