Godiva couldn't believe she was doing this. But she was doing it just the same. She hoped her sister would appreciate the information she was trying to scoop up so she felt more comfortable about this.
Especially since she had really no choice in the matter if she was going or not. Godiva knew her sister was going to drag her kicking and screaming if she didn't just tag along.
She was looking for a Negaverse agent tonight. "Hm . . . I wonder where I should look for this Ashanite fellow." She stood there her arms crossed thinking as she looked at the bus stop map.

"Right here," Ashanite said.
Was it a little dramatic to drop off a roof just because he heard a Senshi mutter his name to herself? Yes. Would it probably startle her? Also yes. But once a theater kid, always a theater kid, and Ashanite couldn't resist a little drama in his performance.
"Did I hear correctly? You're looking for General Ashanite?"

Ashanite did startle Godiva some, after a small jump she looked a little bit awed as she could find his signature was rather impressive, and how he was dressed. "Ahhhh . . . yes, yes I was."
She rubbed the back of her head. "I wasn't expecting such a powerful signature." She said softly before clearing her throat a bit. "I was told about you by Monoceros. He said I should talk to you, because my sister's got me in a fair bit of . . . trouble?"
She gave a half unsure grin hoping she hadn't made a mistake and get caught up in getting something perhaps worse than her sister's got her into.

Ashanite snorted. "A Negaverse General is an impressive thing," he acknowledged. "I've bene lucky to be granted quite a lot of power. And responsibility with it."
He tilted his head to the side, and then made a thoughtful noise. "Monoceros, hm? He's one of my charges, yes." His eyes flicked over her, head to toe. "What sort of trouble has your sister gotten you into that Monoceros thinks I can help with?"
This could certainly be quite interesting.

"Well . . . She's hell bent on keeping a promise to a Negaverse agent that agreed to put a starseed back if she'd join."
There was a pause and the word vomit just unloaded on Ashanite, "The issue is, she's going to drag me either willingly or kicking and screaming. And I've been trying to -- well research what happens with this corruption thing. Monoceros said he was force corrupted and couldn't remember anything."
There was a pause as she sighed, "I'm also trying to figure out if we lose memories when we come over willingly and -- well I'd really like to make sure we have a network of people to lean on and a place to stay and stuff like that. I'm concerned how our parents would react to two daughters disappearing after our brother just fell off the face of the earth."
Godiva was rambling and talking with her hands at this point as she weighed the issues she had, "I mean . . . to find out his name was Victoria as a senshi from one of our other sisters infuriated my sister even more. So I think she's in that I don't give a ******** I will bring you down with me. So I don't think I can keep her seeing this rationally and while she'll go willingly I need a little more time and talking before I can just jump feet first into something willingly."
There was a pause, "I'm sorry I just rambled a lot . . . "

Ashanite lsitened, thoughtfully, and tilted his head to the side. It took him a little to catch on, but when he realized who this was, he grinned. How convenient--both sisters had, one way or the other, fallen into his hands. And with more ease than he could possibly have expected.
"You're Ingrid's sister, aren't you," he said. "I met her. And Monoceros and I talked about the two of you." He looked her over. Yes, he could see the resemblance to Victoria--he'd seen it in Ingrid as well.
"You should know--Victoria has been with me since he corrupted. I told your sister I could put her in touch with him; I'd be happy to do the same for you." And, anyway, he could answer one of her questions.
"You do lose memories when you come willingly," he acknowledged. "I did. I chose the Negaverse, and forgot my civilian life. It works out in some ways, though--I couldn't be that person anymore regardless." He exhaled. "However, if you are brought in unwillingly...you lose everything, or nearly everything. It can be extremely difficult, and very upsetting, as I'm sure Monoceros told you."

Godiva paused when he said she was Ingrid's sister. She sighed, "Of course my sister would've already found you as well." She leaned against the nearest wall. Her arms were crossed as she seemed to think about the words he was talking about.
"Oh? Yeah Monoceros told me she was going to take me kicking and screaming and I have no doubt my brash sister would do that to me." She looked thoughtful about the whole thing.
Her eyes went up to Ashanite, "So he is alive. . . ." She said softly wondering if she should even ask, "Does . . . he remember anything?" She was curious the whole way this thing works was interesting.
The information that they lost memories even when they came over willingly. Interested her and she thought, "Hm . . . I need to figure out a way to not crush our parents and two other sisters with losing us then. . . I wonder if Ingrid's thought that far ahead. . . ." She'd gone to a murrmurr as she was thinking about things.
"Hm . . . Yeah he did, he spoke about how you helped him feel like he belonged." She nodded thinking about what all Monoceros had told her about how he remembered nothing, and how empty he felt.
"Do we need to bring a lot of things or is the negaverse going to provide us a place to stay and some basic needs while we get settled?" She asked curiously looking at Ashanite. "I hate to know what my sister packed, probably everything."

Ashanite snorted. "Ingrid certainly seemed very determined," he acknowledged. He had no doubts that she would be joining them, and her sister too--it really was just a question of if Lady Godiva agreed, or if she had to be inducted by force.
"Unfortunately, Victoria..." Ashanite sighed. "He lost all his memories, as far as I'm aware." There was a little softness in his tone. It was difficult news, he knew; to know that a sibling was alive but wouldn't know you... "Sometimes, though, there's a....feeling, if it's someone or something important to you. Not really a memory, but. The ghost of one, I suppose." He sighed. "So he may not remember you, but he might still...know you, in a way."
It was hard, because this was a delicate place to tread--and words were Ashanite's specialty, but sometimes, they still weren't easy.
"The Negaverse will indeed provide you with your basic needs. A place to stay, food, clothing, a new identity. You'll be quite well taken care of. And what the Negaverse can't provide, well. I had time to plan, and I brought quite a lot of money over with me. So I'd be happy to fund some assistance for the two of you." Especially since they were Victoria's sisters.

Godiva thought about what Ashanite was saying and she nodded, "She is, she made a promise; though I don't agree with it. . . . it is there. I'm just trying to steele myself so I can - hopefully not fight."
She paused as he said Victoria had lost all memories that he knew of and Godiva frowned a bit. Her brother must've not known and fought to keep the family together. It made sense. "I see. . . " She said with a pause as she looked at Ashanite "Did you tell Ingrid this as well?" Her concern was more for her sister than for her own feelings.
"She's missed him dearly and . . . I just hope it doesn't hurt her too badly if he doesn't remember her." Godiva was rubbing her arm softly, and she knew she'd need to be there for her sister more than ever. "I hate to say it . . . but as much as I don't agree with my sister's agreeing to this I'll have to try and want to do this for her."
Godiva swallowed back her emotions and how she felt, as she listened to Ashanite speaking of what kind of provisions they had, "I believe I have some money in the bank . . . I'll have to draw it out. I . . . kind of want to leave it for our parents though, I know they're still struggling with the four of us that were left. And to lose three kids to this war. I just hope it doesn't break their hearts. . . . our two youngest siblings still need them."
Godiva paused and thought about it, "Which . . . I might could write them a letter, or sets of letters see if I could figure out how to get the post office or someone to deliver them for a while and make it seem like we're on a trip and disappeared that way. It might be easier." Godiva nodded to herself, "That . . . should be easier."
There was another pause and she looked at Ashanite, "I hope you won't go after the last two of our sisters. I don't think they're powered. And hopefully . . . . it'll be enough to keep our parents going"

Ashanite nodded, understandingly. Poor thing. Having to make these plans because someone else had made them for you. But there was no way he was going to let these two slip through the Negaverse's fingers; not when they were so close.
"I did tell Ingrid that, as well." He shook his head. "Concealing it would be....cruel." And ultimately pointless, when they would find out anyway. He reached out to put a hand on Godiva's shoulder.
"You seem smart, Godiva. Thoughtful. I think you'll do a fine job, settling things with your family. I....don't remember what I did for mine, but some of what I have left, feelings-wise..." He paused. "....I don't think I had a very good relationship with them, I'll put it that way." There was a wry bitterness to his tone. "But I'm not in the business of wholly destroying families. And I wouldn't know where to look, for your youngest siblings, anyway."

She gave a half chuckle, "Well . . . at least she has warning. Though I hope she just doesn't punch him on sight for leaving us. Even if he has no memory of why or what happened to bring him over."
She looked towards the hand on her shoulder and nodded, "Ah . . . I try to be . . . the uh . . . level head of the two of us? I don't really have an offensive attack; just more like a support so I have to do something to pick up the slack." There was another pause, "Not to mention someone has to be the more rational of the two of us."
There was a frown though as Ashanite mentioned he didn't think he had a good relationship with his family that he no longer remembered. "I'm . . .sorry to hear that. I know not all families get along well. And it's . . . sad." She did take comfort in knowing he wouldn't knowingly take the rest of their siblings away from her parents.
"Hmm, thank you Ashanite, I hope to see you again soon. Hopefully, I remember you and Monoceros then. But I should get going and see if I could maybe find my sister. I really do need to talk to her again."

Ashanite nodded, thoughtfully. Support magic--that was potentially useful in a good number of ways. He would look forward to seeing how it developed in the Negaverse; if she stayed a healer, he was sure there would be plenty of use for her.
"Find your sister," Ashanite said. "And do be careful. If you ever get into serious trouble, you're welcome to invoke my name to get any Negaverse agents off your back."
He bowed, again, and vanished into the night with a thought and a teleport.
Best to give her more time to think. Not too much, of course--he'd made that mistake with Whisler. But time.
