Kirby was in love with Alola. It was so alive. The weather was warm and fair, Pokemon peacefully intermingled with humans on the beaches and in the tropical forests of the islands, and there seemed to be so much activity going on at any given time. The air itself was an exciting mix of sea breeze, flowers, and tropical fruit. The young man felt at peace here and wished he could stay for a while, but the duration of his visit was not up to him. Right, he was on a mission. He was supposed to look out for anything of interest, and help to carry out a plan that he was to receive more details on later. He felt a tightening in his gut when he remembered that. Maybe he could slip away and escape the organization... but maybe he would be of more use to continue going along with their plans. Maybe the most help would be to tear them apart from the inside.
He had joined Team Rocket quite on accident. He had needed money, and was promised such in exchange for joining a group that was going to help the world... only it turned out their words had been deceitful and now Kirby was stuck. But maybe it would not be so bad. He had not been made to harm anyone or commit any crimes, not yet, and without the group he might not have the resources to have come to a place like this on his own. One must look for the silver linings in all things.
After all, he had not been given any commands yet, only a 'stand by' order, and so the day was his. He had just gotten off the boat in Heahea City, and had departed the dock area to come to the city proper. His Growlithe was at his side, and he smiled down at the Pokemon and ruffled the fur on his head. He would let his other two Pokemon out soon enough; he had kept them in their Pokeballs to keep them safe during travel. They were not as bold or strong as Toa the Growlithe, not yet; one day they would be, in each their own way, but for now Kirby felt they needed extra protection.
He spotted a grand and luxurious hotel and could not help but go and look at it more closely! He began to walk in that direction, with his Growlithe striding casually beside him, ever aware of the environment.

When Cindy had gotten to Alola, she had spent her time doing what tourists do, see the sights and other things. Seeing that she had missed the pokemon contest on melee melee, she need to fill the time doing something besides practicing for the contests. She did some shopping to be suited for the weather, she enjoyed the sharpedo ride but was a bit scared to try the mantine surfing because of her fear. She would try it out once she felt comfortable enough to do it. She also enjoyed some of the food there even the malasadas. Cindy was hoping that Drake would be come to Alola sometime to be with her while she was here for the contests. She would call and talk to him every night before going to bed.
Cindy was enjoying her breakfast with her pokemon in her hotel room. With Drake's help, she got a hotel room that was like a one bedroom apartment. She looked out at the window that was looking out to see the ocean and seeing Melee melee in the distance. She took a picture and sent it to Drake, saying her good morning to him on her rotom phone. She finished up her breakfast along with her cup of tea, she looked over to her pokemon seeing that they too also finished their breakfast. She cleaned up the dishes and then god dressed for the day, she then called everyone but Blaziken to their pokeballs. They then left their room and out of the hotel, she figured that it would good to get some cooridnator practice in so they went to look for a spot to practice at without disturbing too many people.

Kirby had been wandering the hotel enjoying the sights. It was so beautiful and luxurious! Not only the decorations but the people and Pokemon who were currently inhabiting it. He could get high on such loveliness and wondered what it would be like to actually stay here. Maybe someday. He exited and was wandering the grounds on the outside of the hotel. There were so many things to do... pools, arenas for Pokemon training and battling, various sports areas. It was while he was wandering here that a pink-haired girl was coming the opposite way with a Blaziken by her side. Kirby's Growlithe gave a low ruff of greeting to the other Pokemon. Kirby was admiring the Blaziken and took his Pokemon's lead. "Hello, good day," he said pleasantly to Pokemon and trainer.

As Cindy was looking for a good spot to practice at when Blaze heard a low ruff to them. Blaze stopped and looked down to see a Growlithe had came up to him with a greeting. He kneeled down in front of the growlithe and gave a response greeting back to him. Cindy noticed that Blaze wasn't following her and had stopped. She turned to see what Blaze had stopped for and seeing him kneeling down in front of growlithe that had approached and greeted him. She smiled, went back to Blaze's side and bent down next to him saying "Hello there little fella~." Blaze soon looked up at the trainer that soon spoke up to them. Cindy then looked up also seeing the purple haired trainer coming up next to the growlithe. "Hello, you must be growlithe's trainer" she said as she stood back up to greet the trainer properly. "I'm Cindy and this my partner Blaze~" she introduced herself and Blaze, "Blaze~." the blaziken greeted the trainer with a wave.

The Growlithe wagged his tail good-naturedly at the trainer and Blaziken.
"Yes, I am," said Kirby. "My name's Kirby, and my friend is Toa." He smiled warmly at Cindy and the Blaziken, and returned a wave. "Are you staying here at this hotel? It's such a lovely place. Sorry if that was a weird question. I'm new to Alola and have never seen anything like it!"

Cindy gave a smile in return to him, "it's nice to meet you both~." Blaze stood back up on his feet and stood next to Cindy as she talked to the other trainer. "It's alright, yes i am staying at the hotel here. Me either, it's so beautiful here. I'm new to Alola also, came here to participate in the pokemon contests that are going to held here Alola. I spent my first day doing a lot of touristy things here."

Kirby was excited by what he heard. “Oh, you're a coordinator?!” He exclaimed. He blushed lightly and got himself in check. “I am, well, I want to be—it's what I'm working on. I'm kind of new and just getting started on it, though.” He smiled a little nervously. “I know I'm a little old to just be starting, but better late than never, right? Where are you from, if you don't mind my asking? I'm from Kanto. Um, if you're going to be practicing for the contests, do you mind if I watch you? I understand if you want your privacy though.”

Both Cindy and Blaze were a bit surprised when Kirby excitedly exclaimed about her being a coordinator. "Ah yes I am~..." she said as she watched him recompose himself from his excited outburst. "It's never too late to start something that you are passionate about." she replied to his comment/question about starting late. The other questions didn't bother Cindy as she was kind of use to it. "It's okay, I'm actually from the Hoenn Region. I don't mind that you watch my practice, there were times were I did have some people watch me practice before while I was figuring out the my combinations of moved to use to make the best appeal that I can. Let's go find a spot to practice in." She then began to lead the way to the pokemon battle fields. "What inspired you to be a coordinator? Something about it must have appealed to you to become one." Cindy asked as she was curious about him wanting to be coordinator. Cindy found it as a more creative outlet from gym battle as they felt repetitive.

Kirby was happy to get to come along and watch this coordinator practice. “Thank you, Ms. Cindy.” He thought that when he got back to a computer he should look up some of the contests Cindy had been in and watch footage from it. It was even more interesting when you personally knew someone involved! He learned that she was from Hoenn. That made sense, given the Blaziken, but you could never be sure. Just because Blaziken evolved from a starter Pokemon did not mean it was her starter Pokemon. “Well... I guess I was inspired by watching contests on TV. They seem a lot more fun for everyone than battling. I know there's some battling involved, but it's more about creativity and less about knocking Pokemon around and having them get hurt. I like that they can show off their moves and abilities without causing harm, and I like seeing what the trainers and Pokemon come up with! You'd never see stuff like that in a regular battle. Well, almost never.” Some people got very creative when it came to events like the Pokemon League, but it still was not the same as was generally seen in contests.

Cindy listened to Kirby talk about what interested him in pokemon contests and she had to agree, it was far more creative than just straight battling to knock out the other pokemon. She still remembers when she did start out doing the pokemon league but then switched to contests for more freedom of creative form with pokemon. She still has her badges that she earned from the gyms that she did battle before the switch to contests sitting back at home. She nodded in agreement "I do agree with that, regular pokemon battles don't have the appeal that contests does to show off a pokemon's abilities." Soon they came across one of the pokemon battle fields and it wasn't in use, "this one will do~, ready Blaze?" She asked the blaziken in which he nodded in response. Cindy recalled back into his pokeball then put his pokeball into a ball capsule and putting a sticker onto the seal. "Alright Blaze~ Let's raise from the ashes and be born again~!" She called out as she threw the pokeball into the air. The pokeball popped open with flames taking a a form of a bird, it did a flip before landing then the blaziken rawred out and power posing to make the flames around him disperse and disappear.

“Plus, contests are more controlled and safer for everyone,” Kirby added. Pokemon safety was a top priority! Battles, especially the very intense ones that you saw at Leagues, nearly gave him a heart attack because he was sure the Pokemon participating would be seriously injured or killed. And yet, most of them walked away from it just fine and even enjoyed it, so it was not his place to tell them not to do such things. Just as long as it truly was the Pokemon's decision.
When they reached the empty battlefield, Kirby went and sat off to the side. Toa sat beside him, and Kirby petted the Growlithe's head. They watched as Blaze was returned to his Pokeball, and then sent back out amidst the fiery wings of a flaming bird. This was very cool already! Kirby's pulse quickened with excitement. He thought of bringing his other two babies out to watch, but they were rather timid and might be frightened by it, so he left them in their Pokeballs for now.

Marguerite Jessamond Beaumont was packing things up due to her mission orders from Team Rocket. 'This is crazy, to be honest. The fact that I'll be heading to Alola of all places...'. She thought as she never thought that she would be sent there. The scientist knew that it will be hard to move around on the different islands due to her cousins that lived there full time. "This is going to be interesting trip in several ways Rémi," she told her shiny Lucario that was sitting on the love seat. Chandelure was floating around the apartment and was excited to be going back to Alola where it was from. A sigh escaped her lips as she thought back to the last time she was there when she was twelve years old....
'This will be an more intense trip than that one. Here's to hoping that Selene isn't a Ranger......' She thought even though she knew that her cousin was one.'Plus, how will Sly react to being so close or near Selene? I still want Sly for myself but know that won't be likely. It's going to be bloody chaos when and if they meet. If they meet in front of other Team Rocket members.... For the second time in my life, I pity Selene. Considering what Mama told me about what happened long ago....Guilt went across her face for a moment from remembering summer camp when they were only ten years old. Jessa never thought that her cousin would give in to that temptation. Selene wasn't the only one to fall prey to it but Marguerite never took it as far as Selene did that one night.
There was a lot of bad history between Marguerite and Selene. Yet, it most of it was Jessa's fault. It didn't help when everyone in your family tell you to be more like your Cousin Selene all the freaking time.... Jessa hated hearing that and that helped fuel the fire for her hatred for her cousin all these years. It has lessen some thankfully in the last two years and it also helped that she had been away on science mission trips with Team Rocket. 'Mind you, Selene had tried to reach out with an olive branch several times before now yet I refused it. ' The Team Rocket scientist thought as she closed the suitcase that she had finished packing.
She was going to have to disguise herself as she didn't want her family in Alola to know that she was there. The rest of her family thought that she was in Galar, on a science research trip there.'The main reason I didn't go straight from Galar to Alola is get more disguises. Plus more of my personal hacking hardware to reroute everything so it will all to be logged as coming from Galar than Alola. Then there's doing more research on some of my co-workers. Something feels off about Harrison the one time I interacted with him before now.' Jessa thought to herself as he had called her Selene at first.
'Mind you, he's wasn't the only the only person in Team Rocket to call me that. ... It's aggravating that they call me by her first. Mind you she is the most famous of the two of us and that we do look exactly alike. At least I can punish the younger grunts who keep calling me by her name.' She thought to herself as that was fun to scare the new recruits. She opened the cardboard moving box and began placing some of her electronic devices inside, placing them between layers of clothing or towels. Jessa wanted to have a clean system with out it being somehow tapped into the Team Rocket system at the studio apartment that she will be staying at in Alola. 'I don't want to be hanging with them all the time or I would go nuts. Glad that Iolana was willing to help me out and willing to keep my secret of me being there from my family. The apartment was on the outskirts of Konikoni City and off the main path. She liked the location for that and there was a ferry pick up close by for traveling.
Once Jessa was done with all the packing, she fixed some shrimp curry for breakfast. While eating her breakfast, she was checking her email on her laptop. 'A new e-mail from Harrison? I wonder what he has to say... Jessa thought before opening the email. It had a video link with a short message that he hoped that she would enjoy it and to keep it between them for now. 'Enjoy what? Oh, today was Sly's and Monitor's first day on the island, even though I'm already in a new day due to the time difference. So who got into trouble that he got a video of? She wondered as she took a bite of her curry. Then she clicked on the link and began to watch the video. Marguerite almost choked on her curry after seeing Selene give Sly a running round about kick to the face.'I'm impressed that she was able to take him down like that. I wonder how long they spent time together today. Plus, does his partner know that Sly interacted with Selene? I know Morticia would have already text me if she had a run in with her already. Why would he send this to me of all people? Harrison did say to keep the video between us so... Wonder how much he did video since this is a short one?' She thought as the video ended not long after Selene was sitting on top of Sly.
Then Marguerite began texting Morticia, wanting to find out if she knew of Sly's interaction with Selene. She wasn't going to ask her alright though, with Harrison saying to keep the video between them for now.
'Hey Morticia, how was your day in Alola? I'll be heading that way soon. Did you find any shinys yet? It's been a long time since I been out there. I got my shiny Noivern on Poni Island.'
Marguerite ended the text and sent it on to Morticia. She continued eating her meal while watching the video again.

Marguerite had emailed Harrison back when the text from Morticia came in.'Hmm, if she had already seen my cousin, she would have mentioned it. I think, but sometimes she's more focus on getting those shiny pokemons to sell. I've done some research to find out that few of the shinies that she stolen in the pass have been recovered and with their original trainers. Highly doubt that she knows that though.' Jessa thought to herself as she had used her hacking skills to find that out. 'Those skills are great addition to my science skills. Also another reason why I want my own place to stay in Alola than having to bunk with the rest of Team Rocket at the base there.' Marguerite thought to herself as she finished the last bit of her breakfast. Then she responded back to Morticia's text.
'A mark already? Is it a shiny? Can't wait to hear more about it later. You'll see me soon enough Morticia. I'll let you know when I arrive there. Have you or the Brute come across the "Princess'' yet?'
Marguerite knew that Sly had but didn't know if Morticia had. She figured that Sly wouldn't have told her about his encounter yet if he didn't have to... She wasn't going to tip her hand since Harrison said to keep silent about the video clip. It was natural question for her to ask anyways as Selene was her cousin.'I wonder who it was that decided that Morticia and Sly would be a good match up. They do work well at times but they are at each other's throats at other times, or most of the time... Jessa thought before hitting the send button.
