Dasha’s mind was still spinning from…well. Everything. Valjean had been…honestly nothing like a murderer should have been, and the fact that her heart pounded fit to burst when she thought of him…made her wonder if perhaps she should see a doctor…or if she was just…infatuated.
…Truthfully, she was most likely infatuated but.
She sighed, making her way into the house and flopping down on the couch in the living room, pulling one of the cushions over her head.
…Why was it only Galyal who she could talk to…sure they were twins, but sometimes they were as different as…well. Anything.
It was at times like this that she truly missed her brother. Feliks would know what to do. And what to say, though…by now she truly had to wonder how much of that was even true and how much of that was the brother she had invented to fill the void left behind when Feliks had disappeared…not a comforting thought but.
Pulling out her phone, Dasha flipped through her camera roll until she landed on a selfie of herself and Feliks. They both looked happy. God, she hoped that he was okay. And not just…dead and rotted in a ditch somewhere. Murdered or…
Dasha paused and sat up, her eyes growing wide, horror filling her mind at the very thought.
…Oh…oh God. What if…he was just dead somewhere. If someone had taken his starseed…if…
Darya didn’t realize that she was even crying until she felt her phone crash against her toe, the pain shooting up her leg and causing a sob to escape her.

Kata had walked in when Dasha was visibly upset. She'd had added a few more band aids to randoms cuts. Thank goodness she still skateboarded or it'd be difficult to explain.
Ever since Feliks had disappeared . . . . it had been hard on everyone but even more so on Dasha and Gayla. "Dasha . . . " She said softly walking over to her sister and sitting down pulling her towards her.
Kata didn't care if she was the younger sister. To see the moment of horror and just busting out into tears. She wondered what the elder sister had been thinking of that could've triggered this. " . . . you were thinking about Feliks again weren't you?"
Kata had done her best to keep a low profile of her feelings trying to do her best to search for their brother on her own. Though so far . . . she'd not been able to get very far. She needed help but there wasn't much of anyone to turn to.

Dasha looked up, and hastily wiped at her face. “s**t. No, Kata, I’m sorry. I know I’m a broken record with this. I’ve been trying so hard to not…ah…” She sniffled and wiped her nose on her sleeve, forcing a laugh. “...I just. What if he’s dead? He must be dead. He wouldn’t have just ran off…I can’t…I just.”
She missed him. And she was tired of being the one who cried so much. “...what do you think happened to him? He wasn’t…he didn’t do anything bad. He was wonderful. Fantastic. Good...”
Looking at her sister, Dasha didn’t expect an answer, and knew that there most likely wouldn’t be one. But these were questions she hadn’t really…expressed out loud to anyone before. And with the new thoughts in her head…they seemed all too likely.

Kata looked around as Dasha talked about Feliks. "You're putting your feelings in a bottle and keep spilling over. You can't do that Dasha, it's not healthy." She was looking a bit crossed as she spoke because she knew it bothered Dasha but the more the twins bottled it up the harder it would be.
There was a sigh as she was asked what do you think happened to him. "Lets take a walk." Kata did not want to talk about this in the house. She didn't know who was listening and she'd tried to protect everyone from the true knowledge.
"I think it'll be easier to answer that . . . if we're some where less . . ." She searched for the word she wanted and ended with a half hearted "Stuffy." It wasn't the word she wanted but there was a soft breeze outside and it felt nice for a spring day.
If she had to talk about this -- she'd rather do it outside because depending on how things went was if she told them about what Feliks had been up to. She took her sister by the hand and tugged her so they headed outside.
"I think he's fine. You and Gayla would know if he wasn't alive. You two have that weird twin sense thing going on half the time no one knows what you two are talking about and yet you each finish each other's sentences."
"What's brought this line of thinking on anyways?" Kata seemed curious as to why suddenly Dasha was thinking about such thoughts about their brother.

Nodding, Dasha pushed herself up and wiped her eyes once again, huffing at the idea that she and Galya would know if he wasn’t alive…
“Sure we have twin senses, but it doesn’t mean we can like. Tell if our brother is still alive or not. If that was the case I would have found him and brought him home already.”
Following Kata, Dasha held on to the younger girl’s hand, now beginning to pout a little. “Why are we out walking, Kat. Did you just want to show off how much I’d been crying like a baby to the world? What’s going on? You always…get a weird look when he’s mentioned…”
A thought struck her and after a moment, when they were safely outside, she tugged her hand away from Kata. “...Do you know something, Kat? Do you know where he is?”

Kata sighed when Dasha asked if she knew where he was. She turned to look at her sister and frowned. They always knew when she was hiding something but she'd been able to hide for this long. "I'm not showing you off to the world. We needed somewhere to talk - - somewhere that . . . had less ears to accidentally be overheard."
She scratched the back of her head uncomfortable like before resting back with her arms crossed. As if she'd been trying to protect everyone. "He was part of this . . . weird war thing going on."
She dropped her voice and her eyes not really interested in looking at Dasha for a reaction. While also trying to figure out how to keep who she was hidden. "I'd went out to that sleep over - - what was that a few years ago now? He'd taken me or followed me I can't remember either way we ended up walking together. You know how he is - dotes over us did everything for us to make sure we had it better."
Their parents tried but there was only so much they could do with a family their size. Even Feliks knew that and he'd given up so much for them. Kata couldn't help but wonder sometimes if he ever had time for himself. "Well . . . we'd ran into a strange monster thing. He'd told me to run - get away he'd be fine. You know the whole big brother protects us thing?"
She paused for a second, "I . . . I probably shouldn't be telling you this but he was what's called a Sailor Senshi. Victoria was his name. I didn't run. I stayed used what I could find to try and help him. It was why he was getting hurt so often. Not the skateboard that he always blamed. He wasn't doing those insane stunts."
"I really don't know the last time he had time for himself Dasha. He told me to forget what I'd seen . . . but I knew he'd been sneaking out of the house. Always blaming it on a skateboard even those deep gash's he'd get sometimes. Though I mean to be fair he did finally go with mutant cat attack . . . if you remember."
Kata was trying to search her memory. "He's alive. I know he is, he's too smart not to be. But the trail just dropped off. I've been looking for him . . . since he disappeared." Kata gave a half-hearten smile. There were some details she figured best left undisclosed.

for a moment, Darya couldn’t quite take it in, and finally, she simply atared at her sister blankly. “Wait…wait Feliks…he’s a senshi too? Are you serious right now?”
It felt as though her head had exploded. Her brother. Was a senshi. Good lord. That meant that most of their family were senshi and…
“Why would he keep that from me? What the ********!” As some of the stunned confusion began to lift, anger began to fill the gaps. “…I could have helped him. We could have…I…we could have gone together.”

Kata paused, "Dashhhaaa" She whined softly.
"He was trying to protect us." She coo'd trying to soothe her sister's sudden anger. Though she'd been wondering when that stage of grief would hit. It took longer . . . a lot longer . . . probably because she'd been hiding the truth.
"He didn't even want me to know." Though as she was trying to calm her sister something made her pause when she said too. Was Dasha one? She wasn't going to ask . . . no - no . . . she had enough on her plate at the moment. They could talk about that later; it wasn't important.
"He was the oldest of us all. You can't tell me you don't understand why he wouldn't want US out fighting in some convoluted war that started who knows how long ago and is still going on."
She looked at Dasha, "You know he loved us too much to let us know and have us out there. What happens if we fall victim? What happens to mom and dad, to Zoya. To Gayla? Pawpaw and Mawmaw. I mean come on."
There was a sigh she was trying not to be the angry one she was trying to control her emotions she'd been working on it since he'd left, "This is why I didn't say anything when he disappeared. I thought I could bring him home and stop you guys from hurting and show you things would . . . some how be alright. I knew you'd jump to every conclusion there could be. You guys always do."
She was rubbing her arm at this point disappointed in herself. "I just hit a brick wall and haven't been able to jump over it." She was trying not to lament her choices, "I - I . . . just wanted to be able to be the one to bring him back . . . . " She knew there was pain it caused but . . . it had to be done right?

“You…should have told us, Kat! It’s a big city and we could have all searched together. All kept an eye open for him…we…”
Darya was growing more unhappy by the moment.
“...So you…you wanted all the glory for yourself? What if…what if someone from the Negaverse had him? What if he’s dead now? What…”
She broke off, face pale and lips compressed very tightly to hold back even more accusations. “If you had information, you should have shared it, Kata. This wasn’t your secret to keep. He’s been gone for years, and telling us might have helped. I didn’t. I never knew you were so selfish.”
Tears began to spill from her eyes once more as she imagined her brother…Sailor Victoria? She would have to keep that name in her mind…but. He could have had help. Both she and Galya could have helped him…if their sister hadn’t…if she had just.
For a moment, Dasha saw red, and she took a few steps towards her sister and smacked her hard on the cheek. “...I have never been more disappointed in you than I am now. I can’t. I don’t even want to talk to you right now, Kata. Leave me alone.”
And with that, Dasha hesitated, and powered up into Ingrid right there, in full view of her sister, giving an icy, detached stare before darting off into the city.

Kata was trying not to bear her teeth or get aggravated at her sister. This was why she wouldn't say anything. This was precisely why. "He's not dead. There'd been some evidence if there was. They would've left him laying there lifeless. They don't hide body's Dasha."
Her hand clinched into a fist as her sister called her selfish and finally smacked her. Kata held herself back; she knew Dasha was doing this in grief. She didn't want to just haul off and punch her sister though she was very close to it. . . that was . . . before she powered up and disappeared.
"UGHHHH YOU'RE IMPOSSIBLE!" She yelled after her sister, "THIS IS WHY I WOULDN'T TELL YOU TWO. YOU BOTH ARE SO IMPULSIVE SOMETIMES!"
She didn't care who heard her or would walk past staring at her when she screamed after her sister. She sighed heavily. "I hope you don't do something stupid . . . to find him Dasha . . . ."
She rubbed her cheek where Dasha had slapped her. "Even if I do get frustrated . . . I don't want to lose you too . . ." She whispered walking towards home. Maybe it was time to start looking into getting an apartment.
