Hobbies:

Art - Chad loves all kinds of art. He loves to draw, he loves to paint, he loves to create things from nothing. He looks forward to art class, where he has access to more supplies to express himself, but has been known to draw extensively in the margins of his notebooks. At recess he will draw with chalk or even scrape rocks against the pavement. He picks up things that others might see as trash, such as buttons and soda can tabs. He hopes to one day learn how to be a great painter, or maybe get into fashion design, but for now he will accept using the resources he has available to him.

Collecting - Jewelry, trinkets, rocks. It seems as though anything Chad can get his hands on he wants to collect. And with those collections, he uses them to make more art. He rarely takes his collections home, but instead uses them to decorate places around the city, or tries to hide them under bushes in the park. He knows he might never see his treasures again, but he cherishes them while he is able to.

Virtues:

Sweet - There has never been a mean bone in Chad’s body. He cares deeply about others, whether they are other people, animals, or even plants. Everyone and everything deserves a chance at a good life. While he knows there is not much he is able to do on his own, he tries to help those he can, whether it’s pouring a little water on a wilting plant, or sharing some of his lunch with a persuasive squirrel. He doesn’t speak ill of others, believing that they must all be going through stressful situations and should be given another chance.

Creative - He has the mind of an artist, and can often be seen daydreaming about things. Chad is good at solving puzzles and problems that require thinking outside of the box. This skill doesn’t always translate well to his tests or homework with inflexible answers, but when it comes to games and other life problems, he does his best to make sure every option is explored.

Resourceful - Chad is often left to fend for himself. It builds character, so he has to keep himself entertained, especially over the summer when he doesn’t have school to keep himself busy most of the day. To get money, he sometimes asks neighbors if he can pick up sticks around their yard for a few dollars, or weed their gardens. Sometimes he tries selling some of the jewelry pieces he makes, but often gives them away, or they’re unwanted. Even with the odds against him, he still finds a way to survive.

Flaws:

Sensitive - Normally, being sympathetic and empathetic could be seen as a good thing, but for Chad, he is dominated by his emotions. Tears often follow no matter if he is sad or scared or happy or excited. He does his best to push his emotions aside in public, but it is bravado at best, and forcing himself to laugh and smile is easier than explaining why he cries so easily.

Insecure - When others are happy, it makes Chad happy, but when it comes to himself and his own accomplishments, he is very unsure of himself. He never knows if he is doing enough, or if he meets others expectations. Even if he's told that he is, it is difficult for him to believe it because he can see his own flaws and failures.

Manipulatable - Being obedient and trusting is a problem for Chad. He desperately wants to see the good in others, so if he is told something, then he believes it is with the best intentions. It is easy to convince him to do things, and even if his gut reaction is that something is wrong, he will still often do it anyway, as long as those things aren’t illegal. Although he may be convinced that things that are, are actually not. He will likely hesitate if told conflicting information, and will likely have a distressed emotional reaction to his own indecision.

Hair: Between moonlight and honey blond. Cut short and boyish.

Face: Freckles most noticeable over his cheeks.

Knight Title: Ephesus, Page of the Moon

Wonder Description: The main building of Ephesus is a large estate, hexagonal in shape, with domed towers at each of the six corners. The exterior is mostly white, but decorated with various purples and blues, accented with the gold hexagons that also tile the domed towers. The center is open to a large courtyard filled with mosaic tiled floors and walls, fountains, and flowering plants and trees.

After centuries of disuse, the fountains have grown over with algae, and the plants have grown wild. In some places it’s impossible to see the mosaic tiles.

The grounds of Ephesus are divided into six sections, alternating flowering gardens for apiaries, and fruit orchards. Paths that once led to fountains, decorative statues, and apiaries have been overgrown or lost to time.

The estate was once set up for gathering and studying the medicinal properties of honey and the various plants that grow on the grounds, as well as provide the resources and usable goods to other locations on the moon. This included fresh produce from the fruit trees, candles from the beeswax, and honey. There is evidence they had mobile apiaries to bring to various locations on the moon in need of pollinating.

Uniform:

Top -- Light blue, button down, long sleeved shirt. The sleeves have moon cufflinks with large ruffles at the end.
Bottoms -- High waisted shorts in purple with six gold buttons down the front and tied with a white ribbon and bow on each side.
Gloves -- No gloves.
Belt -- No belt.
Shoes -- Oxford style ankle boots in purple, laced with a white ribbon. Moon symbol on the side.
Shoulders -- Nothing.
Accessories -- Ribbon around the neck with the Moon symbol, bees, and honeycomb pattern. Hairclip with Moon symbol.

Channeled with the power of hope, Ephesus uses his magic to heal minor burns and wounds. The longer he channels his magic, the faster the wound is healed. Moderate and greater burns and wounds can be aided, but not healed completely.

The person experiencing the magic will experience the distinct taste and smell of honey. Those who are usually adverse to the smell and/or taste of honey won’t find it unpleasant. It has a calming effect, and fills the target with hope that everything will be okay.

Can be channeled up to 45 seconds.

Knight Weapon: A more ornate golden honey dipper.

Channeled with the power of hope, Ephesus uses his magic to heal moderate burns and wounds. The longer he channels his magic, the faster the wound is healed. Major burns and wounds can be greatly aided, but not healed completely. He cannot heal life threatening injuries but he can stabilize them until proper medical treatment can be acquired.

The person experiencing the magic will have the distinct taste and smell of honey. Those who are usually adverse to the smell and/or taste of honey won’t find it unpleasant. It has a calming effect, and fills the target with hope that everything will be okay. Any anxiety or emotional distress the target is feeling will also be tempered, or eased completely.
