Ethan CarterHomeless | Mixed breed Inu | 18 | Male | StraightEthan sighed as he walked down the street, he had just finished working for low pay at a restaurant as a cheap bus boy. He had just barely enough to get buy working odd jobs and now that he was 18, he didnt have to worry about the foster care system coming after him. Either way, they didnt care about someone like him anyway. He pocketed his small earnings and decided to cut down the alley of a rather fancy hotel, sometimes they would be throwing out food that was cooked but wasnt ordered from breakfast. After working a midnight to morning shift, it sounded good to get some 'fancy' food. However as he walked by the fancy building, he stopped, his tail perked up as his ears perked, turning as he thought he heard the sound of a person struggling. However then his ears perked up as he heard someone speak above but as he looked up expecting to see someone yelling from a room, he saw something else. A woman dangling from something, and she suddenly let go?! He was under her and tried to catch her, which he did, but she landed on him as he was now on his back with her sitting on him basically. He groaned, but looked up at the girl, "Why did you just jump from a window?! Are you insane?!" he questioned looking up to see the rope she had been holding onto had been sheets from what he assumed was her bed.

 Princess Hera
"I'm not spoiled! I swear I'm not..." ╔════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ Hera had been taken out of the castle with her father at her insistence. He was going to a diplomatic meeting and didn't want to bring his teenage daughter but she was stubborn. So when she finally got her way she was overjoyed and she had to dress up in a way that didn't attract as much attention. She got advice from her personal maid and they settled on a travelling outfit that didn't have sparkle and no crown. Her dress was still puffy but it was quite less so, surprisingly she liked it more than the usual outfits. She had on tall boots to cover up her shins, her fathers suggestion to "protect herself" in case she fell down. Which, wasn't all that of a bad idea, because she was very accident prone.
When they got to the hotel they were ushered up into the nicest room they had and her father had a chat with her. " Now, sweetie, remember what we talked about?" he sternly questioned his daughter. Hera nodded her head, ponytail bouncing. " Yes daddy, stay in the room and if I need anything ask the guards!" she replied, smiling at her father. He patted her head and smiled gently. " That's my girl. When I get back we'll go on a tour, okay?" the girl was excited and gave her father a hug before he left and the door locked behind her. That was four days ago--
Her father had been busy and hadn't had a chance to stop what he was doing to spend time with his beloved child so she finally had enough waiting. It couldn't be that hard to get around, could it? Her family always told her that everyone was kind and helpful, she could get a tour guide on her own! She expertly tied her bed sheets together and draped them down out the window and didn't look before she started to ease her way out. When she got to the end of the rope she let her legs fall, only to realize she hadn't hit ground. She then looked over her shoulder and gulped, she still had a whole floor left!? How were they up so high? She was about to climb back in when she was a boy walking by and she cleared her throat to yell out to him. " I'm gonna jump, catch me!" she let go as soon as he looked up and she shut her eyes, expecting the boy to actually catch her. She felt something soft underneath her and when she opened on of her eyes she saw the boy staring at her and...angry? She tilted her head as he questioned why she jumped from the window and she merely smiled at him, hopping up and holding her hand out to help him up. " I'm not insane. I....was kidnapped, so I had to get away!" she came up with lie on the fly, as she didn't know what the boy with ears would say if she said she was in fact a princess. She dusted her dress off and looked back up to his face and held her hand out. " I'm Hera, thank you for helping me." she introduced herself, almost stumbling on the 'princess' part of her introduction, but she caught herself. ╚══════════════════════════════════════════╝ Talk .::::::. Ethan CarterHomeless | Mixed breed Inu | 18 | Male | StraightEthan heard what she said as she got up off of him, but as she held her hand out, he gently took it to stand up himself but she seemed rather frail so he didnt pull on her arm least he pull her down. He got up and brushed himself off but thought it over, "Kidnapped?! Why were you kidnapped? Wait..." he looked up at the fancy building, he had heard rumors the local nob uses this place for dealings, is she one of those dealings? He looked at her, "Hi Hera, im Ethan... un, we should get you to the police then. If you had been kidnapped, your family must be worried sick and looking for you." he said gently taking her hand and walking down the alleyway looking around. If she had been kidnapped, they had to be careful leaving the area if her captors were walking around, "The nearest police station is a mile down the road, if we get you there, it should be safe." he said but if he did bring her to the station, they would just contact her father and she would probably be sent home.

"I'm not spoiled! I swear I'm not..." ╔════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ Hera let out a sigh of relief when he wasn't angry with her, until he got concerned at the fact that she had been "kidnapped" and well, she should have known better. She tapped her chin as he was looking up at the building trying to come up with an idea. 'Sorry daddy!' she shut her eyes and did her best to make herself cry, what once was a useless skill she had. He had taken her hand and they started to walk but she stopped and planted her feet; thank goodness she had her boots on and not heels. As she teared up she grasped his sleeve and shook her head. " N-No! Can you just help me get out of here....? My parents were killed by them...they'd find me if I went for help!" she cried and stared up at him, as he was taller than her. She wiped some of her tears away and looked down at her feet, hoping this would work. " I mean...if it's too much of a bother I'll just go on my own but I'm not from here and I can't find my way back to my town..." ╚══════════════════════════════════════════╝ Talk .::::::. Think

Ethan CarterHomeless | Mixed breed Inu | 18 | Male | StraightHe watched as she planted her feet and began to cry, but he sighed as he looked at her, "Alright... calm down, it will be alright..." he said as he was a bit confused by her but figured that it was none of his business what she did, maybe she was homeless now, he would probably have to show her the ropes if thats the case. When she calmed down and said she could go on her own, he crossed his arms, "Yeah, it would probably be better if I showed you around, I know this town like the back of my hand. Since it seems your honeless or without family, then it might be best if I help since ive grown up on my own." he said as he had lead her away. As they got away, he heard some men talking about how 'she' wasnt in her room so he figured they would need to get out if sight. He lead her down the street and down another alley, but got to what looked like an old store that was empty now. He opened a window and helped her climb in, which as he got in, he closed the window quietly. As he put a finger to his lips to keep her quiet, they would hear a couple men outside who she would recognise as the voices of her guards. More then likely searching for the girl they were suppose to protect.

"I'm not spoiled! I swear I'm not..." ╔════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ It worked! She wasn't going to be turned into her father, she got away with it! Well, so far so good. She might have to hide her hair cause her dad would recognize her in seconds. She looked up at him and smiled shyly. " Thank you..." she thanked him, and moved to follow him when she heard someone in the hotel room she just snuck out of. She felt a overwhelming amount of guilt for a moment before brushing it off, she knew he dad would be worried but she had to explore. She walked along side him and when he opened a window to a store she climbed in, still not sure why they were hiding, and only with his help and was about to ask when he put his finger to his lips. ' I wonder why we're....' her thought was interrupted by her main guards voice moving by and she covered her mouth. At this point Ethan would be in trouble too! She peeked for a moment before sliding down and sitting on her heels as she pulled her hair up into a tight bun to hide it and put her hood up as well to hide the blonde hair. She wasn't from around here, that wasn't a lie, and because of that she'd probably stand out. Ethan CarterHomeless | Mixed breed Inu | 18 | Male | StraightEthan watched her peek out the window but they would wait for a bit til he helped her through the window again and they were back on the move. He took her through side roads away from the hotel she was staying at and soon thought it over, "You look out of place with your hood up, come on." he said as he lead her away but soon got to an alley as he put her hood down, but kept her hair in a ponytail but brushed her off, "Alright, stick with me, hold my hand if you have to but do not stop. Look around but dont touch." he instructed kindly but soon pulled her through the alley and soon they ended up in a marketplace, it was full of people as they walked into the flow, it was a good way to easily blend in and lose any pursurers. She would be able to see all the stands and all the goods being sold, which Ethan would help her stop and see but he tried to keep her from touching anything as some stands forced people to buy what they touched.

I swear I'm not..." ╔════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ When he helped her back out the window she had to use his hand for help this time and she smiled thankfully at him. She went along with him the whole way until he pushed her hood down and she shrugged, allowing him to do what he felt needed to be done to it. She hesitated before entering the marketplace and gently, but firmly, grasped his hand in hers. She squeezed his hand as they entered the market and her eyes lit up. There was....so much! She did bring some money but she figured she'd come back when she knew him a little better and buy some stuff. Well, that was, if her dad didn't catch them. She paused occasionally to glance at certain things, snacks and food she didn't recognize for example, but for the most part she watched her feet and made sure she kept up with Ethan. " Thank you for helping me! This is all so cool, but I wouldn't know the first thing to do out here..." this was not a lie, she'd be so lost even if she had her family with her. ╚══════════════════════════════════════════╝ Talk .::::::. Ethan CarterHomeless | Mixed breed Inu | 18 | Male | StraightEthan walked with her, keeping hold of her hand as they got through the crowd, he showed her some of the stands they could try. He didnt have much money so he didnt buy anything but when she would try to pay, they wouldnt be able to accept her money since she didnt get hers exchanged at the airport and couldnt accept her foreign currency. He looked at her when she spoke about being thankful but he felt something odd was going on, "Youre very welcome, im happy to help but shouldnt we be getting a report in about your kidnappers. I mean, having fun in the city is fine, but the longer we delay, the more your kidnappers could get away." he said as he used a bit of his money to buy some pastries from a vendor, a local kind of fried pastry with glaze and chocolate on it. Similiar to donuts but a bit more airey/flakey inside.

"I'm not spoiled! I swear I'm not..." ╔════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ Hera was having lots of fun, exploring new things and the feeling of his hand in hers felt nice too; albeit a little odd. She hesitated when he mentioned her kidnappers getting away. Her heart twinged a little bit and she looked down at her feet, scuffing her boots against the dirt. ' He's right...and daddy probably knows by now that I'm gone....I hope he's not too upset...' she thought to herself before biting her lip and looking up at Ethan again, the genuinity in his eyes making her determination waiver. ' No....I'll break if it becomes dangerous to either of us, but this isn't harmful. Daddy will be okay....' she was trying to convince herself, and she shook her head softly. Blonde hair moving with her head movement. " I....I don't think it'll do much good. I just need to get out of their way. I won't be able to do much about it anyway, and if I'm being honest....I don't have anything to go home to." she spoke quietly, her eyes sad as she glanced up at him. ╚══════════════════════════════════════════╝ Talk .::::::. Ethan CarterHomeless | Mixed breed Inu | 18 | Male | StraightEthan watched as she seemed conflicted with herself about something but when she spoke, he thought it over, "Im sorry to hear that... and I wish I could offer you a home to stay, but sadly I dont have much to offer." he said as he would walk with her, he helped buy some food with what little money he had. He walked with her when his ears twitched, but then they heard it together, someone yelling, "Shes over there!" which Ethan looked and saw the 'thugs' from before, which he quickly pulled her along, "Run!" he exclaimed as he pulled her along til he realized it would be hard for her to run in a dress so he carried her piggy back some. They forced their ways through the crowd and were chased, they got away for a time when he lost them by crossing a busy street of cars when they were stopped. He got to a place where he set her down, catching his breath but it wasnt for long as it was getting darker out but soon more of them showed up, a bunch of 'thugs' who cornered them. Ethan got between her and them but even after a little moment if fighting then off, one of them got him with a stun gun knocking out Ethan. The others grabbed Hera gently but firmly to keep her from slipping away as they got her to a car. Driving her back to the hotel, they lead her to her father, who was angry, "What do you think you were doing Hera?! You jumped from you room to get kidnapped by some lowlife. That lowlife was going towards the bad part of this town, where people get sold for money. What were you thinking?!" he said angrily.

"I'm not spoiled! I swear I'm not..." ╔════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ Hera shook her head and smiled when he said he didn't have much to offer. " You've offered much more than I could have ever asked for..." she replied quietly, blushing softly. She walked along with him and when his ears twitched she was about to ask what was wrong and then she heard it too. ' No!' she wheeled around, locking eyes with the head guard who glared at her. She then heard him yell to run and while she attempted to keep up with him she did trip up once or twice, until he easily picked her up. She held on and when they finally lost them, she set her hand on his arm and gave him an apologetic look. " I'm sorry...are you alri--" she started to ask if he was okay when the guards showed back up. She gasped when she was pushed behind him and when Ethan wasn't looking behind him she tried to motion for the guards to stand down, but to no avail. He was stunned. She knelt down next to him before the guards grabbed her and were pulling her towards the car. " Ethan! No...! I'm sorry....." her eyes were tearing up as she was pushed into the car and she buried her head in her hands. What was she....a monster!? That boy did nothing wrong and got caught up with her....
When they arrived back to the hotel she was faced with a furious father but her eyes were blank as she sunk down on the ground in the light of her father yelling at her. She should have known better! She hit the floor with the side of her fist as tears ran down her face. Her father was calling him a lowlife and she finally stood back up, but keeping her head down. " Father...he wasn't kidnapping me. I told him I was kidnapped and ran away. He was helping me. He's homeless, yes, but that doesn't make him a bad person..." her voice was quiet and weak as she backed away from her dad. " And now he's hurt became of me. If your men had only listened to what I was trying to tell them.....!" she snapped, her blue eyes sharp as she looked back at him, before fear flooded into them. She had never yelled at him before. She let her hands fall down in defeat and looked away. " I just hope that he's okay." she was more talking to herself then her father at that moment. ╚══════════════════════════════════════════╝ Talk .::::::. Think

Ethan CarterHomeless | Mixed breed Inu | 18 | Male | StraightHer father watched as she acted up but he shook his head, "I dont see how a lady of your standing would lie about being kidnapped by your own guards that were meant to protect you. Clearly the rogueish male beastly boy had forced you to travel with him, the fact he was taking you to the side of this town that is known for human trafficing just shows he planned to sell you." he stated as he would be surprised she snapped at him, she never snapped at him but when he relaxed, he sighed, "Well, it doesnt matter now, the inu is 18, and is being picked up by the police as we speak to be arrested for attempted kidnapping. He is currently downstairs but judging by the sirens, he will soon be incarcirated." he explained, which meant that Ethan would be arrested, for a lie and misunderstanding. The only way she could save him technically was to hire him, for her father had been getting on Hera for picking a personal guard, if she selected Ethan, she could save him from being arrested.

" Father I--!!" she gasped in surprise when he stated that Ethan was planning to sell her, which she didn't believe for a second. " He wasn't-! I know hi-!! F-father please!" she was tearing up and when he told her that Ethan was to be arrested she went pale. ' What...? Because of me....he's going to...' she looked down at her hands in shock before a thought crossed her mind. Her father had been bothering her to choose a personal guard. What if she had Ethan do it....? He'd no longer be homeless and....she'd repay the debt that she owed him! Her thoughts ran as she closed her eyes. ' If father would only let me...it's worth asking. I hope Ethan would be up for it...I really hope he's not too mad at me....' she opened her eyes and raised her head. " Father I want him as my personal guard!" she snapped before pushing past him and running down the steps, only minutes before he was getting handcuffed. She wasn't going to give her father a choice. It was him, or none! " Don't take him away, he works for me!" she yelled, the guards pausing as Hera stood her ground. " This man is my personal guard as of now. Unhand him." she spoke clearly and with command in her voice as she stood her ground. ╚══════════════════════════════════════════╝ Talk .::::::. Think

Ethan CarterHomeless | Mixed breed Inu | 18 | Male | StraightWhen Ethan woke up, he was handcuffed in a room, "Wha... where..." he said as he found he was handcuffed to a desk, "Where am I, what did you do with Hera?!" he asked as a guard came in hearing hin wake up, "Shes safe away from you after you kidnapped her and was taking her towards the black market." he accused as Ethan was confused, "Why the hell would I take her there?! That place is full of dangerous criminals!" he stated as if he was then realizing they were accusing him of kidnapping Hera, but before he could argue, the police arrived and began to take him towards the entrance, he didnt really struggle, but he was worried about Hera. However his ears perked up as he heard her voice as she burst into the lobby, "Hera, youre okay... wait, personal guard?" he asked confused but when she commanding the guards to let him go, his handcuffs were removed as he cautiously approached Hera, "Hera, whats going on, what do you mean by me being your personal guard?" he asked rubbing his wrist a bit but he was severaly confused with what was happening. However her father showed up, "Hera, and you, follow me." her father simply stated for them to follow as Ethan was confused but did as he was told as he followed Hera and this man who Hera had features similiar to him.
