April 20, 2022 the cameras went live at Power Xcellence Center for the second episode of XLL: Off the Record! The Leader of Power, and Owner of XLL was already in ring, casually sipping on a drink at the start of the show.
"Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for attending tonight for the second installment of Off the Record!" Cheers erupted from the audience. "And of course all the viewers at homes!" The Lion took a sip from his drink before proceeding. "As you all know, we have big plans in store for XLL moving forward. You can expect to see something new each show: something more exciting, someone new, or something entirely different all together! We're starting small, but this promotion will continue to grow as we build bridges and explore uncharted areas."
"Now, last time you were treated to a championship match. Tonight, we will be debuting a new championship as well!" The Lion motioned to a referee sitting near the commentators booth to join him in ring. The man picked up a duffle bag resting at his side and brought it with him to the ring.
"Tonight I present to you a championship made painstakingly by me." Cyrus began unzipping the bag as the referee held it up. "I designed it to signify exactly what kind of dedication is expected of it's champion." The camera zoomed in as Cyrus lifted the new belt up towards the audience. "Behold, the XLL: Fight Championship!" Cheers echoed through the arena.
"The moment this belt touches your hands and you're declared champion, you are expected to on duty 24/7! Night or day, snow or rain, you will defend this belt as it's active champion." The King of Beasts turns and hands the belt over to the referee. "Get familiar with this referee because he will be following the champion at every waking moment to ensure the integrity of this belt is without question!" Cyrus turns to the ref. "That's right, it all comes down to you sir. What is your name?"
"Mike-"
"Mike will be the sole official, besides myself, that can decide if this belt changes hands. With all of that being said, the only question left is who will be first champion. Who will answer the call to carry this belt? Well, tonight, all you have to do is pick up this belt, hold it up to the fans and declare yourself the first XLL Fight champion!"
