Originally, the City of Sparks was a pile of ruins from an expansion project that was long since abandoned by what is now known as Stroud City. The ruins remained here for decades until a passing Ranger decided to make use of the space to make a wayfinders camp for travelers to have a safe place to rest while traversing the perilous underground. Utilizing much of the old equipment as well as some good old fashioned ingenuity, she used her own Pokémon to power up what was then a small village. In time, the village grew into a town which eventually grew even further into the city it is now. Now an impressive landmark in its own right, the City of Sparks has a number of helpful facilities for those who have found themselves on its steps. If you ever find yourself in the area, make sure to check it out. It'll be an experience you won't soon forget.
The Wayfinder Inn:
Here since the city's founding, the Wayfinder Inn serves as the local version of a Pokémon Center, with all the fixings one would usually find there. Built into the side of the building is a lounge area and cocktail bar for those who are of age. We hope you enjoy your stay with us!
Margot's General Store:
While it may not have quite the selection that a Poké Mart would have, Margot's General Store is still an invaluable facility for those needing to resupply during their excursions through the underground. She even has some items that traditional Poké Marts don't have, so make sure you look carefully through her stock!
