Keiko had sent a message to Nectaris, and had been terribly excited for tonight ever since they had set it up. She only had fun things packed, snacks and a few blankets that she wanted to bring up…and a container to collect any balls of spider silk that she might find…just in case. No building would be done tonight, not with this little ball of sunshine…next time she came up, Keiko would put her to work, but right now, she simply deserved a vacation and to have some fun in space.
She would make sure the Knight had only good memories up in space. They would visit the bugs and just have fun looking around…and then she would petition for assistance as she did from everyone.
Perfect.
Pausing, Keiko glanced up when she felt the aura of the Knight. “Nectaris! You came! I hope you’re ready for an adventure! I don’t have much planned, but I have a lot of ideas for dumb little fun things!”
She held her arms out, just in case Nectaris wanted a hug. Hugs were wonderful, as she very well knew.

Of course Nectaris showed up. It turned out when all of your life and plans got snatched out from under you, there wasn't a lot of stuff to do while you figured out how to put everything back together. There was paperwork for putting together a new identity, and there were transcripts to look through and school stuff to figure out, and there were phone games. That was all, and Livie had never been the type to sit still. She'd been about to start clawing up the walls of the Bell's house when she'd gotten the message asking to do something cool. "Keiko!" she called out the very second she saw a flash of blue and white, and she charged towards the senshi at full speed. She would've charged right into her arms, except that it would've ruined the plastic pack of cupcakes that she was carrying. She slowed down just a little bit before impact and went for the side hug instead. "Hi! I love fun dumb stuff. Also, space. I went to space and it turns out that space is amazing." At least, Nectaris was pretty amazing. Space was pretty big, she guessed. Other places might be different. "Also, I got you your cupcakes, 'cause we only got the cookies, last time."

Keiko laughed and squeezed Nectaris in the side hug, her eyes lighting up with the idea that she had brought cupcakes. “Oh my god, it really will be a party then, won’t it?”
With one last squeeze, Keiko pressed the button on her phone that would take them to Space without hesitation, and when the cold…but not quite as cold as before air hit them, she knew that they had arrived. “...Huh. Maybe there will be a spring up here after all. That would be nice.”
There was a light dusting of snow on the ground, and more flurries were lazily falling, but honestly, it was balmy. Maybe a few degrees below freezing, but that wasn’t so bad. “Welcome to Keiko! I told you, it’s cold up here, and right now it doesn’t look like much, but it will. I’m working on it. It..”
One of the butterflies came floating up to them and perched itself on Nectaris’ head, walking over to one of the ornaments on her headband and fluttering its wings slightly.
“Oh, looks like you’re already popular! I had hoped you’d get to see one.”

The way everything kinda twisted was a little bit more gut-wrenching this time around, probably because Nectaris wasn't the one activating the space travel. It wasn't like she cared, though. As soon as everything cleared up and they were on Keiko's world, Nectaris's eyes were shining. Okay, this was totally different from her pile of stained glass and space rocks. The dusting of snow made it look like something right out of a winter themed fairy tale, and the butterflies made it feel alive. "Woah," she whispered, and then a butterfly was coming right for her head and she was holding her breath, 'cause the last thing she wanted to do was startle it if it was gonna land on her. Only, that didn't last super long, because it did land on her, and its tiny little butterfly feet tickled.Nectaris giggled. "Hey, do you want a cupcake too, mister butterfly? There's probably too many for just us, anyway," she said, cracking open the packaging so that she could fish out one to hold up by her head. "I dunno what you're talking about," she added, glancing back to Keiko with the kind of stars in her eyes that only came when someone had been blessed by the presence of a tiny creature. "This place is already. Freaking. Perfect. You just gotta stay this close to me, 'cause, like, brr."

Keiko grinned, so very pleased that Nectaris seemed to be enjoying herself. “If you want to get a little warmer, let’s go inside to eat the cupcakes!”
The butterfly moved to poke at the cupcake, but then seemed to simply bury itself into Necatris’ hair, clearly not wanting to go anywhere.
Keiko wrapped an arm around her friend and led her inside of her base room, taking a moment to light a fire in the fireplace and gesturing to the two chairs that Arnica had gifted her. “Make yourself at home!” She nodded to the ever growing spider web in the corner and saw that there were two more large clumps of spider silk, and she looked at it curiously.
“This is my spider friend…hey, Nec, do you think you can weave spider silk? He keeps balling it up like this and I just…wouldn’t it be neat to make something from it? Or does that sound stupid to you?”

"Don't like sugar?" she asked her little butterfly friend, who mostly still just seemed committed to hanging out with the fake butterfly on her headband. "Okay, I guess. More for me." Eating inside sounded good, but Nectaris wasn't about to wait just so she could dig in. While Keiko was guiding her inside of some kind of structure, Nectaris was eating all of the frosting off of her cupcake in a single lick. The cake part had vanished, too, by the time that Keiko had gotten the fire going. The spider in the corner was hard to miss, but Nectaris was giving it plenty of space. She tried to be an optimist and a ball of sunshine and to like everything, she really did, but spiders were just so crawly. "There's kind a lot of bugs here for a snow spirit planet," she muttered. Keiko had a point, though. "It's not stupid! I bet it could come out like silk or something. Really delicate." Plus, the spider seemed to be making a bunch of extra web. There was probably enough there for a small project. "So, I actually went to fashion school, and I do remember how to sew and stuff. Not really spinning, but if you could get it into thread, I could probably help you go from there."

The butterfly didn’t reply, but that wasn’t too terribly surprising.
Keiko glanced over and chuckled, taking one of the cupcakes and looking quite excited by the fact that Nectaris had gone to fashion school. “Well…that is fantastic to know. I’ll have to take you up on that. Maybe…”
She walked over, taking a bite of her cupcake, some frosting covering the tip of her nose and scooped up the bunches of extra silk.
The spider crawled over, nuzzling against her hand and Keiko grinned, petting him gently. “Oh my god, I don’t like real spiders…but this one is fantastic. He’s the cutest little thing ever. Would you like to pet him?”
She held her hand out and hesitated, shoving the rest of the cupcake into her mouth. “...Oh my god these are so delicious…”

Nectaris couldn't help but rock side to side a little bit nervously with the way that Keiko looked so excited that she'd gone to fashion school. "Uh, I mean, don't expect miracles right off the bat. I don't remember most of the specifics, it's weird? But I'm also better at this stuff than I was before I lost my memories, so I guess some of the training paid off? I can try." She just hoped that whatever she made would be good enough to, like, honor all of the hard work of the little spider which Keiko seemed to like so much. Nectaris was still a little bit creeped out, but she did trust Keiko's judgement, and it wasn't like the spider was biting her, or crawling on her or anything. After a second, Nectaris rearranged her moon staff and cupcake pack so she could give it a little one fingered scratch on its spider head. "Okay, maybe it's kinda cute," she said.

The spider wiggled to get closer to Nectaris’s finger and seemed to ooze, its legs splaying out on Keiko’s hand, eyes closing in delight.
“Hey, no worries! I would have to figure out how to get this into…something usable…I’m not even sure if it would be possible but…it’s worth a try.”
She watched the spider and gave a happy little isgh. “He really seems to like you, which isn’t a surprise. You’re like a wonderful ball of sweet sunshine~” The silk was slipped into her subspace pocket, and idly, Keiko wondered if she would be able to figure out a way to really spin it into something…hopefully.
“So! What else would you like to see, Nectaris? I’m sorry that there’s not all that much, but I’m working on it…and if you’re ever willing to come back…I’d love your help. With whatever. I might try to build something. Maybe…figure out how to build an actual house for myself to use?”

The spider just melted into a tiny little bug puddle, and just like that, Nectaris's heart melted, too. "Okay. I guess he is kinda cute," she said, scratching his head a couple more times. "Does he have a name? He'd be less scary if he had a name. Like, uh-" She looked at his tiny blue feet, and his fluffy body. "Marshmallow? You know, like from Frozen?" Would Keiko even know what that was? Was Frozen old now? Frozen was probably old now. Weird. Peeking back towards the door, she asked, "So, like, what is this place, exactly? I know it's your world, but how much did you know about it? Did people used to live her, 'cause if they did, they probably built their own houses, yeah?"

“Marshmallow?” Keiko looked down at the spider and smiled, nodding eagerly. “He is a marshmallow! Oh, wow I think I love him even more now. Ugh. He’s the most precious baby. And Marshmallow is a far cuter name than Olaf, at least in my mind.” She thought about the idea of the previous people who lived on Keiko
“There are several ruins that I’ve seen. I had figured that they were old homes, they were kind of small, um. This place was the biggest, and had the most structure to begin with, I’m not sure what it might have been, but…at least this room has four walls! And gets quite warm. It’s fun to toast…oh.”
She paused and looked at the spider before looking at Nectaris. “...Food marshmallows. Over the fire. I do that sometimes with my friends. That could be a problem, what if he gets scared?”

Nectaris glanced at Marshmallow, her cheeks puffing out as she thought. "I mean, he's a spider," she said. "He probably doesn't understand English." It was hard to be sure, though. All of the other spiders she'd seen were much creepier. None of them had adorable little blue feet, and none of them spun giant balls of yarn, either. Maybe this magic space spider was smart enough to learn his name. "Or, just, uh, don't talk about the food marshmallows while you cook them? We should totally do that sometime, though! I love, uh-" She puffed out her cheeks again, trying to figure out a way not to say the word marshmallows. "Puffy sugar thingies?"

“He is a spider…but you have to admit, he’s the greatest spider ever. You can’t not admit that.” Marshmallow seemed fully inclined to prove that point by nuzzling closer to Nectaris’s finger, and raising his little front legs to hug it and then petting it in return.
“...Oh my god. But…yeah…we…I love him so much…we’ll. Cook some mallowmallows and…he can have the real name because he really is a baby Marshmallow, that was the greatest name ever and it’s perfect for him. You…ugh. I’m so glad I got to meet you! Look how much he likes you!”
Truthfully…with the way he acted, she wouldn’t be surprised if he could truly understand.
“You’ll come up here again, won’t you? I mean, I am asking for manual labor but…it’ll be fun and we can hang out with this cutie pie and…have more snacks for your payment! It’s a great offer, promise~”

"Yep! The greatest spider ever," Nectaris was quick to agree. To be fair, her bar for spiders was pretty low, but Marshmallow was pretty cute. Like, when he started rubbing her finger with his little spider hands? Yeah, Nectaris let out a tiny high pitched squeak, because that was just too adorable. "I mean, I don't actually know anything about like, construction or power tools?" At least, she didn't think she did. It was kinda hard to know for sure, given the whole thing where her memories were almost gone but she still had some skills carrying over. Construction seemed pretty unlikely, though. "I mean, I'll do what I can! I can google it, and I know how to clean and stuff. And I can't say no to marshmallows, or to Marshmallow."

“No pressure, I like your company more than your manual labor!” She grinned and hesitated for a moment, reaching for another cupcake. “I’m glad that we got to meet, Nectaris! Here’s to a bunch more happy times together!”
She held the cupcake out, grinning, and Marshmallow looked up at her and held out one of his legs as well. A toast to Nectaris and the future of this wonderful friendship.
Truly, it couldn’t get much better.
