Oh, I love this idea! I'm afraid I don't have any classic old school avatars, since I joined in 2008. But I'll scrounge something up and post it here once I find my old files.
In the meanwhile, here's my old/new halfatar, since it fits the theme!
I love your recreation! I love how many elements you were able to modernize!

From 08 is still quite a leap. I love your halfatar; so fun! The leaf and kiki were always some of my faves to use plus you have the devil horns and tail, fairy wings, gwee wings...ahhh so nostalgic! It is too bad we can't get some modern seal slipper leg mods. They could call the item Classic Slippers and it would have Seal, Penguin, and Bunny that are modernized.

I never saved or documented most of my pre-2013 avis, but I had two that were classic that I felt it was worth re-creating them and then updating them every few years. Gen 2 was done in 2013, and Gen 3 was done in 2016. Thanks for inspiring me to do Gen 4! gaia_bunny

That is so awesome! I love seeing the progression over the years. The Gen 4s turned out great and you can definitely tell they were inspired by the originals. Heki-bun is the most dramatic change...however the hair color keeps the continuity.

I think except for the pants and Tatterhood, I have most of these in my inventory . . . brings back memories from when I was all about pirates. And big hair. xd

I agree--Madam Rouge. They're not tied to any pants, which is botha blessing and a curse, these days biggrin
