Fysarius rarely strayed very far from the Vanguard house. For the most part it was because he still couldn't fathom what he was doing here, what purpose he had for being on Earth while his home needed help. If he had no reason to be out, he might as well stay in, and...? And do nothing, usually. He should be so blessed that his friends cared enough for him not to leave him to his own devices perpetually. He knew he was bound to feel worse and worse without Ny's or Cypher's interference...
As much as he would like to say that when he left the house it was for the betterment of his people, that would not be entirely accurate.
When it felt like he needed to move, Fysarius stuck to outdoor areas. Places where he could harvest specimens to add to his growing collection. He was rapidly coming to the understanding that ants, flies, and mosquitoes were extremely prevalent species in this area. When there was opportunity to procure something different, he took it. The evening found him out by a running river. The ComTech seemed to be collecting GPS data from the rest of the Vanguard's activities, so it was by no accident that he found himself here.
Bodies of water were good places to gather insects. Fysarius had a small assortment of jars set out on the bank, and he was waist deep in the river, himself. He'd managed to collect a water skater, and mayflies from the branches. The damselflies were just starting to unfurl their wings... There were so many species here.
His ComTech blipped in warning, a soft ping of sound that some powered signature was near. But the noise was easily overlooked, distracted as he was by his personal activities.

Varda wasn't sure why she had come out so far away from the city. She supposed she wanted to find some new trails for biking, but perhaps she was just a bit tired of running into other powered persons and having to deal with them. Which was mostly fighting. As much as she reveled in it, she also did a lot of it in her free time as well, so it started to get repetitive.
Soon enough she found herself by a river and something caught her eye. She hadn't seen them at first, but when she got closer she could tell that it was a... well she didn't actually know what they were. They appeared to be in some sort of suit and had a green skin color. That usually meant a Youma from the few that she had seen, but she didn't feel any sort of chaos aura from them... so what were they?
As she got closer and trying to keep quiet as she figured out how to approach the person, she stepped on a large branch, snapping it in half and flinched at the loud sound it made! She immediately put her hands up to try and show she wasn't going to do anything to the stranger. "Sorry! I hadn't expected to see anyone else out here!"

Fysarius was screwing the lid onto one of his containers when something snapped behind him. He glanced sharply toward the sound, looking quickly from the water and up to see some person who'd been wandering by. Not another member of the Vanguard, who he might've expected to come so far out in the name of exploration, but a human of Earth. He stared silently back at her, large golden eyes fixated judgingly at the-
...He didn't know what she was.
She wasn't with the White Moon, which would have initially led him to believe that she was allied with the Negaverse. But Negaverse senshi... They had those cracks in their skin, and he could see plainly that such things were absent on her. Warily, and with a measured slowness that probably made it obvious he didn't trust her, despite her apologies, Fysarius glanced down to the screen of his ComTech, waiting for the little blips of sound to tell him more about her as it read her aura.
But it had nothing to report. It must not have recognized her particular brand of energy signature, besides to say that she was on par with mid-level White Moon and Negaverse senshi. So not new to this, and he could not reliably expect her to be either entirely uninformed or friendly.
He stayed in the water. Whatever obstacles were between them, Fysarius intended to keep them there until he had enough information to make a proper judgment on her. "What world do you serve?" He called from his place in the stream, though he was already certain it wouldn't be one he'd heard of. More importantly would probably have been to ask where her power had come from, since it wasn't clearly identifiable as anything he'd seen or heard of previously.
