“Hey pretty kitty!” Keiko poked her face right up against the sleeping Mauvian’s, grinning in excitement. Sure it wasn’t Viatrix, but the idea of being able to talk to another guardian was always a good one.
She was quite sure that this one was different though. She felt different, more chaos filled and..while that should have worried her more than it did…she didn’t really mind. All cats could purr, couldn't they? All cats had wonderful, squishy toebeans. It was only a matter of getting past the different auras and seeing the the wonderful cat underneath.
Besides, she had no real issues with Chaos, not…many issues at least. Plus she could take care of herself if things got ugly, which she doubted they could with such a pretty creature. But. In general. She could take care of herself.
“I’m Sailor Keiko, and I would love it very much if I could pet you for a while, and would love it even more if you would allow me to squish your cute little toes. I haven’t had a chance to squish cat toes for so long, you know? You’re beautiful, by the way. And if flattery helps make up your mind, I’ll flatter you all evening.”

Soyala was not expecting to be woken up, with much indignity, by an Order Senshi. She was also not expecting the barrage of requests thrown her way, all of them essentially variants on demands for attention.
"You are aware," Soyala said, "that I serve the Negaverse, yes?" There was, she thought, no missing her aura, this close, nor was there any missing the darkened star on her forehead. But, well, if the Sensih was prepared for that... "That said, Sailor Keiko," she extended a paw delicately, "as long as you are gentle, you may pet me and squish my toes."
There was a degree of indignity to it, but humans really did get silly about cats in a sometimes wonderful way. And perhaps if she took some time to befriend this one, she could make a case to bring her over tot he other side. Now that would be something of a coup, she thought.

Keiko gave a soft squeal and reached out, softly petting the cat’s face and leaning forward to kiss her little nose. “I’m aware. I don’t judge. I have nothing against the Negaverse, or chaos in general if they’re not trying to hurt me.”
Her fingers began to gently squish the toe beans, and Keiko had an expression on her face that was one of pure bliss. She would have said something about dating a corrupted senshi…but thankfully there was some part of her brain that was still working, and kept saying that an admission like that wouldn’t be good for Lilith. And hurting Lilith was the very last thing that she would ever want to do.
“What’s your name? It’s okay if you don’t want to tell me, honestly this is more than enough.”

Soyala stretched out her paw, spreading her toes apart to give Keiko more room to squeeze. She made a happy, contented purring noise, nudging her nose against Keiko's cheek. This was...actually pretty nice; clearly this Senshi knew how to treat a cat.
"I'm glad to hear you have nothing against us," she said. Good, good,t hat meant she might already be halfway to converting. That would be a lucky, lucky break. Every Senshi brought in strengthened the Negaverse, after all, and that was all she wanted.
To be of service.
"My name is Soyala. It's pleasure to meet you, Keiko, and I'm quite surprised to hear you're so favorably disposed towards us. Most people on your side seem to treat me like I must be a deluded fool."

Keiko hummed in delight, continuing to squeeze and pet the Mauvian, utterly content as well. “Like I said, if I’m not being hurt, or people around me…there’s no reason to fight. Everyone has different ideals. Everyone has things that they want to accomplish. I do more harm than good trying to change people’s minds, and it’s easier to find peace if you practice peace. It’s no good to just…”
She thought through the next words that she wanted to say and finally just shrugged. “If you attack based on how a person feels to you, then you’ll never figure out how they feel to…themselves? That sounds really stupid but. Truth be told I’m not even sure where I was going with this. But, the moral of the story is that you’re not a deluded fool, you’re a beautiful, smart and clever, wonderful Mauvian, and I adore you.”
With a sigh she rubbed her full face in Soyala’s soft fur. “...How does one go about getting a Mauvian. That’s really. The worst thing about all of this. I want a fantastic, intelligent cat for a partner…”

Soyala let herself luxuriate in the affection, purring the entire time. This Senshi clearly knew how to treat a Mauvian, and she supposed that whichever one had Awakened her and powered her up had done well enough to teach her that.
"You are a very, very smart girl," Soyala said. "Miss Keiko, I think any Mauvian would be lucky to have you as a partner." Soyala sighed. "We Mauvians, we know when we find our Senshi. It is a unique bond, one that can even transcend lifetimes. And we simply know it when we feel it."
She pressed her face against Keiko's cheek.
"I would be lucky to have a Senshi half as thoughtful as you. It's too bad we're on opposite sides, darling."

Keiko smiled softly, nuzzling the cat and sighing softly. “Do you have a bonded? Have you felt that? Have you found the one that you belong with?”
It sounded so wonderful…and she truly hoped that…
That maybe one day…
“It is a shame. I know you’d be a lot of fun to have with me, and I’d treat you so very nicely, Soyala. We could explore my homeworld together and just…be so happy. If you ever decided to change your mind, please…maybe be my bonded? I would love you forever, there’s no way that I wouldn’t.” She pressed another kiss, right to the star on Soyala’s forehead. “I hope that we can still be friends, even if we are on opposite sides.”

"I have not," Soyala sighed, "but I have many Senshi that I look after, so it doesn't feel too badly. I might like to find my bonded someday, but I'm quite happy for now."
It was even true; she liked having many Senshi she could work with, and being flexible enough that the General-Sovereigns could call oin her for whatever they needed. She wasn't tied to any particular Sensih or team--or, well, she wasn't anymore.
(Sometimes, she did miss Quartz and Idrialite.)
"I would enjoy the privilege of being your bonded," she said, "but I cannot leave the Negaverse. I cannot abandon my charges, or risk the ire of the General-Sovereigns." She huffed. "Friends, though. Yes, we can be friends."
And given a chance, she would gladly work to win this lovely Senshi over Keiko would, she thought, make a wonderful Corrupt.

”I wouldn’t want you to get into any trouble, I’m just saying that if it ever happens, I get dibs!”
Keiko grinned and gave a small sigh, giving the Mauvian one last kiss. “I should get going, and I’ve kept you from your nap long enough, little lady. I do hope we meet again. And if I’m not destined to be your bonded, I hope you find them, and that you are happy. You deserve to be happy above all things.”
She patted Soyala on the head and gave a little wave before heading back on her patrol, half wondering if being so open minded was…the best way to go about things.
It had to be, though. Nobody liked to have their opinioms changed by those who nagged.
