"So what's your favorite part of working here?" She asked as she was looking at the maps and watching the weather radar she had up wondering if they were going to get a storm. She really didn't want to have to close the park early today but if they had to let people know there was a storm on the way she'd rather be at it earlier rather than later.
After all there were people that sometimes didn't want to leave even after being told to scoot on out. She'd heard a few crazy stories from one of the more veteran rangers.
She was also trying to feel out this person to see how cool they were. That was when the park phone rang. "Oh hell." She sighed who was out of something now . . . "Hello this is Park Ranger Laverdure how can I help yo--" The person on the other end had cut her off and she squinted at the phone as if she was hearing some sort of prank call. "You said there's a tiger where in the park?"
There was a pause, ". . . wait what color?" She was hoping this wasn't a prank. "Okay purple tiger, walking on two legs? Around red bird trial marker 5? Sure we'll go check it out. Thank you for the report."
There was another pause after she hung up. "Welp. . . . hope they're not drunk and seeing things because that is a weird tiger if you ask me." She got up, "You want to drive?" She asked as she picked up the golf cart keys. It wasn't that far but it would be faster to take the golf cart.
