For his typical patrol hours today, Encke had gone instead with Anser so she could show him around the improvements to her little equatorial village. And while she was tempted to follow along because she loved space, she figured at least one of the group of them should be patrolling that afternoon. Sure, there was Basiluzzo at least, but-- it was the principle of the thing, and she couldn't risk missing someone.

With the amount of unawakened senshi she ran into as of late, she was especially concerned. She couldn't risk any potential Cepheus or Ran or Raksha ending up running into a member of Chaos instead and risking falling into the trap of them instead of the freedom of being Order, being untouched by Chaos--

She wasn't really feeling much, though.

There was an occasional distant aura here and there, maybe the sensation of a nasty youma somewhere nearby that just as quickly got snuffed out. Viatrix snorted derisively at it as she hopped up onto a fence post and carefully moved first to sit like a regal statuesque cat that may have once been carved by the ancients before she assumed the most favorable, comfortable cat position: a floofy orange loaf.

Viatrix used this vantage point to see if she could see anything interesting nearby.

... Or just relax.

Viatrix felt the nearing aura, and while she didn't get out of her loaf position -- too comfy, and it was an Order aura, anyway, so she wasn't in a rush to get into some other position -- she did shift just a bit to look like she was giving a bit more attention. Her pupils dilated as she found the person approaching her, and her ears turned in interest when the senshi made a cat noise at her, of all things.

Assuming, she chirruped back, giving her a slow blink of appreciation.

That was, of course, before she was acknowledged as a Mauvian, and as the senshi in front of her blushed, Viatrix giggled. The jumping straight up caused Viatrix to unloaf and stretch and shake out her copious fur before settling into a more ready but not uncomfortable sitting position. Not used to this many Mauvians around... did she awaken elsewhere?

... Oh!

Viatrix clapped her front paws together once in recognition. The spots. The tail. The cat noises. Of course.

"No worries at all. We gotta blend in with these Earth cats somehow, right?" There were more of them. Aliens. Not just Dagon, not just the Velencians -- how many of these non-human senshi had made their way to Earth? Were they all in the same straits? "I'm Viatrix. It's good to meet you, too! Tell me, how long have you been here?"

She was already prepared to give her whole Live With Me and my Bonded's Family Spheal if this was another senshi with no place to go--

Viatrix honestly sympathized. If she could, she would much rather just be in her full Mauvian form, but something being a beacon for the Negaverse something-- "Blending in is important. The Chaos threat is everywhere and the normal civilians here don't really know what's going on. Kinda sucks honestly. I'd rather be a Mauvian too, not a normal cat--"

It was good, though, that she said she was staying inside. Probably had found people to be safe with, then, hopefully, other members of Order. She'd have to see if she could worm out some more information about those people, though. Just to be sure. Could never be too cautious.

(Plus, maybe she was staying by herself, which would be worse--)

"Oh, I know you're not a Mauvian. You don't feel like we do." She envied the swish of the tail, but only for a moment, enjoying that same nice breeze through her fur. "And I could tell you're not from Earth. You're not the first outworld senshi I've come across."

She tilted her head.

"Only the second, though."

Were there more of them?

"Have you met any other senshi? Who were born elsewhere, that is? I think Dagon hasn't met any others..."

At least, Dagon didn't tell her about it. Which was fine! Dagon didn't need to tell her everything! But also: she would very much like to get to know more extraterrestrial senshi.

"Viatrix, by the way!"

Viatrix nodded. It was honestly nice to talk to someone who really understood that; she felt the freest when around senshi, knights, and other people who knew. She felt especially free on homeworlds where she didn't have to think about it at all. And while she did naturally do some cat behaviours like purring and affectionate head bumps and enjoying pets, she also wanted to chat. "Yeah. I gotta be quiet and try to communicate with cat noises and signals. It's," she sighed, "lemme just say I'm kinda glad my bonded's family figured it out, I like this better."

She tilted her head as she listened -- okay, she didn't know Adria, but she would have to assume that was a safe Order senshi -- nodding as well as a cat could when she mentioned Neryn who wasn't born here but wasn't a senshi either--

"Oh, a Velencian," she nodded again. "Encke -- ah, sorry, that's my bonded -- knows a few of them." Including the one that was supposed to be their senshi, apparently, but she would leave that one alone. "I don't think he knows a Neryn though, I'm sorry. They came here a little while ago. Trying to figure out how to bring their homeworld back."

It was good to hear she had been saved by the Velencians, though. Knowing that, considering what she watched happen with Ran, was reassuring that they didn't all necessarily agree with that Chaotic push...

"If you want, I could try and put you in contact with Dagon? She lives with me, so," Viatrix gestured to herself quite proudly. "She's an off-worlder senshi, just like you. I'm glad to know there's more of you, either way."

Viatrix let out an eager, happy hum. "You sure can! We have our own devices to answer that," she tapped on her ear to indicate an earpiece, even if she insisted on carrying her own phone on her because it was fun and let her do a few tests of apps she wanted to release-- "I'd love to have more senshi to talk to."

It would also let her keep an eye out.

Not that she didn't trust that Adria wasn't a good senshi and that a good Mauvian hadn't found her. But... just in case she needed a Mauvian.

Yeah.

She reached out for Daphne's phone, offering. "I can put Dagon and Encke in your phone too, if you'd like. I'll tell them who you are so they know that they might be expecting a call?" If she was here to look for allies, Viatrix was entirely in support of that. "Encke also knows a few other people he could put you in contact with," as did she-- she was gathering her own little collection of senshi, wasn't she? It felt good.

Maybe this was how she could help them stay safe and Order on Earth.

"Do you know what's happening on your world?" Was she from a living homeworld? Was her situation like Dagon's, with centuries alone? "I'd love to be able to help if I can."

Viatrix could tell she hit on something of a sore spot, and she frowned, edging a bit closer to Daphne in case she wanted the supportive stability of being able to pet a cat. Or... Mauvian, as it was.

Chaos, then war.

"Sounds like here," Viatrix murmured, because even if their war was not the same type of war that caused the planet to protect its one senshi, it was what happened on Earth. It was part of why they were all here, right? Besides the fact that so many of their worlds were simply dead...

She hadn't been back to her planet since ending up here. Interesting. Viatrix wondered how her world was doing. Were there still people of Daphne left, fighting off the Chaos? Or was it more like the situation that Dagon had found herself in? She tapped her snout in thought for a moment, before looking back to Daphne. "I'm glad your planet saved you. If there's any way I can help you with your world -- even if it's just by helping get the nerves to go back there, let me know."

She tilted her head and slowly blinked her eyes to show her friendliness.

Viatrix purred soothingly when Daphne ran her fingers through her fur, and especially when she slow blinked in turn. It was calming, in a way; a deliberate action that cats oft did to show they felt safe, but it was a good way to center oneself.

And it sounded like Daphne needed the comfort.

She hoped that the suggestions that this must have been a long time ago were false. Obviously, for one, that would mean that there were more peoples that were somewhat alive, even if they carried the same weight -- or worse -- of Chaos as Earth did. But considering what she had seen, she couldn't fool herself about the likely reality.

"I'll be ready to help when you need me," Viatrix could promise that much.

She couldn't suggest anything like Daphne's world would still live, but she had seen what had happened to Encke's world.

Things could be done.

"I'm glad I got to talk to you too! I look forward to helping you make more connections. I'll see you soon, alright?"

And just for good measure, she bumped Daphne's hand with her head to show her approval. Viatrix had certainly absorbed quite a few normal cat behaviours...
