Lynette rested against Aimee as the two of them sat on a small hill in one of the parks of the city. They had a wonderful picnic and had watched the sunset before kissing had distracted them both.
The girl wore a small, satisfied smile and nuzzled closer to her…ah. Hm.
Glancing up, Lynette tilted her head slightly. “Aimee…what are we? Do we have a title for what this is, do you think?” It was something, obviously. And the feelings that Lynette had for the green haired girl were deep. …Even more than the ones she had for Mirzam…but. Aimee was…more real than Mirzam was. It had been nearly two months since she had last seen the corrupted senshi, and quite honestly…well. She missed her, but Aimee was so much more…and…and she could see Aimee so much more. And be held by her. Kissed by her…ah…everything by her.
She snuggled a little closer, flopping down again. “I just want to know…Because I really think I love you. More than chocolate, almost.”
Which…was a very big deal for Lynette McArdle to say.

Spending time with Lynette was....pure delight. It made Aimee happier than she could say, which was not something she had expected from another person. She was normally so guarded, allowing people to only se as much of her as she chose, and not letting herself get...attached, to anyone who wasn't family.
But Lynette was special, if you asked her. Lynette had shown up in her life, and carved out a place, much the same way that....
Well, much the same way that Helena had, although she hadn't seen Helena in weeks.
The thought made her deeply sad.
Lynette's question, though, startled her, and she had to take a moment to bite the inside of her cheek. Labels were....hard. Labels were committing herself, tying herself to a specific person.
But if she weaseled, would she lose Lynette? Like she seemed to have lost Helena? Like she had lost her brother?
The thought was, simply, unconscionable.
"I....think that you are very, very dear to me, Lynette. The dearest person in my life who isn't family," she said, and she exhaled. "I think that makes you my girlfriend, if you would like to be?"

Lynette was almost glowing. She looked at Aimee with such a loving expression and moved to snuggle against the woman, sighing happily. “You are the greatest. I would love nothing more than to be your girlfriend! I…” She hesitated, swallowing. “I need to…let you know that I have…someone else too. She’s very important to me, and even though we haven’t seen one another in a long time…I’m…still going to spend time with her when I can.”
If Mirzam hadn’t moved on.
Lynette shuddered at the very thought, but. She pressed closer to AImee for a moment and then slipped a hand in her pocket, fingers curling around her henshin pen. “I have another thing that I need to tell you too. I’m not going to keep secrets from my girlfriend. But. Don’t be afraid, okay? It’s a good thing, I promise.”
Drawing away slightly, Lynette powered up into Helena, looking at Aimee with an almost shy expression, not something that was normally on the senshi’s face. “I’m a superhero. A cryptid of my own sometimes. But, I don’t hurt anyone. I’m Helena, Senshi of Wit. And I’m yours forever, Aimee!”

Someone else. Aimee felt her insides freeze at the declaration from Lynette that there was....someone else in her life. Someone else she intended to keep seeing, despite what Aimee thought had been her being very clear that she wanted to make Lynette hers and hers alone.
That simply would not do. The very prospect of anyone else putting hands on her Lynette--
It was hypocritical, of course, because she had Helena, but feelings were not rational. Especially not with Constantin's disappearance. His abandonment of her and Evangeline.
It was a good thing, as it turned out, that Aimee's tongue was frozen and she couldn't manage to speak, because....in an instant, her dilemma resolved itself.
And she smiled. The poison smile of a woman who had just won in ways she hadn't even known were possible.
"Oh, Helena, my sweet girl," she purred, and her tone might evoke a certain familiarity even before she produced her own henshin pen, "I have something to tell you too, in that case."
She stood up.
"Mirzam Star Power, Make Up."
Once she was Mirzam, she stepped forward, gently gripping Helena's chin. "I promised you we would be together, didn't I? And I think it's time I make good on that promise. Don't you agree?"

Helena stared at Aimee for a moment, confused and growing slightly…hopeful when she was called her sweet girl…that was what…
Eyes widening, Helena gave a soft, confused noise and stared up at Mirzam. “...You? Oh. No wonder I love you so much then. Was I good? Are you angry with me, Mirzam?”
Even if she had seen the transformation…the idea that both the women she loved were one and the same was just a little too much to think about right now. “Of course I agree…I agree with anything…you…” It seemed as though things were finally starting to make some sense, and excitement was beginning to light the senshi’s eyes. “You’re really Aimee? You’re…I got to be with you all this time? I thought you had moved on from me…I…so I just really started liking Aimee but…she’s you!”
Swiftly, Helena pressed closer, hugging the corrupt senshi tightly. “I agree. I agree with anything you want. I’m yours, Mirzam. All of me. For now and forever and for always.” Such a statement might have been seen as dangerous, but now that she knew that Aimee knew…that Aimee…
There was nothing else she would rather have in her life but this woman beside her. No matter the costs.

Mirzam sighed. Her feelings had been in a certain sort of turmoil,but it seemed like it all worked out. A very, very happy accident that let her have Helena and Lynette--though she supposed one or the other would be erased in the corruption process.
Ah well, she would just have to replace all the missing memories.
"You have been so good, sweet girl," she said, "and I hope you aren't angry with me? For keeping this from you?"
But of course, she knew Helena well enough. She knew that she had her, and that there was no need for any real apologies.
Anyway, she might not remember them after this.
She wrapped her arms around Helena, and smiled, fond and pleased all at once.
"Don't worry, I'll never let you go," she said, and then she focused, and teleported both of them to Negaspace.
No reason to take chances. No reason to let Helena slip through her fingers.
