Home World (Wonder) Visit - Backdated: 1st March 2022

Almost every other knight, if not every knight, had found their Signet Ring on their Wonder. This was what everyone she had met had said when it had been revealed hat this was the manner in which 'her' kind communicated. While the Senshi had a phone, the Knights had been given a subtle and convenient means to mask their devices in the form of a ring... though by the sounds of it there wasn't much too them. For all intents and purposes they were an old school method of communication and she was still somewhat surprised they didn't send ghostly pigeons across the galaxy once the letter had been 'signed'.

Nevertheless, with this information to hand, Serenitatis had elected to do her best to locate hers. In order to find others like her, in order to maintain contact with those she had met, it was in her best interests to succeed. She had promised she would seek out others but even she knew that one time encounters only went so far and a lasting connection was what The Code may have meant when it had encountered her to find allies.

It was with this in mind that she took a deep breath and focused. If she was to will it, she would find herself back in that place, right? It had all sounded so simple, so easy, and yet for some reason (even though she had seen proof of it), magic still seemed to be terribly fanciful and unrealistic. Fortunately for her, what she thought of magic was wholly irrelevant at this point in time as her Wonder reached out to her and pulled her towards it.

When she next drew breath she found herself standing on the exact same spot she had left from the first time. It had been here that she'd abandoned the Code, apologising that she needed to return to work before her absence was noted, and perhaps it was here that she would find the ring. Unsurprisingly the Wisp had vanished, likely returned to its own place of power, but that warmth and strange sense of familiarity remained as she took in her surroundings and finally began to pick her way towards one of the buildings.

The gardens still needed considerable love and care and she would get to that once she understoof how to help, but for now her gut said that she wouldn't find what she wanted out here.

No.

Something deep inside told her she needed to go there.

Not too far away the largest building stood, overgrown and with limited ways to get inside, her gut told her that if it could then it would have had a neon lighted arrow pointing towards it. A weird sensation for all intents and purposes, but certainly not one to be ignored, and as she drew near she sought out a means to get inside. It took far longer than she would have liked to admit but she did manage to locate a small entry between vines that she could force her way (not very gracefully) through. Suffice it to say that she was lucky this outfit would repair itself in time as the vines tore through portions of the more delicate skirt.

She was inside though.

Immediately hit by the smell of heavy and musky air, tired and aged, utterly undisturbed. This was a place of importance, or it would have been as her slipped feet padded quietly down the corridor, admiring the cracked and splintered stained glass windows as she passed. Could she fix those, or would she have to replace them, and how would she even get the glass of that size up here...?

She shook her head and dismissed the thought for now, proceeding further into the depths of the building until she saw something glimmering atop a rather peculiar piece of 'rock'. It looked a little like what she'd seen in the Celestial Theatre, significantly smaller, but it glowed in the same fashion. Was this where the Wisp lived in her world? At first she had thought the thing above it was the Wisp but as she drew closer and no voice was forthcoming she realised that it might well be something else.

Sure enough, as she drew to a halt, floating just above her very own piece of the Code rested a shimmering ring. While no voice was forthcoming, Serenitatis couldn't help but feel a faint nudge, a reassurance what she required hadn't been forgotten, and when she needed something it would generally be waiting for her. On this occasion the Code may not have been completely present, but it had left what she needed.

A small smile touched upon her lips as she reached out to take the ring from the shimmering bubble. A brief opportunity to admire it as she turned it gently in her palm before finally slipping it on to her finger. A perfect fit, and one that brought her more joy than she'd thought it would as she held out her hand to inspect it again.

"Okay," she murmured softly, to no one in particular. "Now I just need to see if I can get you to work," she continued, giving a small nod of recognition to the Code as she departed and moved towards a place where she could sit and try to draft a small note to some of her new contacts. Admittedly if they received them, the most they would probably receive was 'This is a test - Serenitatis' or in Indavollr's case 'So does this thing work in space? - Serenitatis'... but this was what she spent the better part of thirty minutes attempting.

Once she had sent her little messages, or at least she thought she had, she elected to spend a little more time exploring this particular building. She didn't know what she would find here, but now that she was here she might as well take advantage of it. This was what Athalia had encouraged her to do after all; in his words, if all she ever did was show up to tick off a box on her to-do list, then any secrets that might lurk would never come to the surface.

No.

...She needed to let the Wonder speak to her, and while that didn't make much sense to her now, Athalia had promised that it would in time.

She'd exercise patience and spend the next few hours attempting to see what might hide in each of these rooms.
