        Primary Talent ▬ Acrobatics. She is a natural at a combination of both balance and lunging leaps (15 feet standing / 20 feet running start)
        Faunus Trait/Bonus Talent ▬ Speed. She is capable of sprinting in short bursts up to 25 mph. Up to 5 consecutive posts 1:1 cooldown at max speed.
        Other Talents ▬ Archery. She is gifted with a bow, allowing for an effective range of 750 feet barring extreme weather conditions with unusual accuracy.
        Dual Weapon Handling. In part to being ambidextrous, she has excellent control of multiple weapons being used at once (provided they need only one hand for use), allowing for greater precision and strike speed than average when using two weapons at once.
        LEARNT ABILITIES
        Strongest Skill ▬ Thief Skills, she has learned how to move quietly and stay hidden as well as how to use lockpicks
        Exploitable Weakness
        1) She is not built to withstand a direct hit very well and is overall more vulnerable if you land a direct hit on her.
        2) She also lacks any ability to reliably communicate with others if her choker is removed.
        3) In addition, her training focused more on mobility and sudden strikes and she does not do well in a straight up slugging match.
        4) If her mask is removed, she becomes more focused on getting away than on fighting, knowing her scarring is extremely distinctive and uncomfortable with letting other people see it.
        ►If in a mock battle, either training or exhibition for example, removing her mask will make her concede the match just so she can leave.
        ►In a more serious scenario, she will fall back as much as she can and try to get out of sight until she can cover her scars in some way again.

╫ H I S T O R Y ╫

        BACKGROUND ▬ Amber is an orphan who grew up on the streets of the Darklight District. Abandoned by society and left to struggle without shelter or help from an early age. She got by by raiding trash bins and the occasional spot of begging until she got run off by the more brutal residents of the area. She slept outside in whatever nook or cranny she could find, doing her best to stay hidden at these vulnerable moments. However, one day, when she was seven, that came to an end. She’d picked an out-of-the way spot that was on the turf of some gang, composed entirely of humans who absolutely hated Faunus who stumbled upon her sleeping. Beaten awake, she tried to scramble away, only to be grabbed and beaten until she could barely move before they unceremoniously dragged her off. She was tossed around some dank alley, clubbed with pipes and kicked around for a bit until their group’s leader knelt down, holding her up by a fistful of her hair as he started cracking racially charged jokes about her being a cat. She cried and begged to be let go and their leader seemed to get annoyed at her. The grin that crossed his face as he said “What’s the matter kitty? Don’t like my jokes? C’mon now. Laugh Kitty. Laugh.” and the cackle that followed as he ripped into her face with a jagged knife still haunts her dreams. She remembers a sharp pain in her neck following and then blackness.

        She woke nearly a week later in a room, tucked into a bed with a woman dabbing her neck and face with medicine. She tried to speak, but found she was no longer able to speak. The woman insisted she rested. After nearly a month, she finally got the answers to what had happened and her first look at her horribly mutilated face. From this point on, she always wore a face mask and choker to hide the scars. The woman went by the name of Whisper and was a bit of a Huntress and Lone Mercenary. Knowing the poor girl had no one to look after her and that she’d likely never be adopted with the scarring, Whisper took her in, offering to train her, both so that she might be able to make a living much in the same way as she did, and to be able to defend herself. As Amber grew, she stumbled upon her own semblance as she, in a panic, teleported as she failed to clear a jump during training, likely saving her life. Not much of an expert in training someone in the use of their semblance, Whisper encouraged her to enroll at Beacon, where she’d put in a recommendation herself for the girl, seeing as she never attended Signal. With a bit of help from Whisper, Amber developed a device that would latch onto her choker and read the muscle movements in both her jaw and her throat to allow her to speak despite the destruction of her vocal cords.

Like, she can port up to a rooftop if it is within range if she can see the ledge, or directly behind an object, but she can’t port behind an object that is obscured by another object or to the other side of a building for example.
        Blinking does not negate momentum.
