Bellite was absolutely and completely giddy to have received this promotion. She had been hoping for it for years, and now that it had been bestowed upon her…
She was thrilled. Thrilled and determined not to let anyone down. She wouldn’t be like Sanidine, disappearing into the night.
Though, she had been a little pleased to see Lysithea’s name pop up again in the database. She hoped that the senshi had gotten back to Sanidine, if it was possible for her to. But he…he was popping up all over the database now. Angry notes about how unhinged he was…well. It might be true but.
Sighing, Bellite tapped her fingers on her desk and then smiled brightly, pleased and excited at just what she was planning on doing. The girls were both at the house, she had been notified by the Ring system when Marquette came over, and neither of them had left…and neither of them were stupid enough to power up in the house to teleport somewhere else, so that meant they were both still there.
So that meant…
Drawing in a deep breath, Bellite closed her eyes and thought of the two, trying to summon both Xenia and Wavellite to her office.
The exertion made her feel dizzy, and the room darkened for a moment as she settled but…
When she saw the corrupted super and the captain standing in front of her desk, she grinned.
“Hello girls. Guess who got a promotion.”

Wavellite was in the middle of kissing Fawn senseless, something that was always fun to do when Emilie wasn’t home, when suddenly she was pulled out of the house and into her powered uniform…into an office with Bellite sitting at a desk. General Bellite. Who looked completely and totally smug and…proud of herself, and why shouldn’t she?
“Oh my god! You’re a General now!”
…Hopefully this summoning them didn’t start happening more often…or when she was alone with Fawn.
Sighing softly, she snaked her hand over, lacing fingers with the corrupt, clearly just a little annoyed at being pulled away from their fun.

Fawn wanted to be annoyed about private time with her girlfriend being interrupted, but at least they hadn't been engaged in anything....too shameful. Just some very eager making out. Which was perfectly normal for girls their age.
And when the person that had summoned them was her mom....well, Xenia had to make herself not think too much about what they'd been doing, lest she get all blushy and stupid about it. Which was a lot easier when she realized why they'd been summoned. She let out a delighted squeal and clapped, bouncing on her toes and rocking back onto her heels.
"Oh my god, Mom, you look amazing!" She said, delightedly, and when Wavellite reached over and took her hand, she squeezed it back. "I'm really happy for you! This is new, right?"

Bellite snorted and nodded. “I sure hope that it’s new, it’s not something I would have kept from either of you, that’s for sure.” There was obvious mischief in her eyes and she watched the two with a rather smug expression, guessing that they had been together and feeling…amused that she had broken up whatever indecent thing they were getting up to now.
“I hope that you both know that you two will be transferred under me, officially. Also, I want to make sure that you both get promotions sooner rather than later. This family deserves to be stronger than we are, and since I’ve gotten one…”
Her eyes flickered over Xenia and then Wavellite. “I expect you both to keep up with quotas and join me soon. Wavellite, you will make a fantastic General, and Xenia. My lovely Xenia. You will be the most beautiful and talented Negaverse Senshi that has ever been seen, and yes…I’m quite biased so…prove me right, won’t you?”

Wavellite had to physically resist the urge to huff at Bellite, she was all too obviously enjoying teasing them, and while…srue she might deserve it a little...she didn’t have to rub it in so well.
Clearly she just needed someone to fool around with too so that she could know their pain if she was ever summoned away…but.
Her face scrunched up in thought. Did Generals get summoned away? They were pretty much at the top of the food chain, well. Top ish. There were the Sovereigns but, truthfully…they didn’t seem to get their hands dirty with the day to day, and good for them! They had earned the power and they deserved to order others around. But…
Damn. Now that Bellite had spoken…Wavellite really…really did want to make her proud. Wanted to become a General like she was.
“...I’ll do my best, General Bellite. I can’t promise that it’ll happen soon, but I’ll do my best, and I’ll obviously help Xenia too. And…I’ll try not to distract her…or to be too distracted by her…ah. As much as I can.”

Xenia wiggled excitedly, unable to contain her eagerness at seeing an actual leader come out of their little family. Bellite was a General. Her mom, the woman who had taken her in after she corrupted, one of her favorite people in the whole world, was a General.
Which meant there was totally hope for her and Wave to get to the same position. They just had to work hard and demonstrate how useful they were to the Negaverse, and obviously, promotions would follow. That was just how it worked.
"We'll work really hard together, I promise, Mom!" Xenia said. "And we'll join you at the top as fast as we can!"
If they all demonstrated their worth, that would prove it was all worth it. That Xenia had been right to leave her life behind and choose the Negaverse. Choose Bellite and Wavellite.
Choose to be something better.

Bellite nodded, looking fondly at the two and finally chuckled, shaking her head. “All right, now I’ll let you get back to whatever sort of training exercise that I clearly pulled you away from, but. You had better join me at the top soon. You both deserve it.”
They all did. They were a family and they worked well together. It was clearly a proven fact.
With a wave of her hand, Bellite let them know that they were dismissed and turned back to her own work, pleased and clearly amused.

Wavellite hesitated for only a moment, feeling her cheeks heat up with some embarrassment, but she reached out and took hold of Xenia’s hand, teleporting with her, back to the park near their house. “All right, well. She’s counting on us and clearly.”
Resting herself against a tree as a wave of dizziness hit her, Wavellite grinned. “Clearly we have to actually kee our promises this time, so maybe…we could try to go out more and do more things. The idea of letting your mom down is…honestly terrifying.”
Bellite could make puppy dog eyes that would beat the pants off of any real dogs that were in the vicinity, and that just…wasn’t fair. “How about we go back to…our interrupted….” She coughed and gave a sheepish grin. “...Activities, and then after, start planning ourselves a patrol and training schedule? Do this thing right.Make her really proud.”
Besides. When they were Generals…or, when she was a General and Xenia an Eternal…they would have their own offices, and nobody could just summon them at will…or…nobody who wasn’t super strong could. It would be better and they would get more alone time anyway. A true win/win situation. “Deal?”
Holding her hand out, Wavellite grinned, waggling her eyebrows at Xenia. “If you do agree, and you train real good, I’ll reward you too, by the way. In case you were worried.”

Truth be told, Xenia wasn't really feeling any room to be ashamed. Yeah, okay, they'd been a little called out on what they were getting up to before they arrived, but there was nothing for them to be ashamed of. Not really. And anyway, they were all gonna be equals soon, even if Bellite would always be her mom.
"Will do, Mom!" She saluted, and then she let Wavellite tug her off and teleport them away.
She smiled, and shook her head, waving a hand. "We're not gonna disappoint her. We're already amazing, we just gotta make sure we work to help the higher ups see it. And anyway, since Mom's a General now, I'm sure she'll put in a good word as long as we like, actually stick to that schedule she wants to draw up and all that."
Honestly, it was a great deal. They'd work hard, together. Get promoted, together. Have plenty of time to do whatever they wanted and have underlings to do all the dumb, tedious s**t. Just absolutely the best possible situation. They just had to make sure that it all came together in the end.
She smiled, playful and a little bit smug. Took Wavellite's hand.
"Deal. Now, let's get back to the fun stuff."
The Negaverse could wait just a little while longer, after all.
