Takes place Nov 1->2, 2021

There was nothing more Tanwyn wanted than to escape upstairs to his room, avoid all the commotion happening in the living room, dodge the questions and concerns and leave those for the morning. A little of a cop out on his part, since he was sure his other friends would've appreciated any support he could give. They had to be as tired as he was.

But there was nothing he could do for those two strangers that Nat or Basyl wouldn't be able to do better. More reasonable to just take Gideon and get out of the way. Taking his friend by the arm in a manner that may have been construed as rough, Tanwyn pulled the red head to his side as he headed for the stairs. His room was first down the hall, door perpetually closed as if he might be hiding something behind it. But what could he say? He enjoyed his privacy.

With an unceremonious nudge of his toe to knock the door open, Tanwyn and Gideon successfully made it into the peace of his room. He dropped into the rolling chair at his desk, stretching his long legs out in front of him and tossing his head back against the headrest. It had been an insanely long and bizarre night.

Probably one Gideon was more equipped to handle than he was, but he couldn't help ask, not for the first time that night, "You alright?"
