Ara wanted to be able to help people she felt like she had been neglecting her duties too much which was why she had been just a Super Senshi for so long. She had allowed herself to become complacent and she knew she needed to do more. She was trying to be more vigilant against Chaos and to try and stop all of its evil machinations.
So Ara was wandering around a local park on patrol when she felt the aura of a lieutenant nearby. She quickly hopped from tree to tree making her way at a quick pace towards the source of the aura to see what they were up to. She finally found them, a woman with long dark hair standing over the body of a fallen couple. She grit her teeth, she hated the Negaverse so cavalier about hurting innocent people, not a care in the world as they stole vital life energy from others. Well Ara decided she would teach this one a lesson at least.
So she stood on a tree branch before calling out in the best authoritative voice a high school freshman could muster. "Return the energy now! Or else you'll get a taste of my light!" She threatened.

Akaganeite turned when she heard the shout, and she sighed, deeply. This...person was a Senshi, yes, and technically stronger than her, but she was a solid foot taller and built very strongly. So, she dismissed the energy into subspace, and gave the child an unimpressed look.
"You are a child," she said, "and you are acting as a child, making demands and threats. I will not be derelict in my duty to the Negaverse, but I would feel remiss battering you. So turn around and walk away, and we will not have to have any further unpleasantness."
She was, on thew whole, already bored of this dance. The attack would come or it wouldn't, but most likely it would, the way it always seemed to. She would handle it, but the energy was safety tucked away, and therefore her duty was complete. She doubted a child had the fortitude to kill her. So she would simply have to endure whatever happened and find a way back to Negaspace to turn in her quota.

Ara's eye twitched in anger both at the energy disappearing and the rude dismissal from the Nega. "First of all I'm a teenager not a child! Second of all I am a senshi first and foremost my age doesn't matter. I've fought things a whole lot stronger than you and come out of it just fine." She shouted.
"If you won't return the energy then fine! Infinite Light Parade!" She called out as several motes of intense light appeared behind her lighting up the part of the forest she was standing for a brief moment before they shot toward the officer.
As the light blasted Ara leapt off the tree and shot towards the Officer throwing kicks and punches. She would make this officer regret treating her like just a child. Infinite Light Parade Effect: Six motes of light appear in the air behind Ara and fire toward her opponent(s). The blasts of light knocks an opponent back and blinds them and can at the other player's discretion leave a cut and burn where the light hits them (As a chibi the cut and the burn are minor). Uses: 3 Duration: 25 seconds Reach: 7 feet

Akaganeite raised an eyebrow. The distinction clearly did not matter much to her; she was not impressed by protestations that really, to her, sounded like...well, yet more childishness.
"Ah yes, very ancient and wise, teenagers," she said, dryly. "Especially teenagers who pick fights with grown women twice their size."
Still, she pulled her bokken out of its sheath, and held it up, prepared for the attack she knew was to come. The Senshi had promised light, and light there was--Akaganeite brought up an arm to shield her eyes, but she was still left with spots in her vision, and she couldn't defend herself from the initial hail of attacks. Fighting blind was a hundrance; she had to guess, without one of her primary senses, and so she could only lash out with her bokken, striking int he direction she was fairly certain the Senshi's core was.

"Ha I've fought monsters more than twice your size and killed them. Size isn't everything lady." Ara laughed as she pressed the attack, the woman retaliated with blind strikes with her wooden sword. Ara dodge the first few strikes that were aimed at her core but eventually one shot caught her side. The impact stung and she was sure it would bruise later but it wasn't anything that she couldn't fight through.
Ara jumped back to put some distanct between the two of them and she held up her hand. "Ever heard the saying 'The bigger they are the harder they fall!' Ara Luminescent Starshine!" She called out as she fired a blast of intense light and force at her opponent. Ara Luminescent Starshine Effect: Ara holds her hand up and a mote of light forms in her palm before firing outwards towards her opponent. The blast of light can knock an opponent back and can make their skin feel like it was burned (however as a chibi it does not do any real damage). Uses: 3 Duration: 20 seconds Reach: 5 feet

"All by yourself?" Kaga said, dryly. "How brave. And stupid." The assault did not relent, and she kept swinging, but her vision finally began to clear, and that was enough.
Enough to see the next attack coming; she brought her arm up and turned away again, and this time she was sent flying backwards. Powerful and potent; perhaps she should have not underestimated this particular fighter.
Still, she could push herself up, and stand ready for the girl to come at her again.
"Perhaps so. But while you have knocked me down, I am not down for good yet."

Ara chose to keep the fact that she had in fact not defeated those monsters on her own. It was true that it was her magic that defeated them, the fact that she had only been one person in a large battle was just a....technicality, and one this officer didn't need to know.
Ara watched with a satisfied grin as the woman was knocked back by her magic, it might not have the power to put someone down permanently but her magic still had some bite. She still had a lot more room top grow in terms of power but she could at least stop a lieutenant.
"Then I'll just have to keep knocking you down till you stay down." She charged the woman making sure she got close enough that her attack wouldn't miss. The girl came running at her. Akaganeite took a breath, squared her shoulders, put her weapon away--better to have it out of the way. There was a simple way to end this, one that relied on the difference in their respective sizes, and with this idiot child getting in arm's reach, it was almost too easy--
She heard the magic call. Braced herself for the pain. The force of it. Had to snap a hand out, grab the front of the girl's fuku with both hands, and throw, blindly, and then she took off in the opposite direction.
She was still blinking spots out of her eyes as she fled, but hopefully her opponent would take long enough to stand up that she could get far, far away.
