Zira adored listening to the stories from her older relatives and the warriors in the local village. While some were still a bit against the appearance of the hybrid children, a lot more treated them with love. Her parents' families definitely enjoyed spoiling the children and even now Zira found herself digging through a basket of flowers from her earthling grandfather, the delicate petals and vines seeming somewhat softer since they came from Sauti. The girl was twisting them in her dreads, the softer colors still striking against her white hair, and she couldn't help but to imagine that they were actually growing from her head like in the stories she had recently been told. Such stories was what had prompted today's playful adventure as the youngling gathered a bunch of materials so that she could design a costume of her own making and pretend that she too had been blessed and changed by Aisha or the earthling spirits her grandfather believed in.

"If I'm going to be legendary then I want to sprout all the flowers and vines." She called out with a grin as she twisted around to look for her brother. "What about you, Noll? Did you ever imagine what it could be like if we showed up with strange traits one day?"

A chuckle left Zira's lips. "I don't know how helpful sparkling can be...well maybe you could blind something." The realization made her gaze gleam with excitement. "You're a genius Noll!" If they blinded any opponent or prey then that surely would make their fight go a lot easier! It was a great tactic! The very thought made her giggle as she tried to imagine her sparkling brother covered with crystals walking into the middle of a battlefield. "I just imagined swinging around with my vines or growing healing herbs but I think sparkling is an awesome idea and that mom would love it too."

She glanced over her pile of artist's materials, her lips pursing thoughtfully. "Do you wanna see if we can make you shiny? I have some paints here and maybe we can find some shiny pollen or something that really glitters..." She started shuffling through the materials and gestured for Noll to join her in case he could find something in the various supplies she had gotten from their grandfather. "I'll help you if you help me become legendary with all the plants and vines I gathered."

Zira beamed at her brother's enthusiasm. "Sure!" She chirped before sitting down, a rare sign of patience for the usually energetic girl. "You can pick whatever flowers you want." She instructed as she trusted her brother to make her look awesome. A giggle did leave her lips though as she thought about all the types of plants her hair could have. "Too bad we don't have some active snappers. Could you imagine if I sprouted a pair of those?" She teased while giggling some more at the thought of the vicious plants who could open and close themselves like a trap.

Zira giggled at the thought. "Yes." She replied with a mischievous grin. "Biting hair, the ultimate protection. No one would bother me then." The youngling could only imagine all of the chaos that such a trait would cause! But then it would be perfect if she was ever in a tight situation, it would surely be hard to grapple with someone whose hair was trying to latch onto you! Maybe she really should ponder if Aisha would ever grant a legendary trait like that to someone.

"As many as you would like. I'd like to be able to keep my head up though so hopefully not the full basket." Zira joked lightly before stretching out a leg, her toes bending to tug another satchel closer. Somehow she managed to keep in place as to not disrupt Noll while reaching with a hand once the satchel was close enough to grab. The youngling tried to keep her shoulders straight as possible before digging through the variety of paints. "What do you think? Something silvery or golden for you? There's some blue in here as well that could match your markings." Some of the bell shaped flowers tucked into the satchel had long stamen with pollen that seemingly shimmered and she was prepared to mix those together for her brother's legendary trait.

"Aww, would you be afraid to hang out with me if my hair started biting people?" Teased Zira with a chuckle towards her brother. "I could always try to train the snappers to behave with treats or something." She stuck her tongue out playfully as she wiggled her head and imagined her hair moving. Despite teasing Noll even Zira was somewhat wary of what biting hair could do! What if it decided to pick on her as well? She could already imagine the tips of her ears being prime targets for any hungry flowers.

"You do?" Zira perked up whenever Noll picked out the blue shimmer. "What if I mix a little silver in there too? I'll do lots of blue with some speckles of silver in there like extra shiny spots." She grinned at the thought, the girl squirming as she waited for the final vine to be placed into her hair before finally jumping up so that she could swap places with Noll.

"Okay, your turn! Sit down and I'll get the shimmer ready." She browsed through her supplies before picking up a brush, the girl dipping the tip into the blue shimmer and holding it out towards her brother. "Ready when you are. Shall I start on your face or should we try the arms first?"

Zira pursed her lips at the question. "Maybe? I mean if they're like extensions of myself then that would make sense though sometimes I know I act without thinking." She teased lightly as her father always chastised her for sometimes jumping into things without considering the consequences. A little bit too energetic at times with no regards for her own well being he would always say. Zira nodded at the thought before focusing again on her painting project, the girl making certain that the silver and blue were mixed nicely together.

"Aww, Noll." Zira nearly crushed her brother into a hug before remembering that she had paint in her hands, so she simply grinned at him instead. "You're the best. Thank you for having my back." She absolutely loved her brother and knew that if he ever had biting vines in his hair that she would stay with him as well.

"Brace yourself it may be a bit cold." Zira warned Noll before she began painting, the girl quickly making lines across her brother's cheeks so that he shimmered in the sunlight. "Alright, a few more spots of silver here and then a lot of blue along your arms..." She narrated as she continued dabbing paint along his skin, making certain to circle any crystals so that they truly gleamed like they had a true inner light. "Okay! Finished!" Zira placed the brush down, her own cheeks flecked with a bit of paint from where she had wiped her hands at random on her clothing and face during the whole process. "I guess we can pack up and look at our reflection in the water if you'd like!" She thought he looked awesome and felt confident that she would be the same with her flowers and vines that Noll added.

"Right!" Zira agreed with a big grin. No matter what the girl always felt like she could be truly optimistic because of her brother's support. She truly was thankful that she wasn't an only child like her father who despite his love for his family had grown up to be a bit pricklier because of his childhood experiences as an Aishan hybrid.

A few final flicks of paint and then Zira was hurrying along to help back her own supplies. "Okay, everything is set and I think we're ready!" She gave her brother a thumb's up before glancing around, a mischievous look crossing her features. "Last one there has to pick up after dinner tonight!" She teased before darting away, her laughter trailing along behind her as she pushed forward to try to gain an advantage over her brother in the sudden race.
