How This Works
Match Cards
Matches will be regularly posted and added for the weekly show: XLL Off The Record.
Highlight Matches
Player vs. Enhancement: These for the most part will be considered normal matches where you will be writing your matches with your character facing an enhancement talent. These matches can have as little or as much detail as you wish but understand that the more you put into the product, the more you’ll get back.
Uncut Matches
Player vs. Player: These are the traditional matches we were used to in the past. You will collaborate with a fellow RPer to write a full match.
Each show will be approximately two weeks long and will feature at least one Uncut match. If things pick up and people are able to quickly finish their matches, we may move to one week shows.
A Solo Experience is possible!
You have the option to opt out of Uncut matches entirely in order to tell a story exactly to your vision. However, you will be limited to how far you’re able to climb in the promotion—meaning no achievements like winning tournaments or championships, but you could still headline PPVs if your storyline is especially good!
PPVs
Pay-Per-View events are held four times a year: December, March, June, and October, with the later being reserved for the XLL flagship event. While show match cards normally feature one Uncut match, a PPV will be almost entirely made up of Uncut matches.
Tokyo Deathtrap (Dec)
King of the Jungle (Mar)
Held at Ginasio do Maracanzinho in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Tussle in Texas (Jul)
Held at the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX, USA.
Powercade: Day of the Dead (Oct)
Held at Arena Ciudad de México in Mexico City, Mexico.
Promos and Segments
Promo is short for Promotional Interview. This is when your character is asked questions and insight on a topic or match. A personal monologue during a show is also considered a promo.
A Segment is essentially anything else that features a character during a show that isn't a match or a promo. This can be anything from an interaction between characters or a completely over the top comedic incident.
This is also the forum where you post any event outside of a wrestling show! This could involve characters at home, social media, web shows, anything that contributes to your character's development outside the ring.
