Love is in the air and it is exhausting. It seems everyone is so excited to meet someone new and see if they 'click'. To the point where this new trend has spread across Tendaji - Blind Dates.

The concept is pretty simple - you have a friend (or a matchmaker) set up a date with someone you've never met before. Some find this exhilarating - a chance to go beyond the same old and meet someone new. But others see this as unnecessary anxiety forced upon them by their friends or society's pressure.

Either way, you find yourself set up on a date not of your choosing, with a stranger who you've never met before. This could either be the person of your dreams...or a big mistake. Guess the only thing you can do is see where this date takes you.

For those who are already in a relationship, it's hard to host a 'blind date', but you can get close. It's time to surprise your significant other with a night date, just the two of you. No family, no children, just a chance to spend time with the one you love.

[ It's date night! This prompt should include a date with a stranger, either set up by your friends or by a matchmaker. If you're RPing your character with another, we ask that it be someone new (within reason to where your character is currently located). If you're RPing alone, create a new NPC and see where the night takes you.

Who knows, maybe this will be your character's future partner...or maybe an awkward enemy. What's the harm in the name of love?

For those who have characters already in a relationship, we're instead looking for a "Surprise Date" where one of the partners surprises the other with ad ate experience. ]

Blind dates were definitely up his alley. That and they were fun. So when he'd heard about them he instantly signed up. Not only did he get to meet new people because of them but he might even get to have a bit of fun. Of course he was a bit surprised when he heard that his date was a Yaeli lady by the name of Vaena. He wasn't expecting a Yaeli at all really. Not that he was against it.

He walked into the tavern with his usual confidence and cast a glance around. When he spotted Vaena, or who he assumed was Vaena, she looked to be fidgeting with her hands. Was she nervous? Ilkay had his usual half smirk on as he made his way over to the table she sat at. "Hello Sugar, are you Vaena?" First things first, he needed to make sure this was his date before he took a seat, though if it wasn't he might see if the lady was alright before he moved along.

"I would be your date, yes." He noticed the way she looked at him but only continued to smile at her. When she expressed a wish to not be called a pet name he offered a nod. "I use the term for everyone, its a habit. However, I will make an effort not to call you by it." Ilkay usually didn't care when someone told him not to use the term but seeing as how he was meant to be 'dating' the girl in front of him he supposed he could be nicer towards her preferences.

He slid into the available seat and got himself settled. "Did you have a good day?" The hybrid male was curious to see what the temperature was going to be like with his date for the evening. If she'd had a good day then it might not go so bad but if she hadn't then he wasn't sure he'd be able to lift her spirits since she seemed determined to remain icy.
