Sometimes, when you trained under a himbo and a flaming torch, you ended up making stupid decisions. And moving to attack a person who felt as though they were on the level of his General really…seemed to be one of those stupid decisions. There had been a moment of hesitation where Celadonite weighed his options. Perhaps he still had the time to slink away, to run and dispel his powered state and…not get into a fight that he couldn't win but…
Heck on that. He wouldn’t really be worth anything if that was the attitude he was taking. Himbo wouldn’t act like that, and neither would his Faustite. Faustite would go up against God, no matter if he could win or not.
So, stupid and pointless as it might be, Celadonite swiftly moved towards the aura of the Knight, summoning his poor excuse for a weapon and slinging it back, launched it at the pink, frilly pirate with all of the strength he could muster.
Perhaps he couldn’t win the fight, but he sure as hell would try. And with any luck, he would knock her out with this throw and just be able to steal her starseed, and then both of her superiors would have to reward him.
The cheesy grin that passed over his face was entirely unfeigned.

Aventine was only out tonight because she had to make up a little lost time. Tortali had already been out powering up, and now she was pretty rusty by comparison. She needed to get back into the game. She sensed a Chaos signature–a little baby, teenie tiny Negaverse Lieutenant.
She hadn’t thought anything of it. It wasn’t a threat! It wasn’t going to give her a hard time? She was a Knight!
She was under attack.
Aventine let out a startled yelp at the unintimidating assault; she was surprised, but unharmed.
Immediately she spun, and she saw the little baby, teenie tiny Negaverse Lieutenant.
“Um! Excuse me, what do you think you are doing?”

Celadonite stared, his lips puckered as he tried to figure out why that hadn’t worked the way he had hoped it would. He had thrown the dumb toy as hard as he could, and it had hit but…clearly it wasn’t enough. He should have known it wouldn’t be enough but…it was all that he had and…
Damnit.
“I’m fighting you, you pink ********. Obviously. I guess your bad taste in fashion has caused your brain to become a little addled. Or a lot addled.” He sneered, putting all of his energy into seeming more confident than he was. It would work. It worked for Albite all the damn time, didn’t it?
“I’ll take your surrender if you wish to give it, and I’ll make it painless when I claim your starseed as my trophy, if you’re going to be smart about it! You know, if you’re really smart about it. I might even let you live. We could use more smart people on the right side of things. It wouldn’t take long to bring you over, I’m sure.”

Aventine again flustered. “Excuse me?” she said again, this time louder and more demanding. “What did you call me? Come here you little s**t,” she said, and immediately stomped towards him.
“I look ******** cute you tasteless rat. What did you throw at me? A toy? Did you think you could take me down with a toy?”
She pulled off her hat and was in front of him in a matter of seconds, and then she started hitting him with it. It wasn’t painful, not really. Annoying, sure. The hat was a bit stiff but she wasn’t punching him, or kneeing him between the legs like she wanted to. She didn’t expect him to thank her, but he really should have.
“I should tie your hair in knots and send you home drenched in perfume. Don’t mess with me! I’m not going to let you ruin my night, apologize.”

Jesus Christ. This b***h was utterly and completely batshit. Celadonite tried to continue to act cool and collected, but he hadn’t expected to be hit by her stupid, ugly hat, like she was son old lady and he was someone trying to steal her purse.
She was talking like an old lady too, and for a moment, Celadonite just grabbed, his hands closing around the obnoxious feather that adorned the hat. When he realized what he had grabbed, he pulled, ripping the feather right off and flinging it into the Knight’s face. “You’re a ******** lunatic. A badly dressed, old lady ******** lunatic.”
Honestly, Celadonite didn’t think that she could be that much older than he was, but god she was acting like it. And dressed like it. There was no way in hell he would ever go to the other side of things. They all dressed so tacky and it just…
It was disgusting. “******** off you old bat. If you really just want to be a psycho, then fine. I’ll leave you be. But one of these days, I’ll be back. And then we’ll see who’s the better of the two of us, yeah? And you’ll be ******** sorry. I’ll see that you have something more flattering to wear then too. Either that or I’ll give your starseed as a gift to my fantastic General.” He sneered and then broke into a run, moving as quickly as he could, wanting to get away from this freak before she could make good on her promise to dump perfume on him.
…That would be hella awkward to explain to his boys, after all.

Aventine was further offended by the disgraceful manner in which he abused her poor hat. It would repair itself, she knew this, but the disrespect!
“You’d better run,” she muttered under her breath. She watched him until he was out of sight and then sighed as she ran her hand over the fabric of the hat. “Oh, you poor thing. You’ll be okay.”
She patted the side of it, as if to reassure it.
She hadn’t intended to tell Juniper that she’d gone out tonight, but now she was so cranky about these drive by Negaverse attacks that she didn’t even have it in her to stay out anymore–she needed to go home and whine about this immediately.
And, she needed to hear that she was cute.
