She didn't sign herself up for this, no way. This had to have been Hyten playing a prank on her. Faylen didn't much think about dating. She didn't really think much about anything other than learning what her father did for a living. It was interesting, watching him sell, trade, buy, bargain, and sometimes plead for deals and materials he wanted.
Still, someone said she'd be somewhere, and so she felt obligated. It wasn't like she was doing anything, anyway. The cart was shut down right now for repairs.
The beach was a good place for a date, right? Not that Faylen would know, she'd never been on a date.
She saw someone waiting where she'd been told they would and her face flushed a deep shade of red as she slowly approached.
"...Uh.. are you... here for a...blind date?" Faylen asked, hesitant even as she had to speak over the waves.
