For a while, things had been quiet but then his Mother had started to show and soon they waited on a dark and stormy night for a new sibling to appear. Tethys, as their new little brother had been named, looked like a mix of himself and Thallassa. Fast forward a few years and their youngest brother was now able to come on adventures with them. Today would be his debut. Unsurprisingly he seemed to get along with the critters really well.

Their family kept expanding, to him it was the more the merrier. Tethys was energetic but no worse than Ushi had been. They had the itch to go adventuring but there was not much of a plan yet. “ Which direction do you want to go Tethys? Is there something in particular that you want to do on this trip?”

He thought really hard about where he wanted to go. “I want to go to Yael and get a snake like Einsol has… or two.” He was obsessed with Sol. He thought Einsol was just the coolest.. well besides his brothers they were pretty cool too. He has not seem much of Kina since she had moved to Zena. He often wondered what she would be like.

“Well then, this will be a longer trip than we thought. Cool that we get to go on a boat though.” He was always up for being out on the water. He packed extra coin and more supplies, loading up the pack janarim his Father had generously donated for the trip, with the caveat that the beast was only partially trained. They could handle it though, being half decent at their crafts by now.

He could tell that his Brother was not heartbroken with this new development. Neither was he for that matter. He also wanted to see Yael now that he thought about it. They wouldn't be there for too long. The atmosphere not being all that great for them in that area. But they could easily tame a beast or two and run home after. If Tethys didn't see one for sale in the village that he liked.

He couldn't believe it, just like that he was going to Yael. HIs brothers both seemed game for an interesting adventure. Maybe one of them would want a Keldari too. The more sneks the better in his eyes. Sneks were best. He liked the three young janarim on the trip too. HIs Dad had told him that he could name them if he wanted. Which of course he did.

His little brother as all but vibrating with excitement and his older brother wasn't that far from it based on the glint in his bright eyes and the smile hiding in that beard of his. Thallassa looked like the spokes model for dashing ranger type. Though he was aware that he wasn't all that hard on the eyes either. "Hurry up then, you two, lets go." NO time like right meow after all. He laughed as he started up the trail.

This was how he could tell that his brother was in good spirits. Ushiwa a never jogged like that unless he was extremely excited about something. It was a job that his brother could maintain for house non stop. Thal got tired just thinking about it. He liked to wander and inspect and sus out a places secrets with great interest, focus and detail.

It was a lot of fun to see both of his Brothers so animated and excited for their adventure. It made him feel very proud for choosing what was apparently a very cool place. Or maybe they just both wanted to met Yaeli ladies. He pondered, could be either one or both. He was interested only in the critters, girls were yucky.

The trip to Yael was long but mostly uneventful. It was when they docked that the three brothers excitedly faced the Yaelish jungle. He would remember that specific moment forever. It looked like a jungle but so many things about it were incredibly strange. Like seeing one’s reflection in a pool that was disturbed, off enough to make it uncomfortable. He missedd home but was to excited to pause for too long. Restlessly he started moving.

“That was it?” He asked as Ushi broke the spell they had been in. “You just going to charge in there Ushi? We need a little advice before we go stomping in there. Tethys needs to be safe as possible or Mom will hang us out to dry.” He didn’t fear his Mom just her maternal instincts. Which were phenomenal.

He frowned. He didn’t need to be babied!
He walked after Ushi, ignoring Thal. Until he got close enough to see the strangeness, then he backpedaled back to Tal. It looked… well it looked creepy in there. They should at least get a little advice on where not to go. Just to be thorough. He would like to live to see home after all.

Perhaps his brother had a point. He turned and joined the others as they followed the well trodden path that would presumably lead to town. He glances wistfully back over the ocean, feeling exposed in the open.
“Best to get an Inn first.” He said as if he hadn’t just about dove headfirst into the foreign jungle edge.

He rolled his eyes privately at the antics of his two brothers. Apparently the spots equated to high levels of stubborness and a propensity not to listen to reason. Somehow it didn't affect his dear Mother. She could keep this lot in line. Even Ushi respected her. Mus be the surgical kit she had for sewing animals up where magic could not.

He trailed after his brothers, keeping a hand locked in the sadh of whichever Brother was closest, sometimes switching to the other sibling if he felt like it, or if one hand got tired. Yael, they had made it. The town came into sight and he drank in all of the strange colors and people. They in turn stared right back at him and his brothers.
