Langite felt an aura that wasn’t completely familiar, though…ah. It was something he had encountered once, though weaker than she had been. The one he and Ilse had brought in, the one who wanted to be a princess and they had granted that wish, and done it well, or at least he thought so.
Quietly he made his way over and took in the long black hair and purple outfit with a bland expression, though his eyes were taking in every detail. “Good evening.”
He took a moment, watching still, thoughtful, wondering if this would be another case where he could do the same…only Ilse wasn’t with him. Hopefully she had found her happiness. He would try to find out, one of these days. “You seem quite alone.” And that was good, it would make things easier.
“I long.” His eyes held those of the purple clad page, and then he looked away, closing them.
If he could bring another one of these back with him, that would be good. It would be him doing just what needed to be done.

Necromanteion paused when he felt the aura. He wondered for a moment, if it was the Lieutenant he had met a few months ago. So when he saw that it wasn't, Necro sighed. Probably just as well, he wasn't up for being taunted about his uniform tonight. "Good evening to you too." Necro said softly, shifting his weight awkwardly as the other seemed to inspect him. He had been about to make a quip that he was allowed to be alone. That he wasn't a child. He didn't need supervision but that died on his tongue as the magic kicked in. Necro rubbed at his chest, over his heart with a grimace and blinked back tears. "...And what did I do to deserve that...?" He grumbled. Not that he had even done anything besides stand there. Though he supposed he should be grateful. At least this didn't cause any physical harm... That was the last conversation he wanted to have with Evan or Tobi right now.

Langite watched him, his face impassive. “I simply wanted to see how you would react. Clearly you’re longing for something badly, and you know that you won’t get it. It’s a shame. I pity you.” Perhaps that wasn’t the truth, perhaps it was simply the magic doing what it did best, but there were tears. An opening. Driving a wedge into the opening and finding what made this one tick was going to be simple.
“If you were to tell me your problem, I am sure that I could find a solution for you. Or help you on the road to finding one.”
A solution that would hopefully end up the way of the other one like he was. With a General Sovereign’s hand in his chest. “We don’t have to be enemies.”

Necro scowled, rubbing at his eyes. Yes, there was something he wanted... Yes, he knew he might not get it. He knew. His dreams and nightmares wouldn't let him forget it. He took a breathe, trying to calm himself down. "I know what your solution is." He said with one last sniffle as he straightened himself. "Your solution is to see a Sovereign's hand in my chest, or to add my starseed to your quota." Necro shook his head, hands balling into fists. "No, we don't have to be enemies.. But being on the same side wouldn't make us friends. I won't go back there again." He wouldn't be something he wasn't. That wasn't him anymore. He might not get what he wanted in the end. But he could still be there for them. All of them.

He huffed a laugh and nodded, taking a step closer. “Of course it is. You would be happier with us. Happier fighting for the Earth. Fighting against the invaders. You wouldn’t be the first person I brought over. It would be better, you know.”
Langite toyed with the idea of using his magic again, but decided against it and closed the space between the two of them, reaching out and brushing his thumb over one of the tear tracks. “Again? You mean you were already with us and you left? Why is that?”
It was unexpected and the corrupt paused, staring at the long haired page in some confusion. “Why would you want to go against those of us fighting to protect what is ours?”

"I was miserable, with you. I had no life there." Necro grumbled, jerking his head away from the other's hand. "I left, because I wasn't even one of you. I was beneath you. A youma. Not even an Agent. I was nothing more then a tool." As he had said, he had no life. Necromanteion was just grateful that both his bonded Agents proved to be better people.
"I don't remember how I turned, but I've lost my life once because of Chaos. I won't lose it again just because you have a quota to fill. I have that life now, and I'm going to fight for it, whether or not I get the things that I want." He didn't care if he got hurt in the process. It would be worth it.

Langite froze, staring and falling silent as he watched the Page, hand still raised from trying to provide some comfort. “...You were…a youma? And now you’re not? May I inquire how that came to be? I didn’t realize that the youma were people.”
Half youma were different, of course. But the mindless monsters that roamed the shadows? Those were…people? Perhaps former invaders who had been punished? That…would make some sense. But.
“I will settle for taking your energy, if you refuse my other offer. I have a quota to fill on that as well, and that will do no lasting harm to you.” Langite watched him, knowing that perhaps this was pushing buttons a bit too far but…
He had to try. He had to get something out of this.

"I was..." He said softly. "I was... a rather large canine like creature." Why was he even telling the other this. Necro sighed. "I'm not now... because I had friends on this side who cared about me, wanted a better life for me. I'm here because of them." Necro frowned, tilting his head at the corrupt. "They all are... both big and small. They were all once people. The process itself is a quite a bit and seems to take a lot out of those involved but I'm still grateful to them for what they've done for me." Necro paused. "What do I get out of it?" He asked. "I still don't even know your name, yet you've attacked me and gotten info out of me." Was he really considering giving up some of his energy? What if this was a trap? Good this was a stupid idea. "Fine."

A dog. He was a dog youma…how…interesting. Langite had no idea that they had been people…that was…truly disturbing. The expression on his face was a mixture of disgusted and interested, though when he was asked what he would get out of it, Langite couldn’t help the small quirk of his lips.
“If you will agree so easily, what was the point of complaining in the first place?” He reached out, taking the Page’s hand and beginning to draw energy from him, humming softly. “My name is Langite. It is a pleasure to meet you, former youma. I am pleased that you were able to be saved. I didn’t realize that the youma were creatures which were worth saving…so. This meeting has taught me more than I would have ever expected.”
He broke off the energy collection and bowed over Necro’s hand, kissing his fingertips lightly. “Thank you for the energy as well. I am sorry that I can’t persuade you to come back to us. As a person, of course…but. Perhaps the next time we meet I’ll find a new argument.”

"Would you rather I had said no? Now you can go skulk off and attack someone else for no reason at all." Necromanteion said. Though his face morphed into a scowl. "It's Necromanteion. Not youma." That wasn't him. Not anymore. "Everyone is worth saving. But I understand that not everyone wants to be saved." The Page jerked his fingers free of the others hold a frown. "Save your arguments. I'm not going back. I won't."

Langite took a step backwards, his expression cooling until it was as blank as that of a doll’s. What…a rude reaction. And here he thought he had been being…mostly kind. Oh well. Some people weren’t worth saving, it seemed.
“Necromanteion, very well. I will remember that then. I will withhold my arguments. If you do not wish to join us, that is fine.” It simply meant that you were someone who didn’t want to be saved. Didn’t want to save this planet from the invasion happening on it.
Langite gave a half bow and turned away, not bothering to say anything else to the Page. Not bothering to even give the courtesy of a farewell. Enemies didn’t deserve such courtesy, after all. Necromanteion had made himself an enemy this night. And that was all on him.
