Iðavöllr wasn't sure why she had gone to the park, but it seemed somehow like her feet had ended up taking her in that direction anyway.
Perhaps it was habit.
Perhaps - after all the park had somehow ended up being the place where she and Liryn would often meet up, to the point where it was kind of feeling a little strange that she was there and he wasn't - particularly as she didn't have any plans to meet up with the short little fluffy talking tabby talking cat–
Well at least not tonight she didn't.
Although Iðavöllr was pretty sure that the small talking cat would have probably invited himself along if he'd known that she was planning to visit her Wonder - or at the very least was planning to try and visit her Wonder given that she still wasn't sure why the last attempt had worked, when the attempt - and week and a half or so after that first visit had failed.
Still, whilst Liryn was very sweet and made for nice (if somewhat bossy in a very feline way) company, Iðavöllr didn't want to end up always relying on him - because at some point she knew that she was going to have to figure things out on her own - well at least some things. She eyed the bag that she had bought with her with a slightly wry quirk of the lips, knowing that she probably could have just used the subspace pocket that Liryn had told her about–
But there was something nice having something to hold on to, even if having a magical mystery pocket or whatever it was that the subspace pocket fell under was undoubtedly something that was more convenient.
"I pledge my life and loyalty to Polaris, and to Iðavöllr… I humbly request your aid, so that in return I may give you mine."
And the words had come to her just as easily as the previous time as the surroundings of the park faded away to be replaced with the snow covered landscape of her Wonder.
And Iðavöllr was very much glad of the fact that her boots were both warm and surprisingly sturdy as she made her way purposely towards the garden of tangled frozen flowers that she was privately calling frosted star flowers.
She had come prepared with a couple of gardening books for beginners, knee pads, a thermos of tea, hand warmers, and the gardening gloves and pair of secateurs that had cost far more than she had really wanted to pay - but had been assured by the store clerk that they were both pretty sturdy when she (or rather Saffron) had ventured down to the gardening store–
And well at the gloves at least seemed like they would be relatively warm, even if she was yet to be convinced that the money that she had ended shelling out on everything would turn out to be worth it.
In the end Iðavöllr had ended up leaving the bag in the entranceway of the hall, after realising that it was perhaps more suited for her day to day job as Saffron rather than her (at least to her) rather mad decision to try her hand at impromptu gardening up on her Wonder as a part of her wondered if Ragna would make an appearance as she had on previous occasions.
She didn't, Iðavöllr finding herself alone as she settled herself down and gingerly settled down to work, awkwardly using the secateurs to carefully snip at the flowers–
And once she had finally managed to fall into some semblance of a pattern it had ended being more relaxing than she would have thought - even if she knew that the final result wasn't that great and her efforts hadn't really made that much of a dent in the wild chaos of what had once been a garden.
Iðavöllr carefully stacked up the clippings into a small pile and decided that she didn't care - after all it wasn't like Rome had been built in a day.
For now, however, there was a thermos full of tea with her name on it just waiting for her–
And maybe she'd spend a little time working on calling on her Aspect as Ragna had taught her before she returned back to Destiny City.
Iðavöllr activated the hand warmers and curled her hands around them gratefully before making her way back towards the hall.
Perhaps she would - work on calling on her Aspect–
But not before the tea, because right at this particular moment tea came first.
