Langite wasn’t one to normally go towards other auras, it wasn’t in his character, or in his nature to seek out others, even if he did enjoy being sought out himself, though the feeling of another corrupted senshi had him moving towards it, instead of leaving it to fate to bring them towards him.
Idly, he hoped that it was Ilse, the sad one he had seen not so very long ago who had been faced with a difficult choice, but as he neared the senshi, seeing bright reds and yellows against the black of her fuku, he knew that it wasn’t Ilse.
She didn’t seem sad like Ilse either, so that was a plus, obviously. Though, because he had discovered it wasn’t who he thought it was, Langite wanted to simply melt back into the darkness and leave...but as he had seen her, he was quite sure the opposite was true and she had seen him as well.
With a nearly inaudible sigh, he made his way over, inclining his head by way of a greeting. “I am Langite, Senshi of Longing. Who do I have the pleasure of meeting tonight?”

Suzaku hadn't realized there was another signature around until it was too close. Shoot... She should have been paying closer attention. The senshi turned, facing the source and the voice.
"Suzaku, Senshi of the South. It's nice to meet you Langite." She nodded back at him, shifting her weight awkwardly. "How can I help you?"

“My apologies for startling you. It was not my intention. I had thought perhaps you would be a friend of mine, but I was mistaken.” He paused and shook his head slowly after a moment. “That is not to say I am against friendship in the future, and I apologize again if my words were taken in such a way. Senshi…of the South? What does that…mean? South as in the direction, or the place?”
It was such a strange sphere, and it intrigued him. “What kind of magic do you possess that goes with such a power? Do you simply cause people to overheat? Or to talk with an appalling accent? Or perhaps to have cravings for things that should not be eaten?” He knew in this country at least, the southern states were known for some very strange ideas of what was enjoyable food.
“I would like to see what it is, if you have a moment, unless it involves any sort of meat flavors, if that is the case, please forget my request.”
He hadn’t had another’s magic used on him…and honestly? He was a little excited to try.

"No no... It's fine I was distracted." She had to giggle back a laugh as he continued on. "The uh... direction. At least... I think so. It's what I've always assumed anyway." She didn't remember anything past a certain point.
"Ah...I make people think they're stuck in a cylinder of fire. It's not actual fire, but it still packs a punch. Sooo... I guess, yeah they overheat?" Suzaku could not stop the giggles this time however. "I don't think I'd be of much use to the Negaverse if my magic made them talk funny... I'd be more useful as a youma."
She tilted her head, eyeing his uniform. "It would mess up your robes... I can't imagine it would do any favors for your hair either..." Still though... It wasn't every day someone asked to have magic tested on them... "I can though, if you really want. And uh... I suppose it would only be fair for you to return the favor and use your magic..."
Welp... Here went nothing.
"Southern Wind." She said, pointing at Langite.
Saying the name of her attack, Suzaku points at an enemy. The spectral image of a firebird comes from behind them and starts spinning around them. This causes the person to be enveloped in a cylinder of fire. The fire is obviously not real, but if they were to try and run through it, it would still hurt. Inside the cylinder, the person is blasted with hot, dry air. This attack can be used on one to two people at a clip. Suzaku can use this attack three times, though the magic only lasts for twenty-five seconds.

Langite nodded in agreement. He was always happy to make sure his own magic was working as intended. It was always good to know that he wasn’t defective…or whatever.
He wasn’t expecting her to just go for it, but truthfully, he could admire that. It was good to just go for things.
For a moment, the light coming from being him, made Langite turn and gasp softly. The firebird was lovely. He hadn’t been expecting that aspect to her magic. Why didn’t his come with such beautiful visual representations? It didn’t seem fair, and perhaps he would lodge a complaint with Lopezite just to see if anything could be done. If nothing could, that was fine, but.
The heat grew intense, and it almost seemed as though the air itself was drying out. His breathing became difficult and burned all the way down, and she had been right. It was doing nothing for his ground length hair. The long white locks flew upwards in the wind, whipping around and growing terribly tangled.
When the magic faded, Langite nodded slowly and gave a soft cough, working hard not to let his body tremble the way that it wanted to. That…had been rather an ordeal. “Your magic is quite wonderful, isn’t it?”
He watched her for a moment and then closed his eyes, looking away. “I long.”
[Mistress Morbid]
Langite looks at his target and then closes his eyes and looks away, and a powerful feeling of longing comes over them. The feeling of wanting, needing something that is just out of reach. May cause chest pains or utterly unwanted tears. It is a good distraction, can affect one person who is within a seven foot range, and lasts for thirty seconds. Two Uses.

Suzaku gave him a soft smile, fixing a few stray strands of his hair. "I suppose it is quite nice..." A concerned look came over her as he looked away, before being swept up in his magic.
Something pulled at her chest. An all too familiar feeling she'd been dealing with that day. She blinked rapidly, as tears began forming in her eyes. Suzaku sniffled and rubbed at her eyes. "Ah.." Was this his magic? Or was it her emotions getting out of control again. "I'm... I'm sorry." Suzaku said softly. "That's.... quite a powerful magic." She took a shaky breathe. "I'd hate to be on the receiving end of that when you become an Eternal..."

Langite watched her for a moment and then drew a small pack of tissues from out of his subspace pocket, holding them out to Suzaku without a word. They were they in case he ever ran into Ilse or someone else who was emotional but…it seemed like an important thing to carry around with him, just for the sake of the things his magic did to people.
“There is no need for apologies. Would you like to talk about what’s wrong? I am terrible for advice, most of the time, but I have been told that I am a very good listener. If you are affected so deeply by my magic, you must be longing for something important. Do you know what it could be?”

Suzaku took the tissues with a small thank you. "I just... feel as if I've forgotten something. Something important." She didn't know how to explain it properly. "My heart feels heavy and empty all at the same time. It's why I hadn't noticed you at first." She'd been distracted. Suzaku wiped at her eyes. "I feel as I'm longing for quite a few things... But I don't know where to start..."

Langite hummed softly and sighed. “Friendship is a good place to start, I think. Already you seem to be on the right path, after all fate decided that our paths should cross. That is a step to filling your heart with something new. Friends can curb a lot of the feelings of longing, I have found. Go out more often. Find others to talk to. Don’t stay alone all of the time. If you wish it, I would enjoy being your friend. I will protect you if we ever come across anyone who poses a threat, and I hope that you would do the same for me.”
He hesitated, and then patted her shoulder. “You will be okay, Suzaku. You aren’t alone.”

"I've been trying to make friends..." Things had just been a bit intimidating... Remembering nothing... Knowing no one... "I'm trying to learn what I can.. About the Negaverse, about myself." If she was honest, it was all a bit scary.
But, he made sense.
Staying at home was getting her nowhere, as was wandering aimlessly around the city. Distractions or not.
She laughed lightly. "I think you just wanna play with my magic some more.." Suzaku said, trying to steady her breathe. "But... Yeah. I would like that, very much actually.. Thank you, Langite."

He gave a small smile at her attempt at a joke, though shook his head. “Not so. I want to make sure that you’re all right. Here.” Langite took a small notepad and pen from his subspace pocket and jotted his phone number down on it, hanging th e slip of paper to Suzaku. “Call me or text me if you would like to hang out or patrol. I do work Monday through Friday from nine to five, so keep that in mind if you don’t hear from me quickly.”
Giving a small bow, Langite gave yet another small smile. “I hope your night turns around, Suzaku. You deserve happiness. Go and get yourself a treat. Ice cream, or something sweet if it is your inclination.”
A nod of his head and a soft. “Until we meet again.” And Langite went on his way.
Though, he did hope she would text him sooner rather than later.
