Dagon was beginning to develop a strategy for the handling of Chaos auras that came her way. They were a dark, sickening blot--especially the ones called Corrupted Senshi. An apt name. They were corruptions of the natural order, perversions of what a Senshi ought to be, monsters crafted to serve Chaos.
She hated them. It was irrational, perhaps. Unfair, as well; it wasn't as if she had taken the time to learn their reasons for serving. But the hatred was there, and it bubbled and festered, and every time she felt one fot hose vile corrupted auras, she beelined for it, and once she spotted her target, she called on her magic.
She approached slowly, the click of heels on the rooftop where she had spotted her prey the only signal that there might be something humanoid under the monster the fog made her.
"You know, Corrupt," she said, grinning, "every other one of your fellows I've met has fled at the sight of me. Tell me: are you a gutless coward, too?"Sailor Scout Attack: Dreadful Aspect! Dagon touches her fist to her chest, and a strange fog begins to swirl around her. Enemies within ten feet of Dagon will see her as something monstrous and dreadful, and experience a sense of oncoming doom in her presence. These effects last for 30 seconds, and Dagon can use this spell three times per battle.

Once set out on her task, Mizuki stayed true to it. Had she brought any starseeds yet? No, but she would. The only problem was that most White Mooners traveled in packs, and Mizuki was only so strong. Sometimes she could find one off the beaten path and fight, but never got them to a point where she could slip her hand in their chests. It did feel really good to fight them though.
This wasn't much different, though the senshi who showed up definitely was. Not that Mizuki could see the senshi inside the monstrous fog. It was quite an interesting attack, oh and that doom pooling in her belly? Delicious. A large portion of her body did in fact want to run, want to flee the certain destruction coming her way. Only problem was that Mizuki feared absolutely nothing, even eldritch horrors from the beyond.
"Well isn't that a neat little trick. I wonder what's hiding behind the monster..." she said, vaulting up to the rooftop where the fog monster resided, and held a hand out. "I would so love to know if you feel anything at all! Lilac Petal Dance!"
Bright purple lilac petals materialized from her hand and flew at the fog, dripping in misfortune and loss. Oh how she wanted to see whatever was hiding there...
Sailor Scout Attack: Lilac Petal Dance When Mizuki calls her magic, purple lilac petals fly towards her opponent. They dance around her opponent and bring a sense of longing towards a first love, innocence lost, or something else the person has lost. This disorients an enemy for 25 seconds, has a range of 15 ft and can be used 3 times a battle.

Ah, good. Not a coward. Someone who, even in the face of a monster coming for them, would stand and fight.
Dagon liked that.
She moved to attack, and that meant moving straight into the lilac petals--
And she froze.
The fog dissipated. So too did her monstrous form. Revealed was Dagon, herself and alone.
She thought of Kalari. Of their first kiss, under the moon of an alien planet, on a beach Dagon had not seen for a thousand years. She thought of their daughter, of Adalinn's first smile, and her first steps, and how she had dreamed of being a Knight someday, but her life had been cut short. Both of their lives had.
For a moment, it was as if she was back there, staggering through the door, finding their cold corpses on the ground.
She roared, rage and pain and grief all, and launched herself at Mizuki, full body, in an effort to tackle her to the ground. She couldn't pull a starseed, like Viatrix said the Negaverse could do. But she could beat, with her bare hands, punish this monster for daring to draw up the memory of the people Dagon had loved and lost.

What hid among the smoke was a woman Mizuki had never seen before; hell a human she'd never seen before. Finned ears, pale blue skin, and a fury unlike any other in her yellow eyes. The shock of it - the fact that this senshi wasn't even human - caught Mizuki off guard enough that she froze. The rage filled senshi slammed into her, tackling her to the ground. She grunted in pain and put on her best panicked and scared face as Dagon wailed on her. Mizuki did her best to try to keep her head protected, hands up in front of her face.
"Pl-please no! Was... was it something I said?" she said, expression and mood shifting like a switch. Her blood sang with the thrill of the fight, of the potential killing she could do right here, right now, and bring this alien to her Generals. Maybe she'd only pull her starseed long enough to summon her Generals, to trap her so they could bring this force of nature to their side.
Or just kill her. It was always such a toss up!
Dagon may not be able to pull a starseed, but Mizuki could. She lashed out her hand, trying to find an opening to sink it into Dagon's chest.

"Shut. Your. Mouth," Dagon snarled. The cute, innocent, frightened act--this was not the same as the girl who had challenged her, and Dagon was more inclined to believe the challenge than the piteous whining after. Or, perhaps, the piteous whining was real--but with the memory of her murdered family so close to mind, Dagon was very, very low on pity.
So she kept raining down punches, heedless of her own safety; if the girl managed to get her hand through and get a grip on Dagon's starseed, then that was just what was going to happen. She would figure it out as it came.
"If you want mercy, you sohuld have tried not being Chaos-corrupted garbage."

Mizuki took a good few punches to the face, still trying to grab for the senshi's starseed, but ultimately protecting her face and head became more important. Dagon was snarling something at her about how she was garbage, and Mizuki's eyes flared.
"Garbage? GARBAGE!? Metallia gave me life! Gave me purpose! Freed me from everything shackling me to the past! You are the garbage one, not wanting to be free!" she spat back, angry and defiant. She shoved with her hips, aiming to throw Dagon off balance and over her head, and dove with both hands towards her chest.
"LILAC PETALS!" she shouted, calling just short of her magic and diving her hand into the senshi's chest instead.

"Metallia stole you! Twisted you away from what you could have become!" Dagon snarled out her rage. "You will help her burn the universe, and I will not allow it!"
She struggled, but the shove knocked her off balance, and she gasped--
And then there was a hand in her chest, and her entire world froze. This was it. The terrible, awful power of the Negaverse to reach in and grab her soul.
She had one gamble. One idea.
"Dreadful Aspect!"
Her magic howled to hand, transforming her once again, and she used what she hoped might be a moment of shock to bring her hands around and dig her nails into the Senshi's wrist as hard as she could.

Mizuki expected the sudden rush of doom and the monstrous appearance that settled over Dagon - hell, that settled over Mizuki. Inside it as she was though, Zuzu could still see the form of Dagon among the fog. Could still feel her hand in the senshi's chest. Her fingers curled around her very core and she grinned victorious, even as her body began to panic and twitch with the desire to put space between her and Dagon.
She screeched as Dagon sank her nails into her wrist hard enough to pierce the skin and compress the tendons below. Her hand spasmed, letting go of the starseed. Zuzu yanked her hand back, blood dripping onto her uniform, and screeched at the monstrous senshi.
"YOU LITTLE ALIEN b***h!" She bucked her hips, hard, and rolled to get out from under her. Blood dripped from her wrist, and Mizuki snarled. The panic was starting to set in though. s**t.

Good. The hand was off her starseed. Dagon staggered back, snarling as she went. She just--had to get out of here. There was no winning this fight. And the way her magic obscured her, somewhat--
She started running, and she wasn't proud of it, but she had no desire to continue with a losing fight. She would have to take this new knowledge--the intimate understanding of the Negaverse's power--to heart, and keep herself safer.
