The confrontation with that unicorn corrupt, that Lysithea, had been deeply unpleasant, but at least she'd more or less confirmed that Ganymede was being held somewhere, alive.

Her sister still lived.

That meant that Cybele was out every night, injured arm or no, with others or alone, scouring the city for hours for any place where they might have hidden her. So far there was no luck on that front, but Cybele would keep trying. She had to.

Although, a unique aura did get her to adjust her route slightly to investigate. It was a Dark Mirror senshi. She knew that. She just didn't see them every day, and actually hadn't seen many at all since she'd purified from the Negaverse.

This one was an Eternal, and she wondered briefly if it was Remarque. She wanted to have another conversation with him, and if this was the chance for that, she should take it, distracted as she might be by other events.

Instead, she found a woman in bright colors.

It was a woman who sparked the barest trace of familiarity in Cybele's head. Of course she wouldn't say she recognized her, but she wouldn't have been surprised if they'd met before everything had happened.

"Hello?" she asked, slowly.

She was saying Cybele's name. That meant she did recognize her. Cybele nodded, although her eyes were still a bit blank, because she didn't know who this had been to her.

"A lot has happened," she said, falling into the explanation that had become familiar at this point. "I was corrupted into the Negaverse, against my will. I made a deal with your leader Remarque while I was wearing black, but broke it when I began to understand my situation and purified back. I lost some of my power at that point, which might be what you're seeing."

She ran a hand over the side-back of her skirt, where the wings had once been.

It had been months now, and she was almost used to being weaker, but she still felt their absence sometimes.

"That's the story," she said, and then blinked. "Oh, and I lost my memories in the process of all that. I don't know who you are. I'm sorry."

All right. It was always something of a comfort to know that at least there wasn't anything serious that she was forgetting.

"I don't have issues with the Dark Mirror Court," she said. "I don't think I ever did?" She hadn't during her time in the Negaverse, certainly, but from the way some of the members had spoken to her, it seemed that she'd had something of a relationship with them before. They didn't forcibly corrupt people. They didn't seem to like the idea of taking starseeds out of people's chests.

They still had the odd feeling of Chaos about them, but that was hardly enough to make Cybele want to hunt them when there were much larger issues in the city.

"I was offering to strengthen ties between the Dark Mirror and the Negaverse," she said, "Which, obviously, at this point, is sort of the opposite of what I want. If your people could get along with Order, that would be nice."

Her smile was a bit awkward, given the situation.

"So, I'm up for talking to any of you. Remarque, of course, but I'm glad I got to meet you again, as well."

Cybele nodded, glad to have made this connection, as well, even if other things were on her mind, tonight.

"I can't talk long tonight," she said. "I'm working on something."

She was looking for someone, really.

"But, if you let Remarque know what happened, I'd appreciate it, and if you just remember that I'm not trying to make enemies."

She was already stepping away, the though of her mission fresh in her mind, but she kept the polite smile on her face.

"I'm glad I got to run into you."
