Ever since coming into Oba, Kitya had found herself in need of coin and a place to stay while she tracked down her sister. She had gotten hints that her sister may have been seen in Sulburi, the features of a curly haired Yaeli with glasses still somewhat easier to track down in the foreign country, and so Kitya had decided to linger just in case the leads were valid. For now she had settled into a smaller apartment by the establishment where she worked and the girl was enjoying a quiet afternoon near the oasis that was just outside of her area of the city. Both of her keldari were sleeping in the sun, their bellies stuffed full of crystals as rewards for their hard work, and Kitya was nearly doing the same as she stretched out along a blanket that she had tossed over the sand. The oasis water was gleaming and the Yaeli mage had decided to just enjoy the day since she wasn't' dancing tonight for once. It was nice to take a break after dancing so many evenings in a row, the snake charmer was definitely feeling a bit less charming as exhaustion kept tugging at her as her time in the city continued. "Where are you Xenia?" She mused, her silver gaze looking towards the sun as she lazed about in her silk top and split skirt, most of her exposed skin taking in the sun from where it flickered in through the trees growing around the oasis. Somedays it was almost like she was a keldari with how she enjoyed lazing about with the familiars, all three of them just soaking up the sun and relaxing after a long week of dancing and searching for her sibling.

Pynar sighed as he shuffled his feet. With a map and compass in hand, he tried following his mentor's instructions and had admittedly already back tracked once....or maybe three times. Maybe he wasn't cut out for this adventuring trip. Or maybe he had been a bit too confident when leaving the store. 'Surely getting some flowers wouldn't be THAT hard would it?' Oh but it was turning out to be a trip and a half. He looked up from his map once more and adjusted the new glasses on his face. Pynar had only gotten them recently and hadn't realized that his eyesight had been that bad but he was noticing quite an improvement, at least he thought. Said eyes widened as he saw a few palms in the distance and jogged, if you could consider it jogging when moving through the sand, towards what he hoped was his destination. "Purple three petaled flowers..." He reminded himself. As his mentor had insisted he learn about more than just candy they were currently working on cakes and one of his mentor's favorites involved decorating with fresh flowers, that happened to be edible themselves. Upon entering the oasis, he took a rest under the shade of one of the palms. "Thank goodness for shade." He said aloud with a huff. His eyes fell on the water. 'Surely a quick dip wouldn't hurt...' Setting his pack down by the palm he'd chosen, he quickly stripped down to his undergarments before walking quickly towards the water.

Kitya had been enjoying a short nap when sudden splashing woke her. The Yaeli woman blinked with confusion, the haze of sleep causing her brain to slowly process the situation. She was in the oasis and there was someone swimming nearby? Kitya frowned as she started to become more alert, interest replacing surprise as she slowly rose up from the blanket and left her keldari to continue sun bathing so that they could protect her satchel and belongings. Why should she flee when she had come out here to enjoy her free afternoon? Kitya was not shy or reserved in the slightest, her attire fitting someone wanting to swim especially when she opened the latch holding the skirt so that she was only wearing shorts and her top. It would be a shame to get the silk wet and a skirt would only weigh her down in the water after all. The Yaeli woman crouched by the water before sticking a foot out, her toes wiggling as she tested the temperature and studied the pool. She was fine simply slipping into the waters but the Yaeli wanted to try and see who had made the first splash before actually jumping into the cool depths.
"A fine day for a swim then?" She called out, her silver gaze glancing about to see if anyone would respond. The oasis was decently sized with a few rocks jutting out around the azure waters so it was hard to see where the splashing had originated from but Kitya was hoping whoever was here would reveal themselves soon enough.

The water was so refreshing on his hot skin. He had NOT enjoyed the trek over here, granted it took way longer than it probably should have.... He sighed his relief as he splashed water over his back. It wasn't until he heard a voice call out that he froze. He'd been near a rock so he supposed it had blocked the view of whoever else had been at the oasis. 'Stupid me...' He thought to himself. Looking down at himself and the lack of most of his clothes, his face heated. Add in the fact that the voice sounded female and his blush deepened. Pynar took a deep breath before peeking around the rock. "An...unplanned swim but needed...." He said as he looked around for the source of the voice, when he found it, his eyes widened. He....he knew her...didn't he? "I...uh...Kit..ya?" He second guessed himself, not sure if he remembered her name correctly.

"A swim is never a bad idea." Replied Kitya with a smile. "Even if it wasn't planned." The Yaeli woman felt a bit more comfortable now that the stranger had replied, the tone of his voice making her feel like he was less of a threat and more flustered than anything. Who knew that a man would sound shy? Kitya laughed softly at the thought before the sound of her name had her glance back towards the rock. Who? The Yaeli woman frowned since she did not give out her name much in Oba, the confusion on her face fading as she slowly recognized the hybrid as he came around the rock. "Pynar?" She echoed his confusion before slipping into the water so that she could swim towards him.
"I thought I left you back in Matori. Why are you in Sulburi?" She asked though it was more with happiness and interest, the Yaeli woman honestly glad to see a familiar face in the city. Even if it had been a simple meal the two of them shared together he had been nice enough to take the time to show her about the smaller Matori town which had left a decent impression on Kitya. Compared to all of the brutes and slippery ones she had been dealing with lately it was refreshing to see an actual nice person for once.

"True..." Pynar agreed as he willed his blush to go away. Perhaps she wouldn't see it because of the heat from the sun glaring down on them. Perhaps she would just think he was over heated..ya...thats it. "It is you." A small laugh escaped him as he confirmed it almost more for himself than for the woman who was now swimming towards him. He was by no means the ladies man of the family and suddenly found himself a little too conscious of how much skin he was showing. If only he'd left his shirt on! "Well you did. I've only arrived in Oba here recently. I decided to learn how to make sweets but I wanted to have a wider appreciation for them. So I decided to travel and learn." He shrugged. He wasn't going to say that sometimes lately, like on his journey over here, he was definitely regretting that decision. It was nice to see her again though, hopefully she wouldn't judge him too much.

"It does help if you swim into welcome company." Teased Kitya as she swam close enough to linger by Pynar, her own lack of apparel not even bothering her as she floated in front of him. Either the Matori hybrid burned easily in the sun or he was flushing, something which amused Kitya and caused her lips to curve upwards into a playful smile. She had no hesitation as she gave him an appreciative look, her head tilting slightly as she noticed all of the differences in his general appearance since their meeting a few months back. He really did seem to be doing well which was good.
"Leaving the beauty of the ocean for the mysteries of the Oban desert." Kitya commented as she carefully moved around Pynar, her leg accidently brushing against him in passing as she twisted through the waters to come up on the other side of the hybrid. Her purple hair was tied back in a braid, the damp hair hanging down towards her waist since she had grown in out in recent months but Kitya simply tossed it back over her shoulder as she kept floating in the water now towards the left of Pynar. "So you're learning to become a sweet maker? That seems fitting for your personality." She teased lightly. "I'd love to know what your Oban experience with sweets are so far and if anything I can always show you around since I've gotten better acquainted with the city in the past few weeks."

Pynar found himself lacking words so instead he scratched the back of his neck nervously. He tried to take a deep breath to calm himself so he didn't look even more like an idiot and could at least maybe follow a simple conversation. "I'm not sure I can say I really enjoy it here. It's a little hot. But, I found a mentor here that agreed to train me for a little while so here I am." He sighed and yet blushed at her teasing. "So far he insists I learn other kinds of delicacies before we really move on to candies. We're learning about cake at the moment" His huff made it clear he wasn't super excited to be making cakes. His eyes brightened at her offer, however, as it had been a little lonely here. He hadn't been here for very long and already he missed his home and family. "That would be nice, I haven't explored a whole lot. I don't think I was cut out for this adventuring deal." Pynar laughed at his own expense, the tension leaving him little by little as he got comfortable with Kitya again.

"That's fair." A laugh escaped Kitya's lips. Pynar was obviously nervous but it was nice enough that he wasn't trying to swim away from her. The Yaeli woman could only hope that he would loosen up and relax a bit more while they kept speaking like this. "Yael was a bit cooler unless you lived towards the south. I was raised towards the north east so we got a bit of snow even....the desert is definitely an adjustment." She admitted even though she was finding city life interesting and enjoyed the excitement of the crowds. Her lips pursed into a pout at the huff. What was wrong with cakes? Though it seemed that Pynar definitely was more into making candies which Kitya made a note to remember. "We have some flower cakes back home that I could teach you about though it seems candies are more exciting." She teased lightly before his acceptance made a smile cross her lips.
"Then we can go out to town tonight! I'm not working so I have plenty of time if you do." She added quickly as she glanced towards the shore. "Unless you'd rather linger in the oasis a bit longer? It is rather nice here considering how much we both seem to not like the heat." The ocean in Matori had been nice with the rocky cliffs reminding her of home, the mountain lake near her house almost the same in some sense. It had been nice in Matori but Kitya had a purpose here in Oba, something she had to remind herself of despite the temptation of other countries.

"Wow..." He sort of mumbled. He couldn't imagine going from that kind of environment to this. Though, if he travels like he's supposed to Pynar supposed he would understand eventually. "There's nothing necessarily wrong with cakes. They just....you spend all this time making them and decorating them and then they're gone or spoil quickly. Some candies can spoil quickly too but some, if made right, can last for awhile." At the mention of cakes he groaned. While he wanted to take her up on the offer to go now he knew that he couldn't. "Actually, I'm supposed to collect certain flowers that are supposed to grow here for my mentor. She's baking a cake and wants to decorate it with these three leaved purple flowers. Help me find those and then we can leave?" He offered.

"Mmm. So it just sounds like you should share all of the cake as quickly as possible unless you have a really good craving for it." Quipped back Kitya with a small smile. She saw no issues with that though she supposed it would be frustrating to have to worry about a cake out here in the desert! She could only imagine how quickly the icing and decorations would melt if not properly taken care of. Her silver gaze narrowed thoughtfully at the mention of the certain flowers. Something small and purple? She had not seen anything like those before!
"I can help you look." Kitya nodded before looking towards the shore. "I suppose we'll have to get out of the water then." She let out a small sigh at the realization. Goodbye relaxing swim. Though there was a mischievous glint in her gaze as she glanced back to Pynar. "But I suppose if I'm getting out of the water...." She smirked before suddenly slapping at the surface, playfully sending a small wave towards the hybrid. Might as well have a bit of fun before getting to work!

"Well I suppose that could be a solution." The corners of Pynar's mouth turned down in a slight frown but it didn't last long. Chores were always better when you had company. Nodding, he started following her to the edge of the water and that was when the betrayal occurred. He stood there looking like a perzi dropped in a bucket of water as the water clouded the vision in his glasses. Carefully he tried to wipe then off but it was no use when nothing was dry. He thought through his options as he looked over his glasses. If she was one of his siblings he might have tried to tackle her and water wrestle. But... he didn't feel like he knew her well enough for being that up close and personal. Her smirk told him she enjoyed her little prank, however, he couldn't just let that go. He was a softie sure but not a pushover... most days. After placing the glasses on top of his head, he slowly approached her. Py tried to keep the smile off his face. If he could just get close enough.... he'd give that long braid of hers a few small tugs. Girls hated that right?

Kitya just floated along the edges of the pool. The Yaeli's expression was playful as she watched Pynar approach. What was he going to do now? The hybrid hadn't reacted to her antics even though she has even gotten his glasses wet, something she realized was also new from their last encounter. For now Kitya just stayed mostly in place, only slowly drifting back towards the shore a bit more whenever Pynar got a bit closer. "Should get to those flowers and stop dallying." She teased lightly as she kept an eye on him.

She didn't seem like she was going to back down so he wouldn't either....at least he would try not to. When he was finally close enough, he stood still for a moment. "Yeah...probably." Pynar said before darting his hand out and giving her braid two quick pulls and then darted off to the shoreline with a laugh. That was probably about as far as his payback would go though he wasn't sure if there would be any kind of retaliation.

Kitya blinked in surprise, her mouth opening in a quiet gasp at the sudden attack. Pynar was usually so polite and reserved that she didn't think he had it in him! Kitya grinned as he darted away, more amused by the retaliation than anything else, and began to chase after him. They had to find some purple flower but that didn't mean they couldn't have fun! Still, Kitya was a mischievous trickster and it wasn't long before she 'slipped' along the shore and fell with a soft cry. Though of course she crumpled down dramatically, her legs twisted beneath her as she braced herself to patiently wait until Pynar hopefully came over to check on her. If not then well she would have to get up eventually and try to hide her embarrassment at the silly ploy.
