The only reason there was any sort of lightness in Lysithea’s step was due to the fact that she was going to her picnic with Evan and Malcolm…well. Maybe with just Evan, Malcolm had written an email saying he was sick, and that…sucked but. Just seeing Evan again was always a treat…even if they did work together almost every day.
Besides…seeing him meant that she would get some answers..
Her jaunt over to the picnic area was paused when she felt a senshi, and for a horrible, nearly heart stopping moment she thought it was going to be Cybele, and honestly…she nearly just teleported to the spot then and there but…
But that would freak Evan out so she turned to face whoever it was and paused…and stared.
…and felt her throat half close up as she choked out the only word that she could think to say.
“...C-cleeia?”
…Well. This would explain why he had stopped turning up to their meetings but…
…Oh god.

Cleeia really did think he'd been doing well coping with the messiness and uncertainty of his new life. He had a new name. A boyfriend. A place to stay. He was figuring out getting records to get himself enrolled in university. (Not that he knew what he wanted to do--maybe art. Art was good.)
He knew he couldn't keep coasting, knew he couldn't just cross his fingers and hope that if he ignored his past in the Negaverse long enough, he could avoid it. And yet he gad tried very valiantly to do just that--to ignore it until it went away.
It was not going away. And now it was in front of him.
"Uh. Hi, Lysithea," he said, and hge automatically took a step back to put a little extra distance between them. Oh, she was going to be pissed. She was going to be so pissed.
"I decided I didn't want my boyfriend to die or be erased by the Negaverse, so uh. Here I am, I guess."
Shovel, digging, etc.

This…felt like too much. Anger and fear, rage and sorrow…far too many conflicting emotions poured through Lysithea and she clenched her fists, beginning to tremble slightly. “You…but why didn’t you talk to me? I don’t…We…” For a moment, Lysithea saw red, and cried out before thinking. “Lysithea Untamed Purity!” The attack name broke on the last word and as the flash of white stormed towards her first subordinate, her failed subordinate, she felt the dam shatter and began to sob loudly, moving to cover the distance between them, fist pulled back and launched it at him.
“Why didn’t you talk to me? How could you just…I’ve been so worried about you! I hate you! I hate you!”
The tears were falling faster and she couldn’t breathe, couldn’t think. Didn’t know what to do.
The world spun for a moment and she stumbled backwards, sinking to the ground and trying to get air into her lungs, but it just didn’t seem to want to. This was too much. It was all just too much. She couldn’t…do this.
She was an absolute and complete failure in everything.Noir Songbird When Lysithea calls out her attack a flash of white light rushes at her opponent, and if the attack hits them, it feels as though something heavy is hitting them, much like if a Unicorn were to slam into them. The force of this may be enough to knock over weaker opponents. After the initial impact the opponent will feel four distinct feelings of pain, as though the unicorn was trying to trample them. The feeling lasts for forty five seconds, and this attack can be used once per battle

Cleeia really should have been prepared for the attack, should have seen it coming and dodged, but--Lysithea was so upset--he was rooted to the spot, until her power and then her fist slammed into him, and he went toppling to the ground, pain shooting through his back and a feeling like hooves slamming into his body keeping him down.
"I did talk to you," Cleeia snapped, gasping for breath. "You're the one that told me I only had two choices!" She had. She'd made it more than clear. And neither choice was acceptable to him, so she'd found one that was.
"Secret Inspiration!" He gasped, drawing the glyph in the air as quickly as he could. Maybe his magic would inspire her to get away from him, to leave him alone, to--to not kill him, because that was what happened to traitors, a head severed from the shoulders it was attached to and falling on the battlefield--Orangeish Sherbert Cleeia speaks the name of his attack, drawing the form of a strange glyph in the air, which appears glowing yellow as he draws it. The glyph glows, and then bursts into yellow mist, expanding out to six feet around Cleeia. Anyone within the mist finds themself seized with mad inspiration--they feel as if they suddenly understand how to get past any roadblocks they've been experiencing how to sort their s**t out in general, et cetera. This fervent inspiration lasts for 30 seconds, and then ends dramatically, leaving the target suddenly devoid of the understanding they had. It can leave behind a lingering sensation that if only they could remember, they would be able to fix all their problems, or other haunting effects at player discretion. Cleeia can use this magic twice per battle.

The words hurt so badly. Why hadn’t she noticed? Why hadn’t she asked him? Her sobs increased as she continued to think about it, continued to think about everything that had happened…Faustite didn’t need her. Cleeia had left because she had given bad advice she…–
The thoughts seemed to clear up with the onset of her former senshi’s magic and the tears stopped.
She had to punish him. He was a traitor. That was how to fix this. That was how to fix all of this.
If she brought him in with the starseed. Faustite could bring him home again. He knew how to do that better than anyone else after all.
Slowly, she pushed herself to her feet and looked at the senshi, her face wet with tears, and her eyes over bright. “That’s right. There is a way to fix this. Don’t worry Cleeia. Don’t worry.”
Her hand shot out and slid into his chest, fingers curling around his starseed. “I’m just going to take it for a little while, and then you’ll be home again. Where you belong. We’ll find your boyfriend too, I promise and he…and…”
She swallowed and felt confusion descend upon her as the magic faded and as she looked at the hand protruding from Cleeia’s chest, she whimpered in horror.
What…what was she doing?
All of this was a mistake. She was a mistake.
Carefully, she pulled the hand back out and looked at the senshi with a hopeless, heartbroken expression. “...I…I’m sorry...”

Cleeia really needed to stop using his magic in the hopes that it would get him out of situations, because it really just seemed to get him into worse situations.
Lysithea's hand was in his chest. Cleeia's fear peaked. She was going to kill him--
No, worse--
"Please, don't," he begged, voice cracking. "I can't go back. I couldn't stay even before--but now I really can't--please, Lysithea, I don't want this."
He reached out to grab her arm, hoped he could maybve stall her--but the magic didn't last long.
An eternity, when he hand was in his chest, but not all that long in reality.
And her hand came out, and he crumpled to the ground, putting his own over where hers had been.
"It doesn't have to be like this for you, either," he said, voice soft. "There's someone looking for you. I don't know his name--but before I met you, I met him, he's a Saturn Knight with blond hair and a clock hand weapon." He'd owed Michel some answers, but with everything going on with Gelria, he'd neglected them--a mistake, probably, but surely "look, I had to organize purifying so I didn't have to kill my boyfriend" was a reasonable excuse. Probably. "I think he knew you before. I think he'd want you to come home, Lysi."

“You didn’t tell me that you’d be leaving me…” She said brokenly. Her hands kept frantically wiping at her face, but no matter how hard she tried she couldn’t get rid of the tears. What did it matter that someone was looking for her? They had stolen her…
“I am home…I was saved from the white moon who stole me. That was what my brother told me, and I…” She faltered. “I believe him…”
Didn’t she? She should believe him…it was her job to believe him, wasn’t it?
“Why didn’t you tell me of this Saturn Knight before if he was looking for me? Why didn’t you warn me? You’re just…you’re keeping secrets, Cleeia. How could you do this? I thought…we could have done this…I thought we…” She swallowed. “You’ve made me into such a failure, Cleeia…”

"Of course I kept secrets," Cleeia said, and hos voice was very quiet, and very sad. He looked up at Lysithea with a sort of exhausted misery--and more than anything, he felt terrible for her. She seemed so lost, so unhappy.
How miserable it had to be.
"Lysithea, you told me to my face that my only choices were to haul my boyfriend in for corruption--have him mindwiped and remade--or to kill him. Of course I couldn't tell you I wanted to leave--what would you have done? Would you have let me go? Or would you have turned me in, so I couldn't run away?"
Cleeia knew what he expected. Lysithea was loyal. To her brother, if nothing else. She wouldn't crack just because he pleaded with her. But plead he wanted to, anyway--wanted her to see why the Negaverse hurt so much.

She swallowed and shook her head. “I…I said to ask him! I said to persuade him to come to the right choice…and if that didn’t work to…I mean…” Lysithea broke off and shook her head a bit more frantically. “I didn’t mean that that was your only choice…I’m not…it…I was excited to meet him…”
To meet the person that made Cleeia happy…to get another senshi to be friends with. Someone she could connect with…
“I’m…sorry that I didn’t say what I was trying to…that I made you feel like you had to keep secrets from me…I…I don’t know what I would have done! But I wish you had just…I wish it hadn’t come to…to this...”
The tears started again, accompanied by sobs this time as all of the emotions just bubbled up and leaked out. She couldn't think. Didn’t want to think just. Just wanted to be gone from him.
And with very little effort, she was. Teleporting was such a convenient thing, after all.
