A few days after this role-play.What was this feeling? He felt repulsed by his very being. It was as if the heart in his chest was not his own. Like something deep inside was trying to escape. He still could not turn human. He couldn’t even bring himself to think of that form now. His paws were weary. Then he felt the aura of a fellow Mauvian and another aura he could not place. He tried to hone in on it, but his mind wouldn’t let him. He collapsed with a terrible migraine into a sad heap of fur. ☆

Soyala considered her partnership with Elsa to be quite a beneficial one. While her primary loyalty was and always would be to the Negaverse, cultivating relationships with the Dark Mirror was valuable, and so she was always glad to have that opportunity. So she patrolled with him often, usually int he hopes of finding new Senshi.
This time, they did not find a new Senshi.
It wasn't until they were almost on top of the poor Mauvian that she realized what she was sensing--the aura of a fellow Chaos Cat--and she bumped her head against Elsa's cheek to get him to stop.
"I think there's another cat in trouble," she told him, and she hopped off his shoulder to examine the poor, barely conscious thing.
Familiarity struck her immediately--she'd fought this one, tangled with him in a roil of teeth and claws--but now, it seemed, he was on the right side, and she very gently pawed at him.
"Are you alright?" Her voice was gentle, much softer than it had been when she'd met him as an enemy.Elsa took a few steps forward, and knelt down next to the poor, barely-conscious cat. Whatever had happened to him, he looked awful--and it made the Senshi frown.
"Are you injured?" He asked, and he hoped the poor thing could hear him.

Tama recognized the cat. It was the one that had scratched up his face not all that long ago. Part of him let out a hiss, but it was tiny. Sad. Pathetic even. But he was in no position to turn down help right now. “I —” He struggled with his words, another wave of pain flowing through his now black forehead star. “Ever since I became this…” He gestured for emphasis, hoping his meaning would come across. “I’ve felt a sickness that comes over me from time to time and I can’t seem to do anything to stop it.”☆

Soyala sighed, and curled up next to the other cat, purring low and comforting.
"A rough transition, yes, but don't worry. It will get better," she said. Her own memories of the days surrounding her induction into the Negaverse, all those years ago, were hazy and fuzzy; still, she knew for certain that she was now blessed with a far better duty than she'd had as an Order Mauvian. Surely it would get better for him, too.Elsa frowned, and sat down fully. "Is there somewhere you need to go?" He asked. He wasn't sure if he could carry them into Mirrorspace--perhaps if he brought this poor cat to his little island int he Mirrorscape, it would give him somewhere safe and comfortable to rest, but it wasn't as if he had done much with it. (An unfortunate choice. It deserved more of his time and attention.)
"Or can you just...rest, for a little while? We can look out for you while you do."

“A transition?” The cat said, questioning. “Is this what happens to all guardian cats when they —?”Tama searched for the right words for what had happened to him. His starseed had taken in Chaos. And then… changed. He wasn’t entirely sure it wasn’t broken somehow. “I do not know if there is a place I can go to recover from this sickness.” He turned to Elsa. Tama still was not sure what he was. “Do you know of such a place?”☆

"I don't recall it being this severe," Soyala admitted, "but I had not been...aware, for very long, when it happened." When she was scooped up and remade, and given her new mission. It was hard for her to say what might happen to him, since clearly he had been on the other side for much longer, and perhaps that made it more difficult for him.
Still, she kept purring, hoping it would provide some soothing.Elsa pondered, thoughtfully. "I don't know if it'll help you recover, but Mirrorspace is safe, and private, and I could take you there," he said. "It'll at least give you somewhere to stay. ********, I can't believe the Negaverse is just letting you wander around, like this."
It struck him as terribly irresponsible. Poor thing was clearly out of it, and it was luck that he'd run into people that could help.
"I'm Elsa, of the Dark Mirror. Do you have a name?" Could he remember? The Negaverse, Elsa had heard, took memories if you switched sides to them...so perhaps those memories were gone?

Tama leaned into Soyala, her purring some comfort. He was so close to her now, but he did not feel repelled by her aura like he once would have been. It felt… “My name is Tama.” He said to both senshi and cat. “I have been awake for many years.”For a moment, a memory flashed. A boy. His aura was of the White Moon. And he had been there when he first awoke. But then the memory was gone, fleeting. “Of the Dark Mirror?” Tama questioned. Was that why he was initially unable to place the senshi within his conception of White Moon and Dark Kingdom (one that was beginning to shift each day he was here, he must admit). “Mirrorspace. I’d love to go there.”It was that same curiosity that homeworlds used to bring him, before. ☆

"We'll look after you, Tama," Soyala said, and she gently nuzzled the top of his head. He was warm, and comfortable to lean against, and she was quite content there with him. Still, she nodded briefly to Elsa--he could take them both, and they might see a bit of something interesting. Better to get the poor thing off the streets, anyway.
It really did pain her heart to see a fellow cat in this much pain--even if he'd been on the other side, she imagined she might have found this display miserable. It was almost upsetting, seeing what had been done to him--but there was so little she could do to help.With care, Elsa scooped up both cats--they were sort of an armful, but it was worth it. Soyala wriggled out of his arms to settle around his shoulder quickly enough, but he kept Tama cradled close to his chest.
"Let's go, I can show you around," Elsa said. "Mirrorspace is sort of...our headquarters?" He wasn't sure how safe it was to bring two Negaverse cats there, but it wasn't as if they'd be able to get in on their own. Even if they could, Mirrorspace was an ever-shifting morass.
"If I put you down in there, stay close to me. Mirrorspace doesn't take kindly to people outside the Court who get over-curious." He moved further down the alley, carefully so as not to dislodge his cat-boa, until he spotted a mirror leaned against a wall-dirtied, but workable. "The Court leaves these all over the city," he explained. "We can walk through mirrors to get form place to place, so we try to leave plenty around."
He stepped in, and stopped in the middle, so they landed in the common area of Mirrorspace. With a thought, he conjured a couch for himself, and sat down on it.
"Any better, here?"

Tama let Soyala nuzzle him as he listened to Elsa. He let out a tiny ‘mrrp’ when he picked up both cats. Could he hold them both? Soyala moved to the senshi’s neck and Tama stayed tight in his arms. If traveling to Mirrorspace was anything like trying to a homeworld there would be a bit of a jolt as they traveled. Tama certainly didn’t need another source for a headache. Tama found traveling through the mirror to be relatively smooth, surprisingly. He wasn’t one to complain about that. But what was the place they were in? “It’s rather convenient, I suppose. The whole stepping through mirrors thing.” He said, though he doubted he truly understood it or how it worked. “This is Mirrorspace?”☆

Once they were in Mirrorspace, Soyala slid off Elsa's neck and down, plopping herself on the couch he'd created and stretching out. Mirrorspace was always a little strange and alien to her, but it was still a Chaos place, and she still liked it. Besides, Elsa was an Eternal, and she trusted him to keep her safe.
"It's quite convenient, and if you help the Dark Mirror with Awakening their Senshi, you'll spend quite a lot of time here," she said, idly. It didn't seem, to her, an expression of disloyalty--the Mirror needed them, and the Mirror were Senshi, and so they ought to help Senshi. It was as simple and straightforward as that.Elsa hummed, and he pulled off his gloves, moving so he could settle Tama in his lap and very carefully pet the cat. He was a big fan of Guardian Cats, truth be told; they were incredibly helpful, and he'd yet to meet one on their side that he disliked. So he was eager to help this one, who seemed terribly disoriented, and maybe give him a good impression of the Mirror.
Maybe, if they were lucky, he might even help them out, like Soya did. She certainly couldn't handle every Dark Mirror on her own, even if she wanted to.
"Like Soya said," he acknowledged, "this is Mirrorspace. It's....a place betwene places, I guess, and it changes all the time, but there's a couple landmarks. This hall, the Throne Room," he nodded to a pair of great doors, "which is where that Awakening-new-Senshi business happens; it takes a cat to give a pen and a Dark Mirror Eternal to bring the new Senshi here so they can walk through the Black Mirror in there. I've done it a couple times, it's always a hell of an experience."

Tama tentatively kneaded the couch with his paws, half expecting it to disappear under his weight. “Awakening senshi?” His ears perked up. This was the first he had heard of a Mauvian’s duty here. He looked from senshi to cat and back again. “Please. Tell me how. How does it differ from awakening a White Moon senshi, a Negaverse senshi and a Dark Mirror senshi?He looked around comparing Mirrorspace and the Dark Kingdom and White Moon senshi worlds all at once in his head. If their homes were so different, it made sense that their awakening to power would be as well. ☆

"I have never Awoken a White Moon Senshi," Soyala confessed, "or if I did, I don't remember." A tragic loss. Those Senshi ought to be hers, as much as any other. But alas, she had traded any memories she might have had for something far, far better.
"Both the Negaverse nad the Dark Mirror require outside assistance. The Negaverse requires a General-Sovereign--Axinite, Lepidolite, or Hessonite--or Queen Laurelite. Only they have the proper control of Chaos to Awkaen a Senshi starseed. Your duty is to gave the new recruit a pen and their name. Similarly, the Dark Mirror requires an Eternal or a Royal, and a visit here to the Blakc Mirror, where it is your job to provide pen and name. And, in both cases, any guidance the Senshi may require. TRhey are our charges. It is our duty."
A smile crossed her face. "And, if you are very lucky, you may be given permission by a General-Sovereign to upgrade one of your Negaverse Senshi. Always a proud moment, I think, to provide that extra boost in energy to the pen and unlock their next form." A happy purr passed her lips. "Our Mirror friends just require us to tweak the pen a little though."This was all cat-talk, beyond Elsa; all he knew was what he'd seen.
"I do know," he said, "that if Soya's not with me, I can bring people here anyway--as long as they're willing. We can't haul people in against their will, like the Negaverse. Or, I guess--maybe our Royals can, but I've never heard of it happening." Remarque simply did not strike him as the type, not that he knew the man excessively well. The other royals, he was pretty sure he'd never even met, so he couldn't begin to guess.

So much different than he recalled on the awakening of senshi before. It seemed here it needed something extra to awaken the spark in the senshi and bring them into the fold. It must be similar to how he had changed as well. Faustite had not been alone with him when it happened. Tama thought that this way showed much more care than the way he had known. There was something surprisingly gentle about it, caring even. “It is different, but perhaps better this way. The White Moon awaken them so carelessly.”He was a bit surprised at his own words. Soyala and mirror senshi had already showed him much. ☆

"Exactly," Soyala agreed. "I'm glad you understand." She felt a sort of smug pride; it was good to see that now that he was theirs, Tama understood that the way they did things was far superior. It was much better to bring Senshi in with guidance guaranteed than to leave it to the whims of fate.
"Are you feeling better?" She asked, an edge of concern in her voice. He had been so ill...she hoped that wasn't permanent.Elsa exhaled. "I can't imagine what I'd do if I was just thrown into all this," he said. "My sister helped bring me in, so that was awesome--lots of support for figuring stuff out." He gave Tama a gentle skritch behind the ears.
"If you're better, we can pop back to the city and I can let both of you go. I'm sure you've got important cat things to do."

“Quite a bit better.” He nodded to Elsa who mentioned important cat things. “Thank you both for taking me here. I do have some ‘cat things’ to do.”Number one on that ‘cat things’ agenda: a nice relaxing bath and a good nap. ☆
