Menelie After Rho and Tirzah helped Mena get ready and sent him off to Iordanes, Tirzah turned to Rho. "So....what now?" She asked. She hadn't the slightest idea of how to summon this "Millie". Everything she'd heard about it, she'd heard from Rho. "Any ideas?" Daisicle Rho stretched his shoulders, truly satisfied for the first time in weeks from a good night's rest and as much food as he could ask for for breakfast. He'd sent Mena off with a hug and a smile to 'get ready' as it were, and in the meantime it was their job to procure the final necessary ingredient.
At Tirzah's question, he looked over with a shrug. "From what I heard, she just magically knows when you're going to conceive and delivers you a potion or something. Nobody I talked to has actually seen her cause apparently she lives even further in daemon territory than this." Menelie "Huh," said Tirzah, putting her hands on her hips. "Well that's not ideal." She didn't like leaving any of this up to chance. They'd so meticulously planned this! "So do we just...wait then?" She shifted her weight from one hoof to the other anxiously. Daisicle Rho shrugged again. "I mean... Yeah? I guess...? We'd need a lot longer than a day to try and get to her hut hella far into the jungle... " Menelie Tirzah looked distinctly displeased. "Don't love that..." she said, shaking her hands and fingers out. This was probably as antsy as Rho had ever seen the normally-laid back Tirzah. "Wish there was like, I dunno, light a candle or something," she said. She felt herself beginning to sweat. Daisicle Rho walked over and wrapped his arms around Tirzah to try and mellow her out. "Hey babe, don't worry. She's supposed to always know, so it'll work out. Bet you any minute now there's gonna be a knock on our door and it'll all be good."

Menelie Tirzah sort of curled up against him, tucking her arms between their bodies. She rested her head on Rho's shoulder and took a deep breath and let it out with a sigh. It was hard not to worry. She wanted everything to be perfect. Especially since Mena was going to all this trouble. She'd spent a lot of time daydreaming about this, fantasizing and planning and hoping.
As if on cue, moments later there was a knock at the door. Tirzah lifted her head and looked at Rho hopefully. "D'you think...?" Daisicle Rho's ear flicked at the door, and his expression flashed from confusion back to neutral. If he was being honest, he'd somewhat made up that premise on the fly to help ground Tirzah, but by Earthmother if it actually worked out that way he would absolutely take full credit.
He looked down at her with a smirk. "Now that'd be somethin' straight out of a book, huh? Want to check it out?" Menelie Tirzah nodded eagerly and started toward the door. As she pulled away from Rho she took hold of his hand, lacing her fingers through his and squeezing gently.
She opened the door and took a step back when there was no one there. "Huh?" she asked, then she noticed a bottle on the mat--it looked almost like a wine bottle--with a roll of parchment attached. She glanced at Rho before picking it up. Daisicle Rho let himself be pulled by Tirzah as she rushed to the door and promptly raised an eyebrow at the lovely bottle of wine set just in front of it. As she picked it up, he reached forward to unroll the parchment so they could read it. It was strange - what seemed as random scribbles quickly became the earth glyphs he was familiar with before his very eyes.
Must have been some fairy magic - that or he was seeing things
"So what's it say..." He skimmed over the text before nodding and looking over at Tirzah warmly. "Look at this - it seems this Millie has a way with theatrics herself." Rho turned the parchment so it was easier for her to read what effectively was an enthusiastic congratulations to the three of them for what was to so very soon come. Menelie Tirzah eyed the text, recognizing...most of the words. She wasn't super confident with reading yet, but she knew enough to see their names and the word for baby, which was really the important bits anyway. She giggled with delight, tears wetting her eyes, and hugged Rho tightly. "Ohhh I'm so happy!" she exclaimed. She was practically vibrating with excitement now, bouncing on her hooves. Any nervousness or anxiety she'd been feeling had been completely banished.
"I need a cup of tea or something to calm down or I'm not gonna be able to wait until Mena gets back," she bubbled. Daisicle Rho hugged her back with a solid amount of force before he took hold of the 'wine' and walked over to the little kitchenette their room provided to set it aside. He pondered calling for a cherub to bring ice - a rare luxury for them - to cool it down, but decided to wait until Mena got back to do so.
"Y'know, we could always practice while we wait..." He meant this mostly in a flirtatious manner, cause he had a feeling his work was going to be cut out for him tonight. "This place had, what did they call it again... 'room service,' right? Want me to call a cherub to put an order in for some stuff?" Menelie Tirzah smacked Rho's arm gently at the suggestion to "practice". "Stop it," she said, giggling. "You've got to save your energy, sir. We're gonna wear you out tonight." She winked and laughed.
"Yes, I think that'd be good," she agreed. "I just need to calm down, sit on this sofa, have a warm drink, and hope everything goes well with Mena." She sat down on the plush couch in the living area.
---
A few moments later, after they'd figure out how to call for a fairy and some tea, Tirzah had settled into the sofa with her mug, breathing the steam deeply and feeling herself calm down. "Ahhh," she said pleasantly. Daisicle For what it was worth, Rho had ordered one of those fruity cocktails that seemed to only be available wherever Venus was involved. He wasn't trying to get drunk or anything, but it was a taste he couldn't get at home. He'd also ordered a plate of appetizers, which seemed to be an assortment of little finger foods not unlike what was normally offered during the two Venus' celebrations he'd attended - perhaps they were finalizing he menu for the upcoming event?
He picked what seemed to be a vegetable filled with some sort of cheese and wrapped by bacon before being cooked and sampled it... which led to a strained expression as the fiery kick caught him off-guard. "Whew..." He took a sip of his drink. "We'll need to make sure we order some more right once Mena gets back - might forget to otherwise." Menelie Tirzah chuckled in agreement. "Wonder when he's getting back..." She wondered aloud. "And I wonder what he'll look like...." She blushed gently. Daisicle Rho smirked at Tirzah. "Lemme tell you, if he looks the same as last time..." and made a chef's kiss before taking another sip of drink.

Menelie Mena's hand shook as he reached for the knob to their room. He'd wondered on the way back if they'd been successful in summoning the fairy and getting the potion. He wondered what their reaction to this form would be. He took a deep breath and entered. Daisicle He was mid-sentence in some mundane small-talk with Tirzah when his ear flicked towards the door at the sound of it opening. "Oh, sounds like he's back." He turned to look over. "Hey, did it all go well--?" His voice paused as he looked the new fem from head to tail and then whistled. "Yoooooooo, I think they made you curvier this time - that deity has my regards." he lifted up his drink (a virgin frozen daiquiri this time) and drank to that. Menelie Tirzah was momentarily speechless as she remembered that she was, in fact, also attracted to women. She stood up and crossed to Mena. "You look...amazing," she said with a little blush. "How do you feel?" Mena flushed pink from all the compliments. "I feel...weirdly normal, if that makes sense," he said. He took off his satchel and set it by the door. "What about you two? Were you as successful as me?" he joked. He made...lingering eye contact with Rho. He fully intended to make good use of this form while he had it, which would of course include teasing Rho mercilessly. Daisicle Rho smirked as he stood up and walked over to where they'd set the potion down to pick it up and present it with a flourish. "Of course - did you really think for even a second we were gonna let you down after all this." He was frankly ready to go make sure everything with Mena's new form was in working order, but he practiced his self-restraint. They had plenty of time, and it wasn't like they couldn't enjoy this for quite a while in the coming seasons.
"You hungry cutie? I was thinking we could put in an order for dinner and crack this thing open." Menelie "I'm starving," agreed Mena, who was also...eager to get started. But he had missed the noon meal and was truly quite hungry. Tirzah tucked her arm into Mena's and steered him toward the sofa. "You must be exhausted," she said. She couldn't imagine the effort it must've taken to transform like this. "Darling, would you take care of dinner?" She asked Rho. Was she trying to make him an eensy bit jealous? Possibly. It'd just be more fun for later. She sat with Mena on the couch, cuddled up close. "You really do look great," she murmured in a low voice. "What do you say we give him a little show later?~" Daisicle The envy Rho was feeling as these two cute females started cuddling without him was plain from the way he slightly furrowed his brows and pouted, so he quickly left to go put in an order with a cherub. He went with something simple-ish, but still extravagant given the location. For the meat-eaters, a cream-based seafood pasta filled with all sorts of delish creatures of the water - a sort of rarity back at the Tree - a little pancetta, and some accompanying vegetables like garlic and leek. For Tirzah, a different pasta dish filled with pesto, walnuts, and broccoli topped with smoked goat's mozzarella. He finished it with three different slices of this dessert called 'cheesecake.' A dark chocolate and raspberry one for Mena, a strawberry shortcake varietal for Tirzah, and a mixed berry for himself.
As he re-entered, he stated, "Food's ordered - hope you wanted pasta," and then walked over to join the cuddle puddle.

Menelie Mena giggled as Rho left all pouty. "You're terrible," he said conspiratorially. "It's fun to watch him squirm, isn't it?" Said Tirzah. "Besides," she continued, snuggling into Mena and the couch, "He's got a lot to do tonight. Gotta give him a lot to look forward to, right?"
They both giggled as he reentered, and scooched over on the couch to make room for Rho to sit between them. "Pasta sounds lovely," said Tirzah, snuggling up to him. "We appreciate you." Mena shifted so he was sitting up one one hip, leaning in toward Rho. He took Rho's hand casually and put it around him so that Rho's hand rested on his...hip. "Always love to eat a meal I didn't have to cook," he joked. Daisicle Rho, on cue, settled down between the pair and quickly mellowed out as the cuddling ensued. Yes. This was truly the life. "Man, we should have decided to have kids a while ago," he mused aloud as he thanked his good fortune. He squeezed both his lovers as he tacked on. "So, to be hella sure we don't get too caught up once we get started, I figure we should probably do this the ultra-vanilla way for the first time after drinking the potion." Menelie Tirzah laughed. "I'd love to vacation here if the Tree sentries would let us go just for fun," she agreed. Then, sticking her tongue out, "Aww, you're no fun," she said, pouting. He was probably right. "What, you're gonna make us fight over who gets you first?" Added Mena, feigning being offended. Daisicle Rho raised a brow. "You both would be hella upset if it worked for one and not the other, right? I'd rather get the more business s**t outta the way first and then get right on to the real fun."
He nodded stoically at Mena's suggestion. "Man, that'd be pretty hot actually. Please, go ahead. Don't let me stop you." Menelie "We're only teasing," said Tirzah, tickling Rho's side gently. She settled down, cuddled against him and enjoying the warmth and closeness. "We'll be good. Mostly. Right Mena?" "Mostly," agreed Mena, also snuggling into Rho. He rested his head on Rho's shoulder and draped one arm across his midsection. "Could always talk about names while we wait," he suggested. Daisicle Rho didnt even have time to pout before a knock on the door told them their food had already arrived - man these guys were good. He freed himself from the couch to go open the door and let a trio of tikicats carrying entrees and desert in so they could set them on the table and scurry on out. It all smelled so good - hopefully Mena could steal at least the vegetarian option's recipe to bring back.
Looking back at the girls, he motioned for them to come over. "Dinner's served."
----
Now full of spaghetti and his cake set aside as an energy recovery, Rho set three glasses down on the table before bringing over the bottle and uncorking it. He then carefully poured half a glass's full into each of them and set the bottle in the middle of the table before picking up his own glass.
"You two ready?"

Menelie Mena and Tirzah each picked up a glass. "Ready," said Tirzah. "Obviously," joked Mena. They all raised their glasses to their lips.
It was like the most luxurious wine Tirzah'd ever tasted. It was strong, yet sweet, yet mellow. It didn't burn when she swallowed it, and filled her with warmth. "Wow," she breathed. Mena, with his chef's sensibilities, was pleased with how balanced the wine tasted. And it was pleasant to drink; not thin like water, neither syrupy. Perfection. He felt warm and cared for...
When they'd finished their glasses, Mena, feeling euphoric and eager to begin, took Rho's hand and started tugging him back toward the bedroom. Daisicle He drank his in unison with the other two and marveled at the complex flavor present. He couldn't quite place it - it was like earthy and spicy... but with this encompassing sweetness that kept the other elements from overpowering the other and brought harmony to the whole thing. It clearly stood out as unique from anything he'd tried to date.
As he mused the flavor, he was likewise acutely aware of the heat quickly spreading from his stomach to his extremities and the roughness of Mena's callused fingers as he was pulled away Menelie Tirzah, while she was alone, ate about half of her slice of cake, saving the rest for ~later~, then took her hair out of its braid and slipped the cord tie around her wrist, cinching it so it wouldn't fall off. Daisicle Some time later Rho emerged, cheeks flushed and slightly out of breath, and ate some cake while Mena collected himself. He poured himself another glass of the potion to be extra sure he was still good and barely had time to finish it before Tirzah was pulling him by the wrist back in. Menelie Well, that had been...different. ******** wonderful, but different. He wrapped himself in a sheet and sat at the table to try thr dessert Rho had gotten for him. He wasn't much for sweets, but this was rich and sweet and bitter. He ate about half of it and saved the rest for later. He had half a mind to feed bites to Rho and Tirzah....later. After they'd gotten their energy back. Daisicle This time when Rho emerged, he fetched a glass of water, filled it up, drank it, refilled it, and then walked back to the bedroom to hand it off to Tirzah before she presumably dozed off. He then returned to the table and leaned into the back of the chair, already of a mind to start dozing off himself, but noting that the potion was not yet fully drunk.
He had a feeling he knew what was gonna happen next.

Menelie Mena smiled softly at Rho. "Hey you," he said. He stood and circled around to him, pulling a chair out for him. "Have a seat, love," he said, then rubbed his shoulders and neck once Rho was seated. He eyed the bottle on the table. He was ready for round 2, but poor Rho had already had a marathon of an evening. "How can I take care of you?" He asked, dropping soft kisses on his shoulders. Daisicle Rho tilted his head to the side to give Mena access to his shoulders. "Thanks man... woman...?" he noticed his gaze and internally sighed before putting on his game face. "How about we finish off this bottle and take our time this go around - maybe keep Tirzah up and really get to know the new you?" Menelie "Mm, that sounds fun," said Mena, continuing his little backrub. "But I can see into the bedroom from here annnnnd...yeah, she's already out." He chuckled. "So it looks like it's just you and me. And I don't mind relaxing for a little while. It's not late yet, I have plenty of energy, and I'd rather it be still fun for you." He paused and took Rho's water glass and went and refilled it for him. He also took a cloth from the kitchen and wet it with cool water, then wrung it out and brought it back, draping it over the back of Rho's neck and setting the water glass on the table. "Old kitchen trick. I'm sure you use it in the fields too." Daisicle Rho made a content noise as he felt the cool dampness from the towel against his neck. "Careful there - you might just put me to sleep if you let me get comfortable like that." He ran his hand through his hair before glancing over at Mena again. "Man, you really do make a hella fine woman." He drank the water and set it down before rolling his shoulders again. Menelie "If you need a nap, you need a nap," said Mena simply. "I wouldn't mind waiting until the wee hours for another round." He chuckled. "But if you don't want to chance it, I'm sure I can find a way to...reinvigorate you." He tipped Rho's head back and gave him a kiss from above. "And I'm still me, just with a nifty new set of accessories." He gave a cheeky grin. Daisicle "You know how I get when I pass out - I'm surprised you're not being pushier if I'm being honest." Rho closed his eyes as his head tilted back for the kiss, and opened them once more to look up at Mena as he pulled back. "I can't believe I worried how you'd handle all this..." he half-grumbled under his breath before reaching up to lightly smack Mena's grin with the back of his hand, then sat up normally and reached for the ******** it." He took a hearty swig straight from the bottle, once again impressed by the flavor, before turning to pass it to Mena with his own smirk. "You're being awfully cheeky for someone I just about had screaming earlier - how 'bout we see if I can't get you to wake Tirzah up with it." Menelie Mena took the bottle with a smirk and downed the rest of it, suddenly thankful he'd had lots of practice in all those drinking contests. Seconds after he set it down on the table, ready to make some other kind of smart remark, Rho hit him with that and he just about choked on air. He flushed bright red. "I dunno what that was about," he mumbled. And he almost felt ashamed but then that warmth spread from his belly outward and his whole facial expression changed. "Want to bet?" He challenged Rho. Daisicle Rho's smirk only deepened as Mena blushed and he stood up, the towel falling to the floor as he did so, and he pinched Mena's chin to bring him close to, but not quite, touching. "It's not really a bet if you're gonna win no matter what, but sure. Bet. Babe, I'll make it so you won't even be able to talk tomorrow with how loud I've got you calling my name."
It seemed the night was still young.

Menelie The next...afternoon...Tirzah woke before the other two. She yawned and clopped softly out to the kitchenette. She got herself a glass of water and drank it gratefully. She filled two more and brought them back to the bedroom and sat them on the nightstand before climbing back into bed. She cuddled back up to Rho but didn't fall asleep, just enjoyed the warmth and closeness. Mena...eventually woke up. He rubbed his face and sat up. He wondered what time it was. He peeked out the window and noticed how high the sun was on the sky. "Must be after midday," he said, then grimaced. His voice came out hoarse and quiet. Tirzah smiled and handed Mena a glass of water. Her heart felt breezy and light, especially seeing that Mena had retained form from last night. She'd let him figure that out, though. Daisicle Rho had been downright exhausted and fully satisfied by the time he'd finally drifted off to sleep in the wee morning hours. His slumber was just what'd he'd needed.
As the last of the three to stir awake the next afternoon, he rolled over face-first into Tirzah's thighs as he began to be roused awake. What a glorious sensation to come to your senses with. As he slowly opened his eyes, he glanced up with a soft smile and a, "Hey babe~ How d'you feel?" As he was still groggy and waking up, he didn't immediately think to rotate the other way and say hi to Mena Menelie Tirzah giggled and ruffled Rho's hair. "Hey there, sleepyhead." As for his next question, she put a hand on her belly. "It's early to tell, obviously, but I have a good feeling." She looked over at Mena. Mena suddenly looked down at himself and then practically leapt up. "It worked!" He croaked out. He took another drink from the water glass with a grimace. Rho was gonna be insufferable now. Then, as realization fully dawned on him, he sat back down on the bed and got a somewhat vacant expression. "Oh my God it worked." Daisicle Rho nodded, smile still on his face, and the rotated to look over at Mena who was, in fact, quite clearly still a female. He stared for a bit, processing, and came to the same conclusion as he spoke up. A heavy smirk spread on Rho's face as he just barely caught Mena's voice from how soft it came out. Oh yeah, he'd known he'd won the bet, but this was still damn satisfying to see.
He rolled over to cuddle into Mena's thighs this time and looked upwards to appreciate the view. "Gmorning babe, or should I say future mommy" He was half-trolling and half-attempting to bring Mena out of his head Menelie Tirzah broke into a huge grin and tackle-hugged the other two. "We did it!" She cried. She was just...overjoyed to the point of near tears. "We're gonna be parents!" Mena was about to shove Rho off with a smart remark when he got bowled over by Tirzah. As usual her enthusiasm was contagious and it helped alleviate some of that anxiety. But not all of it. "Yeah," he agreed weakly with a bit of a nervous giggle. He laid back down, sort of pulling the other two with him. "I am...not ready to be upright yet," he said. "Can we just...stay like this a while?" Daisicle In that moment where Tirzah tackled the pair, Rho thoroughly enjoyed the sensation of his face being squished against Mena's meaty thighs. It was a good morning. He moved as Mena laid down to keep from suffocating between the two of them and draped an arm over Mena's body and rested his head against a conveniently-located 'pillow' to get nice and comfy in his 'middle-spoon' spot.
"Damn, didn't know the morning sickness kicked in -that- quick." Menelie Tirzah cuddled up behind Rho, leaning her head on her arm to prop it up so she could see over him. "I think Mena's just not quite ready to face the world yet," she remarked gently. She reached over Rho and patted Mena's arm comfortingly. "I...I just want to pretend we're the only ones in the world for a little while," agreed Mena. "And not think about what's gonna happen tomorrow, or a week from now, or..." He tried not to think about everything they'd need to go through when they got home. Daisicle Turned out Rho's joke had been mistimed, but that was okay. "How about, once you're feeling ready, we go get some massages and we can get our hair done at that fancy salon they got, maybe grab some souvenirs for everyone back home... And just enjoy ourselves before we gotta head back tomorrow." Menelie Mena sighed and closed his eyes, pulling Rho close and thrn pulling the blanket up over the 3 of them. "Tirzah nodded her agreement. "That's sounds fun. A little bit of pampering for all of us."/color]
