The thought of this--of going to Lysithea, of telling her about Gelria--had almost stopped Cleeia in his tracks more than once. His heart raced, and he felt something in his chest constrict. But Lysithea was so gentle, so kind, surely she would understand. Maybe she would even have some advice for him!
As long as he wasn't too honest. She didn't need to know he was thinking of leaving the Negaverse. But the rest...she might have good ideas.
So he knocked on the door to her office, and swallowed nervously. This was...probably a good idea, he thought.
"Lysithea? It's Cleeia, I need to talk to you," he said, voice a little shaky.

Lysithea looked up and her eyes brightened at the voice and the name. “Cleeia! Yeah of course! What’s up?” She stood and moved over to the door, taking his hands and tugging him inside, frowning slightly at the way his voice shook and the nervousness that was plain in his face. “..Are you okay? Did something happen? Come sit down, Clee. I’ll get you something to drink and something to eat, okay? You’re pale.”
She moved him over to her couch and had him sit down, going so far as to cover him up with her blanket that was covered in unicorns, (of course), and then busied herself grabbing a soda and a bag of chips, holding them out to her corrupt.
“Whatever you need, I’m here for you, okay? Are you hurt? Is something wrong, first off. Also, second off, It's good to see you! I missed you!”

Cleeia let her tug him along; he wasn't sure he could have resisted, anyway. The fact that he was nervous was probably more than obvious, and she even sounded worried about him.
"It's, um, a long story," Cleeia admitted, and he let her bustle him around, glad for her energy, because it gave him time to think about exactly what he wanted to say. So when she offered him the drink and chips, he took them, but didn't start drinking or snacking.
Not yet.
"There's this Senshi," he started, and he reached up to guiltily rub at his neck, where Gelria had left his mark. "And he's, um. Very interested in me," to say the least, "and I'm just not sure what to do, because he's on the other side. And I was wondering if you had any advice? It's obviously a very messy situation, and I'd like to avoid making it too much messier." He sighed, and opened the soda, and took a sip. "So I thought to come to you, since you're my superior officer."

Lysithea laughed and gave an excited coo. “Oh! My little Cleeia has a boyfriend!” She grabbed herself a soda and flopped onto the couch next to him, pleased by the new. “Well, it’s not so bad of a situation. You just have to convince him of the truth! Get him to come to us…and if he won’t come willingly, then we’ll bring him in by force if we must. But, you have a chance to save him.”
She nudged him and felt a strange, uncomfortable pain in her chest as she spoke the words. They were what she was supposed to say.
“Tell me about him!”

A chance to save him.
Of course Lysithea would see bringing him into the Negaverse that way. Cleeia wasn't sure Gelria would agree. Cleeia wasn't sure he agreed. But he did his best not to let his disagreement show on his face, taking another sip of his drink.
"I-I guess you could say that," he said, glad for the first time in his life that he blushed easily, because her teasing did in fact make him wriggle a little with mild discomfort. "We're not exactly official or anything, but...maybe after I bring him over." If he could bear to do it.
How much should he tell her?
"He, uh. His name is Gelria," that seemed like an obvious detail to hand over, and certainly one she'd ask for if he avoided it. "He's an Eternal, and he and I fought the first time we met; his magic's pretty nasty, but that just means he'd be really useful, yeah?" He wrung his hands together. "But after we cleared up the little misunderstanding that had us fighting, he's actually been quite sweet to me."
He paused, for a long moment.
"What...happens to people, when they change sides?"

Lysithea hummed softly, mentally marking the name down for later notes, but she paused at the question. “Well..Um. First off, are you okay? He hurt you? I don’t like the idea of people hurting my friends, and if it happens again, I will kick his a**. I do know how to, you know.”
With a sigh she rested against Cleeia a little more. “Um. Well. From what I know. It depends if they come willingly or have it forced on them. I…you lose your memories, no matter what, but from what I’ve been told and with what happened to me, you lose more when the corruption is unwilling. I was on the White Moon too, you see…they had taken me by force…and. My brother, Faustite he worked so hard to get me back…and finally did…but it cost me all of my memories…and…”
She swallowed and seemed to shrink a little. “And that’s why it’s better to bring him willingly!”

"I'm okay," Cleeia said, very quickly. "We fought a while ago, and he didn't do much damage. And he hasn't tried to hurt me since." He didn't need Lysithea running off to get into a fight with Gelria; that would make things infinitely complicated.
He listened to her explanation about memories, and for a moment, he couldn't help but feel relief. He'd forget things. That was nice; he expected it would make things easier for him, adjusting later.
"I...I see," he said. "I'll have to try to convince him, then. I hope he listens, because I'd like for him to remember me when he comes over. Remember us."

Lysithea hesitated for a long moment and then sighed. “If…he still refuses to listen. If he starts fighting you…you might have to kill him. Just be. Aware of that. You have the power to take his starseed. If it comes to your or him, he will have to die, Cleeia…I know that. You…”
Oh god. What the hell was she even saying?
…But the words just kept on pouring out.
“You may be infatuated, but he is the enemy, you need to remember that, if he can’t be turned…he has to be disposed of…but. There is hope, if you can get his starseed and call for a sovereign, they might be able to save him. So there is that. But…I would do it quickly, Clee. I know that there are some who don’t see any sort of friendly communication with the White Moon as good…and I don’t want you marked as a traitor…”

The thought made Cleeia's stomach drop. It almost sounded like a warning, even in Lysithea's sweet, gentle tones. If it came to him or Gelria, Gelria had to die. And he had the power to make that happen.
Once, the power to pull starseeds had seemed like a wonderful dream, power that was right at his fingertips. Now, it felt like a heavy burden. A curse.
"I...I understand," he said, and he nodded, and he tried to make himself look like he had something approaching resolution. Maybe he did. Maybe he was just an idiot.
"I won't let that happen," he promised. "I'll do what has to be done, Lysithea. I swear."

She smiled softly, nodding and wrapped an arm around him, giving him a light squeeze. “I look forward to meeting him! I hope that he’ll want to be friends!”
They could go shopping together and…
And it would be someone else who held no expectations from her.
Even if her stomach was still churning from the things she said, she felt a bit better…it wouldn’t come to that. Cleeia would manage to get his Gelria over to their side…and they would live happily ever after…
Right?
