Hati hadn't been out as a senshi on patrol in a long while. Everything had happened so much, and all he'd wanted to do was stay at home and cuddle his girlfriend and look out for his sister. Eventually, though, he did have to get back out there and protect the people that he lived amongst. The people he actually had the power to protect.

So, off he went, stalking silently through the night, senses on high alert for any ill-doing, any Chaos signatures he could detect. Protect. That was his job, and he'd do it.

He sensed her, then, and slowed down, leaping onto a roof to try and stay undetected a little longer. He could probably get the drop on her... Just scare her away. There was no need to use his magic. The memory of his fight with Lionel left an impression on him.

He dropped to the ground next to her.

"I suggest going back home," he said, voice low.

Hati tried to step back and avoid the spell, get out of range somehow, but the petals swirled around him, making him sneeze. Instead of focusing on the battle happening in front of him, now he was thinking about his dream of becoming a famous artist, selling paintings for millions. God, he knew it would never happen to someone like him, even if he had the perfect tragic backstory—because that was a thing that only happened in stories, not real life. He'd never get to be as amazing as he wanted to be.

s**t. Tears blurred his eyes and he inhaled sharply. No, no. Now wasn't the time to cry, but he couldn't... quite... remember why. Until he looked up again.

"This sucks," he managed to say, thoughts still swirling around his art. Should he cast his spell? It was so hard to focus around the lump in his throat.

Hati inhaled sharply to answer her, but inhaled one of her petals and had to spend several moments coughing it back out of his throat. Well, at least she didn't like fighting, he thought as he sat down and leaned against the wall so he could recover. Her magic had faded and with it so did the petal in his throat, so breathing was at least a possibility. He grimaced as he wheezed a bit, taking deep, slow breaths.

"I sometimes forget how tall I am," he admitted, coughing a bit again as talking scratched at his throat. "I'm not a fan of fighting, either. There's rules in boxing, but in brawling? Nah."

He smiled a bit, hoping she felt calmed. Or at least not like freaking out too much.

"I'm, uh. Sailor Hati. You got, uh... you like rose wine?"

Hati smiled. Cute, that she didn't get the joke about roses. He supposed it would be hard to imagine him as the sort of guy to make a pun... then again, he thought it would be hard for people to see him as a wine guy, and yet.

"Yeah, that's true. I'm more a fan of white wines, riesling in particular. I like this one, hell, I forget the brand name, but I'd know the bottle if I saw it? Tastes like apple juice, somehow. I love it. I'd drink too much if I'm not careful, though," he said with a chuckle.

Hati nodded along as she talked about her preferred wines, only making a tiny face when she mentioned bubbly. He just... wasn't a fan of bubbly drinks. Carbonation, in general. Maybe an orange soda, on occasion, but in general, not his favorite thing.

"Fruity's always good," he agreed, finally standing up and dusting himself off. "And hey, don't worry about it. I scared you. May not have been my intent, but... You weren't actively doing anything, so."

He shrugged. "If you find yourself in too much trouble with the boss... feel free to come find me, alright? Stay safe out there, Wine Girl."

In a show of trust, he turned and walked away first.
