Eliazer's night was proving to be one of the longest in his career.
Adhira's intel put him on the trail of a thief making his way up from Talrise toward Valmon. Yuli Vigoss was experienced at laying low and proved to be a difficult catch; at first. With the combined efforts of Adhira and Eliazer they were able to capture him, though not without some injuries on both sides, and now the pair were taking him in for assessment. Adhira was likely already at the security sector's office, and Eliazer was just entering the city with his mark in the back of his wagon.
Yuli was - thankfully - still unconscious and with a carefully tossed blanket he looked to just be sleeping. With a closer eye one could make out the bruising on the man's face and the manacles that encircled his wrists. Eliazer himself faired no better; he was bruised, cut in a few spots, and a few broken ribs made for a never ending cycle of aggravation.
All he had to do was get Yuli to the security sector's office and it would all end though.

There were good days… And then there were days Solari wanted to tear her hair out because peons just weren’t getting into position. Solari already had a good network of thieves going thankful since she herself had started as such, but now she was moving on up and more often than not she was the one with the jobs for the other thieves. It kept them on her side and while they did get a cut of the profit, she still made plenty from those jobs. This meant she could have her hands in quite a few honey pots at once.
One of these thieves who she’d recently sent off on one of her calls was Yuli. She’d saved him a few times and hide him most of the time. He wasn’t the bets thief but most of the time he got the job done. That was until one of her associates had informed her someone was after him and he’d been caught… Like an idiot. Solari had sent out a few of her spies to track him down and had found not one but two individuals involved in his capture.
So here she was, dragging her butt from work to go and get the poor idiot. She’d brought along two enforcers just in case things got nasty, but she wasn’t expecting things to go away when coin was involved.
Solari spotted the Geian in the wagon with Yuli onboard, she shook her head and rolled her eyes.
“Go stop the wagon,” she pointed to it. The heck she was getting in front of that thing if the driver decided to run her over.

The city was calm; suspiciously so. Sounds of nocturnal shops and workhands carried on in the distance, but it was as much white noise as crickets in the countryside. Eliazer gave a tug to the reigns and pulled his cart around a curve in the street. His blunderbuss sat on the seat next to him, as ready to shoot as ever, and tucked away in his boot was a rather hefty dagger. As far as he knew Yuli worked alone so the precautions he'd taken were only against the man himself and not outside forces.
Big mistake.
Movement was what caught his eye first. Just traces of it out of the corner of his eye, but soon enough Eliazer had no choice but to react. The geian hurriedly lifted his blunderbuss and took a shot at the closest body.

Solari watched with amusement, because really there was no other way than to find this situation amusing, as the enforcer ducked to avoid the shot. It skimmed his arm, and she heard the grunt as he landed hard onto the ground. The other one took cover, unsheathing his own weapon. Well now she didn’t have to worry about him running her over but shooting her. Delightful. If he was going to keep shooting though he was going to attract unwanted attention, so she was going to have to put a stop to that.
“Now now, no need for so much shooting.” Solari came out from her spot into the light, hands clear so he could clearly see she was unharmed. She gave the other enforcer a look because if she was shot, she was going to end him, so he better cover her. “You’ve got quite a trigger-happy finger don’t you think?”

A matorian?
If he hadn't had so much experience with their kind he might have taken a longer pause seeing someone so foreign in Belrea. That being said, Eliazer's best friend just so happened to have a matorian mother and thus he didn't waste a breath raising his weapon to level it toward her. In an instant he could pull the trigger, but there was no denying he was outnumbered.
She wasn't alone; question was, how many 'friends' did she have?
Without the ability to vocalize, Eliazer slowed his lips and mouthed "Who are you?".
