Bio:
As a child Nalla was raised by her parents and older brother. She was loved by all three and liked by all the adults in her very small village. At a young age Nalla would get picked on and teased by all the children of her village because of her shyness and stuttering. Because of that she tended to stay at her house with her family as much as she could. She did as much as she could helping her mother around the house and in their garden. One day, a few months before her fourth birthday, her father and brother were summoned to help in battle. But as her birthday drew near one of the men from the village, who had also been called to battle, rode up to her home with her father and brother in the back of his cart.
Her mother then decided to bought her a lute, the one that she carries around with her to this day. Her mother, hoping it would help Nalla grieve and process her sadness, gave her the lute a day early. Even though she was only four years old Nalla was intelligent enough to understand that her father and brother would never be coming back. That the only way she would be able to see them would be to visit their graves. From then on it was her mother and the rest of their village working to help raise her. And in that time Nalla spent a lot more time tending to their garden, singing songs and playing her lute.
A few years after their deaths Nalla was spending time in the garden, like she always would, when she found a small fox den. It was then that she learned that she was not like any of the other children in her village. For, you see, she had been able to calm the foxes in the den. Shortly after learning she could use her skills to calm foxes, she also found out that she could inspire and calm humans as well. But once Nalla turned 16, she started needing taking care of her mother, who had been suffering from an illness that had progressively gotten worse. Sadly when Nalla was 18 her mother passed away from her illness and since then Nalla has been taking care of her old family home and tending to the garden where the fox den is still being used by the offspring of the foxes she had first met there.
